There is also a cream Type Thingy. Its often Used by VR owners to get rid of Scratches on their lenses. Idk the Name but its something Like "poly[smt]". Just look at any Video about cleaning lenses

Good to know, I have thrown out tons of games because the scratches made them unplayable, maybe next time I'll check the local gamestop for a disk resurfacer. 👍

I remember just either spitting on it then drying it off with my clothes. Or just pouring water on it and drying it with a towel. It Suprisingly worked pretty well. Though I'm pretty sure it was all luck

You could put your toothbrush, just rub it, and, glue it, if it is broken/shattered/cut.

The GameCube part, some shops can’t resurface GameCube discs for some reason.
Because the discs are smaller so they need an adapter specifically for GameCube discs in order for it to work in the resurfacer

When i get the Unable to read the disc error on my Wii, I quickly bring the disc to the sink and wash it with soap. It works perfectly fine after cleaning.
Also, whenever i bring my Wii over to my grandparents house and when my cousins are there. I mostly get that error and we all spit on the disc one by one and wipe it with a tissue. IT LITERALLY WORKS 😂
My parents had one of these in the house with a manual handcrank, i thought it was crazy cool

i tried this multible times on my nfs rivals disk it isnt that scratched problem is it starts downloading data and it just stops at 27%/28% and after a few attempts it says it isnt readable
I thought this was going to be a joke where he just destroys the scratched disc and say
*"It's not scratched anymore, it's destroyed"*

I don't know if it's because it's scratched, but my copy of msrio kart wii, even 7 years ago, would never load Toads Factory or ghost valley 2. Everytime I try, I get the black screen shutdown thst says "an error has occurred". The game also used to not even read for years, but now I just gave it a wipe with a wet paper towel and it plays, but those 2 levels don't load EVER. And I'm betting tried of only playing the first 4 cups, but unlockable CUP or CHARACTER REQUIRES you in one way or another, to play all the levels or half of them and all of them make me play mushroom or shell cup, yet the tracks won't load, making it IMPOSSIBLE for ME to unlock ANYTHING in the game! I don't know if it's because the disc is scratched, or if the game is defective, I seriously don't know. And there's no way for me to fix it because 1. I don't know any places near me that do disc resurfacing 2. Even if I did, I can't drive myself there because I'm too young to have a license, and 3. I'm always broke anyways. Do you guys know of this issue or do you guys have ay fixes that are FREE and I don't need to go anywhere to do it?

My Mario Galaxy 2 won't work but it just won't even read the disc I put it in my Wii and it read all my other games but when I put Mario Galaxy 2 in it didn't even show that there was a disc in there so do you think the store would fix it?
Can't resurfacers like that be purchased online nowadays? I understand that there might be an issue with it due to prices and all, but I assume that these still exist in different forms big and/or small by now.
Get a SkipDr! GET A SKIPDR!!!! and some polishing compound!!!!! When using the Dr, add some compound besides the solution that comes with it, IT WORKS.
Can you fix it when its broken in half?

Or I think you could rub a banana peel and then the scratches will go away...
It sadly doesn't work for wiiu games.
My call of duty modern warfare 3 disc is so bad it takes my Xbox 4 days to load the game up
Went to game x change, they had a disc resurfacer, it didn’t do a single thing.

My question is has anybody ever tried filling the scratches with some sort of like epoxy or polish and then resurfacing it so you don't lose that portion of the disc because if it gets scratched again there's a certain point at which it's going to get to the data
And what if your disc have deep scratches or no scratches at all? I have a wii u copy of Nintendo Land ad it didn’t have any scratches, but for some reason my wii u couldn’t read it, so I tried another wii u at my friends house and same results :(

I took all my games into a store to be resurfaced they came back looking brand new yet none of them worked, discs are the stupidest creation ever, 1 little scratch in the wrong place and you disc is dead nothing will fix it, everything in the world can be fixed but not discs,
Well, you're wrong it could be fixed and needs proper buffing. If the disc has a scratch that is too deep on the top it cannot be fixed if it is completely blocking the data so it really depends.
How do i repair cracked discs?

Hey guys people try to clean discs with a thoothpast, you should try this on your old disks hope it will work , do not make bread and butter, just tip on a disk and clean with towel and keep cleaning the disk until it dry
