After years of observation I discovered that for me ocd is providing fake safety. It is it’s role in my life, or in my brain. As there is much underlying anxiety and basically this steady stream of a mental state where I feel never safe, and whenever I try to feel safe with myself and with reacting to situations with self security then there is this immediate spike of anxiety and intrusive thought and urge of compulsion arrives in the very same split of a second. Only to bring at least some resemblance of safety. Which of course is never a genuine safety within the brain and body.

Remarkable with the chap at 10 minutes in. Quite Gestalt. Fascinating.
