The 1950s Betty Crocker always has my 💜. Your collection is awesome. I’ve never heard of some of them. But, I always love a good church cookbook. Tried and true. Of those, my hometown church cookbook is so special. Recipes shared by family and friends. My mom passed her passion of collecting recipes & cookbooks on to both my sister & I. Cherished & treasured. Thank you for sharing 🥰

I love love love cookbooks. While I was in high school, I took Home Ec all four years. I loved to bake. I would stay home on weekends and bake cookies, muffins, brownies, desserts, and homemade bread for my parents. I still have many of the recipes acquired from those Home Ec classes. And of course a LARGE cookbook collection of my own and ones my Mother used back in the 1940’s, 1950’s, and 1960’s. My cookbooks are a treasure I will pass down to my daughter. Thanks for sharing some of your favorites. 🫶

I love collecting cookbooks. I have about 500 or more. My laundry room is full of them. All mine are 70s on back. Some of mine are those free ones that came with other products.

I love it when books contain information about where they came from. I enjoy seeing how far a book has traveled, and I noticed that yours originated from my area, San Bernardino :) I have a cookbook that came from a bakery, and I love reading all the notes that the previous owner wrote next to the recipes. It feels like the previous owner is looking over my shoulder when I make the recipes.

i have a cook book that is dated 1878 the pages are delicate but such a delight to see. I get you for the love of vintage cook books! i don't like todays rush rush everything so simple use this gadget/appliance for fast cooking methods. i like the old ways of cooking slow and patience made from scratch gives the best flavors.

I have my grandma’s original Betty Crocker cookbook, stuffed with recipe clippings. The oldest cookbook in my collection is The White House Cookbook, originally published 1987 but I have a copyright 1926.

There was also another cookbook series by the Culinary Arts Institute called "The Encyclopedia Of Cooking" which was basically almost the entirety of the 1938 cookbook "The American Womans Cookbook". Came in 24 volumes. Don't know if the Cooking Magic series is related but it looks similar.

Good morning Kym! Love this video! I’m a collector of cookbooks as well! Though my vintage collection have mostly been given to me by family members. My dear mother in-law had a 1930’s cookbook that was geared towards the new housewife. She used that cookbook literally everyday. Yes, from the first day she began cooking in her very young years….until her last meal she prepared! I remember that meal vividly, because I was there with her! Sweet memories!

LOVE your collection!! I think the cooking magic and Mary Margaret McBride are the most interesting to me because they're individual mini cookbooks put together!! I wish they still made them that way!!! I don't have a favorite cookbook myself but I cherish the recipe container from my great great grandmother
