Thanks for the vid, Jamie! Wonder if changing the orifice would make a difference on the AA foam canon. I believe the shampoo and APC were the real stars of the show. Good stuff there. 👍
@@JamieTheCleaner urs was bad lol 😂 I don’t think mine was that bad before I changed to 1.1. Make sure u take a short of that punt! Bahahaha it’s good! 🏈
I got the AA cannon in my Glovebox. Before i use it I'm gonna change out the orifice for a 1.1mm one. As.soon as i remember where i put my spares. Geaux Tigers.
Opened this month's glove box and thought maybe i could use the extra foam cannon for wheel cleaner or something. that thing wasn't even worth dragging out the pressure washer for. the hose gun handle is okay if you have those plastic large nozzle tips for cleaning soffits and what not. that's probably the nicest thing I could say about the armor all. I let the armor all car wash sit in the sun and dry because i had an important phone call distract me. that stuff will stain and not come off without polish.
The weighted tube should definitely be included with the upgrade kit for the MTM. Maybe MTM will fix that issue soon and include it in the future? MTM are you listening to this??? The coveted "wide mouth" that everyone wanted on it since day one when it was introduced has finally been resolved. MTM finally made the upgrade! That pretty much has been everyone's only complaint about the MTM foam cannon. The weighted tube was another upgrade that was needed as the other "high end" cannons have weighted tube allowing for 360 degree use depending on what the orientation of the wand/cannon is. The three "halo" foam cannons right now in time are pretty much the high end MTM, Griot's BOSS Foam cannon, and the high end version of the MJJC foam cannon. BOSS is still my personal favorite as it has the metering tips which I actually use quite a bit allowing that inner thread to accept product bottles directly hooked up to the cannon which is very convenient. I save a lot of product using the metering tips as you don't waste it making up a pre-mixed solution in the jar first. If you don't use all the product, you usually just waste it because you have to pour it out and flush out the cannon to avoid any problems with it clogging up. I do want to upgrade to the high end MTM stainless fittings shorty gun and wand from MTM sold through Obsessed Garage or a couple other places. I am getting ready to upgrade to the Kranzle TS1122 as my Karcher K5 pressure washer just died so I will probably just get the whole Kranzle with the stainless MTM accessory kit from Obsessed. Nice review Jamie. Still one of my favorite detailing channels on TH-cam. You do a great job Jamie and I love your candor and honest opinions no matter what the product is or who the company is. That goes a long way sir!
I am in Marrero where are you and, will you be coating the whole truck with the winner. Apex original metal oxide required training but the polyz whatever does not and available to the public
The coating to keep an eye on in these tests is Rain Dance from Black Rhino in my opinion. It is FAR FAR cheaper in price than the CCI and ADS glass coatings. Plus it comes in a 50mL bottle….so you get a lot for very little cost. Having said that if you’re just buying a glass coating for your own cars the 15mL bottle EZ Glass from Ethos is all you need…however even that bottle is more expensive than Black Rhino😂 On another note MTM can’t be the goat with connection issues on some of their bottles and no weighted tube…..MJJC is the GOAT😂
@@JamieTheCleaner ADS, and of course the professional company, CCI make outstanding products but if Rain Dance can hang with them performance wise then it’s a no brainer on which one to buy. $29.95 for a 50mL bottle might be the best value of ANY detailing product made by any company……in other words this $30 coating is what that other $30 coating should’ve looked like😂😂
@@JamieTheCleaner thank you for taking the time to interact with my comments. On another note I’ve been using DIY 3 year graphene and Apex BC1 on customers cars who want to keep their cost down. Both of those products are outstanding so far so I imagine the the coatings your testing from DIY & Apex will do great! Great videos and I live in Alabama so we encounter similar environmental challenges to our coatings. At least we don’t have the snow, ice, road salt to contend with!
BUGS! From one trip to the Zoo. Y’all got different zoos there. 😂 Where I’m from we don’t have bug zoos, and the zoos we do have, you’re not allowed to bring any of the animals home with you. 😂😂 Looks like the ArmorAll foam thingy has NO orifice in it at all, just wide open.
Any word on whether MTM is going to release proper wide mouth lids? I’m still a little shocked that they expect people to remove the body and use the old tiny lids.
@@SpartanKyuubi Have you been watching FOX news? Hahaha.... Ok Seriously. I have not had issues, but after every use I just quickly run through with water alone to clean internals. Leaving any soap residue will clog or minimize performance on any foam cannon.
@@IamDetailedAF I do the same thing, my water is filtered, and for some damn reason the MJJC is my only cannon that does this. When it performs it performs. But every 6 or 7 uses it starts to have a significant drop in the amount of liquid it pulls from the bottle.
Good stuff Jamie had me rolling with the Armor All foam cannon.
The little “cannon” that came with my EGO beat AA. Lord!! Coatings still going 💪

I think the alchemist bottles have an edgy late 1980s, early 1990s vibe. Should really appeal to the younger early teen enthusiasts. Pretty neat
Just placed an order to try out alchemist…I went with the Aquafoam, the citrus APC and Crowne (the spray sealant)

Great vid! That's odd results with the AAFC as the original AAFC that is a dedicated PWFC works WAY better than that. Adding the GH option ruined it.

Would adding some APC to the foam cannon with the soap work as well?
