Good afternoon Missy, I am watching this on TH-cam, I'm trying to subscribe and I cannot find a subscribe button for TH-cam. TH-cam I'm already on FB with you and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I need your help please😢
My grandmother used to make roast and dressing. She cook a huge beef chuck roast ( which my granddad always had a beef slaughtered yearly) and make the dressing with the roast broth. It was as good as the turkey dressing on thanksgiving!
I love that you are like my mama's sisters. You say "you'uns" and y'all interchangeably. 😊 My mama was a NC mtn girl and I was raised in Eastern KY/WV throughout my teenage years.
Yes Kinzy.. have to have some crandbertry sauce anlog sid of this dressing .. LOL I use crandberry sauce on a sanWich... after thanks giving with some mayo and salt on some good breat.. Yummy
I call it dressing , always have. Ohhhh love cornbread dressing. My mother in law used to make the best, she passed last yr. I’ll always think of her when I have it.

I love dressing that’s my favorite thing for thanksgiving my daddy used to make it when we were growing up and he would always save me a small bowl of it before he baked it. I miss that so much my daddy has gone to be with the Lord now.
My Mom made the best cornbread dressing. I was the taster since I liked it before it was baked.(she made it with boiled eggs instead of the raw so no danger) She always saved me a bowl. She went to be with Jesus in 1999. She is missed so much. Our holidays have never been thesame. Wishing you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving. 🍁🍽
Just subscribed and followed you on Facebook. I'm in southwestern Virginia. My uncle calls it "stuffing". He said that "dressing" is something you put on salad. Question for you: do you make your own cranberry sauce? Have a blessed day. Keep on cooking!
Very good video, thanks. I'm in Texas and we do our dressing the same as you did but we add hard boiled eggs and some celery. We like LOTS of sage in ours. And like you, NO sugar. One year my SIL used jiffy cornbread (which is sweet) and we all hated it - she did, too. So no sweet dressing for us. Thanks for your video. You made me hungry.😂
I love that your recipe does not call for "cream of ___ soup". I can't eat dairy and I haven't found a substitute for that soup element. Can't wait to make the dressing your way 👏👏🎉🎉 Thank you
I make my dressing like this but add my Mothers secret ingredient to the mix. It gives the dressing a wonderful taste. It is so good !! We add no sage just poultry seasoning. Your dressing looks great!!
Just subscribed, love watching you guys cook on Facebook so of course I had to follow you guys over here as well. I love cornbread dressing, my grandma used to make it every year. Where is description for cornbread?
My favorite I make this a lot... This is how we row over here in Kingsport Tennessee 😊
In Texas, we say dressing and cook it in a pan and leave it! No stuffing! No mushrooms!
We don’t do stuffing, always cornbread dressing
