Fine work Dr. Veale! 'It's all a load of bollocks', and 'getting mixed up with past childhood events' really hit home for me.

I’ve been arrested and prosecuted for trying to dispel intrusive thoughts (after informing my psychiatrist). The criminal justice system does not understand and I have been prosecuted for trying to dispel egodystonic thoughts. Trying to prevent my thinking about crime , I’ve been turned into a criminal by the police!
You may be interested in my bizarre story as I am a medical research doctor with a higher degree in psychology.
This “criminality” label came upon me me in 2018 and I can’t seem to find any help to improve the CJS

Somehow at 17 I've managed to have most of those OCDs ever since 10 years old. I'm still working to get rid of my ocd and always will, never will give too much weight to my ocd, but it's fucking hard after so long.

The “C” word you’re looking for to describe avoidance is Circumvention 🤓
