Thanks for the review, Phil! We always want to do high-end products in GloveBox but we have to remind ourselves that we have a large set of subscribers that are just hobbyists and after a recent survey we learned that 40% do not have a pressure washer so this foam cannon fit the bill. We also have a tight budget and cannot afford to put an MTM or MJJC in our boxes. Next month's box will be a big one with a couple new brands and products on the market (one from Italy)! Thanks again!
This would really help customers have a fun time with their kids to get them interested in cleaning their cars. So refreshing to watch as fun sometimes is no longer present to some people. Good on ya!
Great video Phil. Although The Armor All foam cannon isn't for everyone you explain the expectations for every product and what it's use would be for and who would use it. As always I like how you showcase a variety of products from higher end to items we can find at Autozone and Walmart.
A great video to share with friends that believe that washing a car is the same as detailing a car. They can get the same feel as detailing without all the costs like a purchasing a pressure washer or high end foam cannon.
Great video and review Phil . Nice job highlighting all the Glovebox products and showing how to use them. Appreciate all the content and always enjoy each and every video.
Whatever it takes, let's keep Phil going, like, sub, share and watch his vids over and over again. Like so many others, I have learned a ton from these two detailers. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for reviewing the glove box. I subscribe to glove box also and haven't been able to use mine yet but looking forward to it now! Like others on here thanks for reviewing "store" bought products! Keep up the great work!!!
Hey Phil, why not have some fun. That was fun. I can surely tell you a lot more people are going to buy these products in the video that won't. Not a lot want to detail their vehicles, but just a nice wash quickly. Everything being so expensive these days, this is a great easy option to buy. Good for you reviewing these! I'll send video to my friends. Thank you Phil, hi wife.
Mate, I watch regularly but have only commented once before and that was to show my appreciation of you bringing your wife some coffee lol. This time I'm commenting to tell you that I can't get over how much more handsome you look with the facial hair. I've never seen a fellow man that didn't look better with his facial hair, even if it was just a 2 day stubble. I keep playing with different lengths but have never been clean shaven myself; facial hair is a guy's crowning glory and I hope you'll keep rocking the new look. Trust me, you were born to have a beard, my fellow caveman lol 👍 Other than that, I have a request and hoping you'll make it happen sooner than later. Since you're open enough to review Armorall products; I've always found Formula 1 waxes to punch above their weight. They now have a new ceramic liquid wax and a ceramic spray wax which are priced even higher than the Turtle Wax Flex Wax and their liquid Graphene Max Wax. The bottles look absolutely premium and beautiful and the high pricing is intriguing as to why they think they can charge as much as the proven flex wax or Max wax. I'd be so thrilled if you could review those 2 waxes; I'm well into my detailing journey and have graduated to all the good stuff you pro guys use; but the Formula 1 waxes have always kept their place in my heart and on my shelf. These new waxes are pretty pricey in my part of the world with various import duties, which is why I'm wanting you to do the leg work for me before I sink money into buying them. My heart says they'll be as good as their older cleaner waxes and my heart says you're going to like them too. Please say yes🤗
Hey man. Thanks so much! I’m willing to try to the new formula 1 waxes, but as far as getting a video out soon, that may pose a problem. I have a ton of videos I’m working on and it will most likely span a few months since I only publish videos on Sunday afternoon. But who knows, I see if I can find some of those waxes locally. Which formula 1 waxes are you talking about specifically so I know which one to get?
Hey yes sorry, I didn't mean to be so pushy haha. With your busy schedule, to even agree to do the waxes in future is enough for me. I'll finish my TW graphene bottles meantime while I wait in line for you to get around to my request. So please do it only when you can, no worries. I'm not very patient with buying detailing stuff and will probably just buy them based on my history with the brand. But you're not a brand snob and your insight is really valuable and so I'm sure we'll all learn if this new Formula 1 stuff is any good and how to get the best from it. I remember being underwhelmed with the TW ceramic polish & wax and wondering what the hype was about. And then I found your video where you guys did that badly repainted Chevy ex cop car. Your tips completely transformed my experience with that polish and I've remained a huge fan of it ever since. That is still the best video on TH-cam for anyone that wants to learn that polish. I don't know if TH-cam allows external links in comments and will try to share Amazon links after this comment. But if it doesn't let me, then I'm just typing the full product names below: 1) Formula 1 Ceramic Liquid Wax (it's a lovely red 16oz bottle just like the TW Ceramic polish bottle) 2) Formula 1 Ceramic Spray Wax (again a red spray bottle) Thank you for your time🙏
I really enjoy the back to basics car washing for us DIYers, I started with a hose and bucket, moved up to a hose foam cannon and eventually a pressure washer foam cannon setup, great video Phil, by the way the beard is looking good, mine on the other hand is as white as Santa’s lol 👍😁
The dual purpose foam cannon/gun is unique and makes sense for many DIY for autos and house/roof washing. Plus using to clean your outside A/C condenser needs that water hose connection.
Both chemical guys and Adam’s make products similar to the armor all product but they are strictly water hose based washers. Good bang for the buck. Great video. Thanks for the review
I've gotta say Phil that I was a bit distracted by the water pressure (or lack of) from your garden hose. If mine sprayed like that, I would be looking for a kink in the hose 🤣 I guess that's something I'm blessed with - good water pressure. I use a 3/4" industrial hose, so I think that helps a lot. But props for testing "regular guy" stuff 👍
Great video Phil. Armor All i would really not touch but that foam canon was not the worst. Myself i tried the Auto Glym foam canon and that too was ok, it foams well with their Polar Wash Soap.
Love your videos. I have a fiberglass bass boat. I have sealed the gel coat with a synthetic sealant product made for boats. On top of that I have applied the old school collinite hard paste wax. I’m curious if you have a suggestion for the best product to quickly wipe down the boat after each use. I think I’m liking the sort of old-school wax effect of the collinite. I’m wondering if there is a quick wax (real wax)product that I could use to wipe it down each time after coming off the water. thanks. Also, if you have any suggestions for your best system on sealing and maintaining a fiberglass boat. I would love to hear what you think is the best way to do that as well.
I use the Armorall Ceramic wash after my contact wash to add protection and I do get tight water beads. I wouldnt use it for a contact wash on a dirty car as I don't think it has enough lubrication.
Hi. So it’s not a professional version by any means. It doesn’t have the same internal components like a true foam cannon so it’s not going to preform like one.
@@MirandaDetailingyeah thanks understood. Its armorall after all :) it just seemed to be a really weak stream. If they went to the trouble of making something like this, Id like to 😮think theyd want it to perform a little better redardless if its for irregular home use. Enjoy your channel from Australia.
Have you ever had a customer vehicle leak oil/fluids on your property including either driveway garage etc. what can be done about this if it happens ? :( also you look amazing Phil ❤️💪🏻👍
Not really. Maybe small drops of oil but that’s about it. If we ever had a large amount just use kitty litter to soak and absorb it for a day then sweep it up and trash it.
Does that foam cannon have the 1.25 or the 1.1 jet in it ? If it has the 1.25 in it,the 1.1 would definitely make better foam with the smaller pressure washer and possibly better foam with the garden hose I think
Hi. I’m not sure. I didn’t open it up to check. I wanted to use it like a normal person would just washing their car. But maybe it could benefit by an orfice change.
if someone already has a pressure washer chances are they have a foam cannon but there’s garden hose foam blaster at walmart called the Platinum Series Foam Cleanser Sprayer. for $30 bucks i bought one and the gun that came with shoots water out like the wrath of poseidon, great for for filling my buckets or spraying down the international space station when it’s floating by in orbit 😂. my first one broke because of negligence and i recently bought another just for the gun, it’s that good
Hi. Nope. The towels always work great for us after using products like this. Just wash and they are as good as new. However over many months or a year the towel itself will loose absorbency, not because of products but because or age, wear and tear.
I'd have to say that for someone who just wants to put soapy water on their car, or for the "average" driveway detailer, this would work fine. But most people expect more, and better quality. I haven't ever liked Armor-All products.
I Had An Opportunity To Use This Product, Saturday At A Youth Football Car Wash & What A Fantastic Concept, But TERRIBLE Quality On The Trigger Handle. Hard Plastic(s)👎🏿 Thanks For A Great Video.🤝🏿
Armor All water pistol and canon are plastic be careful not to long in the sun or throw it I did only the wheels its time for mi self to many products nice video
The foam gun/cannon is getting universally poor reviews. The foaming capabilities are far inferior to the stand alone products (sprayer, foam gun, foam cannon) of similar value. While the combo factor is a neat concept, it is poorly executed. I understand your opinion that this may be intended for a DIYer. However I do wonder if it satisfactorily reached that low bar…
🤦🏻♂️ for the average person washing their exercise at home with no PW this is a perfect option. I have suggested foam cannons like this to customers who don’t have a PW and they love them. What do you mean by “just do it right”?
@@MirandaDetailing just do it right as in spend the extra $ and get a proper foam canon if you have a pressure washer. If you just have a garden hose, you'd be better off literally dumping a bucket of suds water into the car and saving yourself the time and money..

I honestly wish I lived closer to you Phil I would love for you to do a ceramic coating on my ram 3500 dually
Same here but he is in VA which is a very long drive from where I live. I would love to ceramic coat my entire new GX 460!
Agreed, though i live in Canada so is a bit far... lol
Thank u so much for all information and testing for us to know if it’s a good idea to buy. Much love
Another great video Phil, you always prove you don’t have to wash your own car like someone else’s Ferrari! Keep doing what you do.
Exactly! Thanks!
The beard and haircut is badass

I really enjoy your videos Phil 👍
Thanks 👍

Hi. That sounds like a good process. We don’t detail boats so honestly I don’t know much about them.
Great job buddy 🎉
I would never let Armor All touch my car.. not even my winter beater. There are just far better options out there.

Phil, have you ever tried Weathtech products and if so how would you rate them? Great video. 👍
