it’s very obvious this man was abused. He was struggling with alcohol and drugs abuse. He was vulnerable and she took advantage of this situation. Male domestic abuse is often overlooked by society. The idea that men can be victims is often laughed at or ignored.
She even said in a recording (paraphrased) "tell the world...youre a victim too of DV"
She is a disgusting excuse for a human.
I think the drug and alcohol abuse was because of the DV he was experiencing and as a way of coping.

Any narcissistic person goes for the people they can spot weakness in because they're easy targets, also because these people tend to be kind and humble. Which is even easier of a target for these people.

When did she have her plastic surgeries? Bet Johnny paid for all that and it's what her bruises look like if it's not make-up. Her cocaine and lifetime of alcoholism and history of rages and DV. She's not believable.
I witnessed my ex inflicting wounds upon herself while screaming, "everyone's going to see the bruises." They saw the bruises, indeed. I lost most of my friends and I haven't even considered dating anyone in almost 5 years. I'm still traumatized and I have no support network and almost lost my job as well. What Amber is doing isn't helping women at all.

If anything, I'm just glad he's bringing to light this behavior, the gas lighting & I wasn't alone in it; there are tons of people who DO recognize it. Dealing with such behavior made me doubt any/all faith I had in humanity & myself & that's saying something for how I've always lived my life - definitely brings you to your lowest. I pray for your continued healing and happiness, not everyone is like this
@@verah7372 Thank you! When I was going though this, Being a male victim was unheard of and I questioned my own sanity. A one sided story was all it took for people to instantly call me the villain. Doesn't matter the outcome of this case, I'm just glad is out there in the public eye. Hopefully it helps some people avoid what I went though. I hope you are healthy and well. As a retired police officer who's seen too many cases of domestic violence. This is a disgusting display to watch. There are real victims that have sustained such abuse that is sickening, this is the biggest farce I've ever seen. Her attorneys should be ashamed of themselves. Not one shred of evidence has been consistent with accurate injuries that occur during an assault of that level. This is insulting to real victims of D.V. SHAMEFUL!!!
From what I've seen of how DV is handled by police they love to ignore women doing it to men and almost always remove the man from the home even when it's clear they are the victim. There is always a presumption of guilt on the man committing the violence. Hell a lot of times where I am police actively help female abusers cover it up.
Not saying it's like that everywhere but I have no trust in police where I'm at in matters like this.
As a victim myself, i could also tell this was just poor acting on her behalf. She obviously did not invest in proper research for the role of her character. She's a bad actress!

I honestly just… I cannot wrap my mind around how EVIL someone has to be to do what that disgusting excuse of a woman, is doing to Johnny. I have noticed that every time she says, “I remember…..” it’s followed with a lie. So, when she says, “I remember” she’s REALLY saying, “I remember DOING this to Johnny, he wasn’t doing those things to me.” I feel really bad for her family. How EMBARRASSING! I would totally disown her if she was in my family. And her poor daughter. I am genuinely worried for that little girl. A.H. should NOT be a mother…. What she is doing right now proves that she is completely unhinged, irrational, and willing to do ANYTHING to save her own butt.

problem is she is exceptionally bad at acting and rather aggressive for her type of abuse though, that's a good thing for Johnny because her aggression and poor acting makes it easy to find where her lies can be picked apart and the physical evidence is there and tangible. Not so for most women of this type. My own mother is like this and there has been 5 lives lost, one scapegoat after another and people STILL fall for her preening self-inflated virtue signaling. As a child it can break your mind so very easily and if the abuser is less obvious about it than AH you might not even know why.

This woman was never physically abused by JD. I've been there, these pictures are pathetic. I've had broken bones, cuts, bruises, black eyes. When you are a woman and a man is beating you, you're not listening for the sound of someone's step or anything else, you're covering the important parts of your body to reduce the damage that's incoming. This woman makes a mockery of every woman that has lived this and had the courage to walk out of it.

@@takoen_taotaan Well she said she was standing on glass, and he had her on the kitchen counter which was ALSO covered in glass. How do you not get lacerations on your feet/back from that? I've cut by foot on very small shards of glass I missed when cleaning up glass that had broke on the floor. I can't imagine not getting cut if you're standing on what she seems to be describing as multiple glass objects that had been broken on the floor/ countertops.
When you are ACTUALLY abused, you do not describe the abuse the way she does. When you are punched, you don’t notice the carpet is dirty. She’s acting like she’s reading a novel. Not realistic at all. I was domestically abused for years. Went to court and everything. Had restraining orders, the whole nine. I’ve testified before and I’ll tell you I’ve never made a testimony like hers. I also have EXTENSIVE photos of every injury. ** I also wanna add that it is INCREDIBLY hard to sit in front of your abuser and testify. No matter how long it’s been. She’s making it seem way to easy for her. The constant back and forth with the emotions is just out of control.**

And when you were testifying and recounting the incidents of abuse, did you have a hard time looking directly at ppl while you were going through the details? I’ve never experienced DV or SA, but anytime I’m trying to retell details of hard events I’ve gone through, I am not able to look directly at the person I’m speaking to. I usually look at the ground, my hands, etc. I just keep thinking about this while watching her, bc she looks directly at the jury every time she speaks. Which is also which makes her so unbelievable IMO.
And bravo to you for getting out and getting your life back. I’m sure it takes an immense amount of strength and bravery to go through what you had to overcome. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Smart move by Johnny, he doesn't need to win the trial, just the court of public opinion. No matter what happens this will damage her career, removed from future roles, etc. Studios are not going to want to touch her because she is seen poorly in the public eye and that will just lose them money.

She was dragged, violated sexually, surrounded by broken glass and after all these altercations her only body injury she have photos of is her face!! Why you ask? She did makeup remember she described that as one of the many jobs she did when she first arrived in LA! One of many jobs!! So she knew how to use makeup to appear to have bruises! I think in one photo she showed a dark bruise on her arm. No photos of any other body areas!

She talks about Johnny trying to assault her sister, with a security guard present, there are some very important things left out. The moment he "grabbed her hair" the security guards would have been breaking it up. If all of that happened, why didn't she get a witness testimony from them? She's trying to paint this picture for the jury, but she has nothing that backs it up.
I agree, just fyi I’m pretty sure the bodyguard you mention is Jerry. He passed in 2019 conventiently for Amber, very unfortunate for Johnny not only in this trial of course.

She took lots of pictures of the “alleged” damages around her but what I want her to show are the pictures of HER CUTS & actual injuries she is trying to describe (very poorly if I may say so) As to why she can’t show any pictures of her cuts is because she NEVER had any injuries to show.
The James Corden show she looked flawless and the night before JD allegedly beat the crap out of her with chunky rings on. Not to mention if she really wanted evidence against him, if he had really sexually assaulted her with a bottle where she claims she bled from her vagina and beat her and held her down by the neck yet NO hospital or police report, no photos, NO EVIDENCE. I remember when I was put in jail because my girlfriend called the cops and said i had hit her because I was walking out the door after she punched me in the face several times with her rings on leaving deep scratches all over and then trying to punt my baby makers. I remember trying to tell the police what happened as I was slammed on the ground and put in cuffs while they told me I was a piece of shit for something I never did… It took years before she was caught finally doing it to someone else before anyone acknowledged what I was saying might be true. So bless you johnny depp I see thru this sadistic manipulative bs she puts out.

I can tell you right now she has never been abused. I am a victim of DV and to this day I can’t be in a room, no matter how big, with my abuser without shaking uncontrollably, sweating, and crying in hysterics. Also, if you get hit by someone with rings on, there are deep bruises, cuts, and swelling. The whole bottle thing, you will be in the hospital or at the doctor office after that because of the cuts from the rim of the bottle and infections . There is just so much she is saying and it’s not adding up. Her nonstop looking at the jury is just unsettling. When I had to talk to the police about my ex and what he did, I had a hard time looking at anyone because I was ashamed of what happened. She is not believable.

When I hear the father of my children's voice, I tense up, and my anxiety goes through the roof. I have had panic attacks. He didn't have my number for 2 years and I thought I had gotten better. I damn near had a heart attack when trying to handle medical stuff for my kids and they said they needed to speak to him to move forward (this is when he finally got me new number). I had to call him and was trying not to break down over the phone. He lives no where near me, and last year I had to have my friend on the line because I was scared of the reaction he was going to have to the Convo I had to have with him.. Amber can kiss my ass.

I wished that real victims could be in a room with her for 20 min so she can see the hurt and the pain that we all carry and what real victims look like. And make her listen to how she single-handedly mocked tons in tons of victims. And how she single-handedly ruined all the hard work and devotion that has been done to be able to be heard and believed. I would love for her to be able to see the backlash of actually triggering a victim’s PTSD.
Coming from someone that had gone through abuse (not domestic abuse I will clarify), this is not what you look like a day or a couple days, or even a few days after being punched in the face a few times. I am so angered by this woman that it just hurts me for the actually abused victims out there. I remember being punched in the face idk how many times and putting on makeup to take a family picture a week later and you can still see a swollen face with bruises all over. SHAME ON THIS FUCKEN WOMEN!

True and sorry to hear your suffering. I myself have had small things occur like being grabbed hard and left with bruises that lasted a while to a recent bad blood draw that left large purple bruise for more than a week
@@kandymahernandwhat no one mentions is how clear her eyes are after these horrific beatings that inc rings and several incidents of a broken nose. Not once in any photos she shows after an incident do we see any redness in the sclera part (white part) of her eyes. It really shows in the pics after the massive beating in Dec 2015. Look how bright her eyes are with zero swelling anywhere. That’s the one where besides the usual beatings this included Johnny supposedly dragging her across a metal grate in the floor while pulling chunks of hair out. Her scalp pic didn’t show any dried blood which you would expect to see after such an attack. Not to mention I couldn’t even tell where this “hole” in her scalp was. In all her pics that she says are taken several days apart she’s wearing what looks like one of Johnny’s white t-shirts. It’s the same one in every photo and you can tell b/c there is a small black stain around the collar. Even the pic where she is wearing a black jacket (standing in kitchen) she’s still wearing same dirty white t-shirt under jacket. What a joke. She just went way too far in her “incidents” plus she makes it sound like Johnny doesn’t get up any day without assaulting her and horrifically at that. Johnny is nearly 60 yrs olds; I highly doubt he has the ability to pull off such feats (if he was that kind of person which we know he’s not). She blew the case herself. After enjoying much of the public support for last 6 years all she had to do was say he was verbally abusive and slapped her around often. The jury may have bought that but these over the top stories with zero medical attention when she had the means to get easily are just not believable at all. I have to mention as a trauma RN for 40+ years with most spent in Neuro ICU it is not possible to do a “concussion check” over the phone. You have to do in person as you are evaluating the person neurologically. She loved saying that after these attacks but there is not one mention in any of the nurses monitoring them notes about doing a concussion check and that’s b/c it doesn’t exist. I was so hoping Camille would ask her what was involved in one of these checks. Bam she would have been screwed. There’s more but everyone here seems to be on the same page. So happy the jury saw the real AH; she is pure evil.

If someone is on top of you, screaming "I F***ing hate you!" and punching you repeatedly in a massive rage, you wouldn't have light bruising. You would be bloodied. You would have SEVERE bruising by a couple of days later due to a broken nose, if they did truly break your nose. Is this a joke to her? She is disgusting.

Am injury like he sustained on his finger that took his finger off for one he would've been bleeding all over the place not too mention the pain he would've felt trying to write in blood with his severed finger

Surprised she didn't say he threw her out a window and suffered a broken back and somehow got upstairs to go to sleep and when she woke up, he had bitten off all her toes but they grew back in like an hour or so and then he infused her with vinegar and red wine and roasted her at 350 for 2 hours but she managed to get out of the oven when he passed out from doing 50 dime bags of cocaine... But when he woke up he blew off her left ear, straight up BLEW IT OFF, with a Iraqi RPG...And I'm sure there's so much more that she can't remember...🙄🙄🙄

Her side did not turn over evidence. Therefore, there's no metadata as the date and origin of all of the evidence she has supplied since, ie photographs of injuries and I expect some recordings, cannot be time-stamped and could have been taken at any time.
The injuries do not match up to the violence she claims she experienced. Her photos of Johnny are just of him asleep, and mean nothing. Her photos of the home in Australia show no signs of the blood sustained by the injuries she claimed to have from broken glass in her feet.
No evidence. No blood. No medical evidence. Nothing.

Someone is in an abusive relationship with someone for several years. Starts out lovely for the first few, then turns progressively sour over time with cracks showing in how they really are. Often starts out with verbal abuse - accusations, belittling them, jealousy. It becomes obsessive. They make the person believe they _need_ them and that they are the “only one” for them. They start making them believe that they’re nothing without them in a twisted way.
It’s enough to break their partner down severely mentally, and it can happen to anyone. Then when the physical abuse starts in, it becomes even more to where they feel trapped.
So, no, it’s not just something one can just walk away from so easily by suddenly not wanting to put up with it. It’s a process. When the partner does finally try to get away, or they finally do break free … the abuser snaps and starts with life ruination tactics as some sort of revenge for “hurting” them and ending their relationship. They make them the bad guy. Sound familiar?

I think that many of the interactions she describes, she actually flip-flops the roles & when she describes what Johnny did/said- it’s actually what SHE did/said and vice-versa. Helps her to remember & tell the story but also explains why at times, she “can’t remember “ or “I don’t know…”. A family member had a similar experience in court and even though she KNEW we knew the truth, she described his actions as her own and her actions as his. Our jaws dropped in disbelief. What she didn’t know was they had evidence that proved her deception. The judge was NOT happy! Hard when an honest person with integrity is up against a person without morals or a conscience in court. They will say or do anything without shame, guilt and instead feel justified. Like a game, they have to control & win to feed a sense of superiority. They need to enforce penalties for perjury in civil suits. Verbal spankings from a judge don’t phase these type of people

I'm a mom of 3 married going on 11 years and before being married was in a bad relationship where I became a victim of dv. When I would try to leave he would jump onto the hood of my car or take my keys if that didn't work he would threaten to end his life and tell me it would be my fault. One day I left him and played it off as everything was OK and never looked back aside from the emotional trauma he has caused me. I'm lucky now to have a loving husband and 3 wonderful children. ❤

I worked in law enforcement for over thirty five years. You get a good feel for people and their reactions, body language, etc... when you deal with all types on a daily basis. In my professional opinion, Amber isn't being honest.
The allegations she makes against Johnny Depp don't add up when you connect the dots, she claims he "pummeled" her repeatedly and yet she only has photos of minor injuries (all of which could easily have been self-inflicted).
She has no witnesses who can verify her claims of abuse, a single expert witness who has been specifically hired/paid to refute the testimony of Depp's expert witness (standard operating procedure in civil and criminal cases) and her demeanor exhibits none of the personality traits associated with domestic violence or having been victim of a physical assault.

No worries, since she never actually lost consciousness. Nor was she actually injured, which is another reason for not calling a nurse. Also, I've hit my head and passed out quite a few times, only been diagnosed with a concussion once. Sooo, the diagnosis doesn't work quite like that. They're also looking at pupils and such.

So many times she described how she was "pummeled" in the facial region by Depp (who has multiple rings on at nearly all times, making it basically a brass/metal knuckle) and yet the worst I have seen is what could be bruising at best. No swelling, cuts, disfiguration etc. Idk what her definition of being "pummeled" is, but being pummeled by a brass knuckle in the face at best you need to see a doctor for possible brain trauma, cracked bones and stitching. At worst a whole frontal facial surgery to even have some semblance of looking human. But the "few" times she injured Depp, you can easily see swelling and other damages as well as a finger being severed. Funny how she's apparently made of adamantium as a full pummeling only lead to some possible discoloration lol
At the least she would have seen a doctor at least once. I was hit "one" time by a man, it knocked me out, I had two black eyes, and one was completely closed from swelling (he weighed 145 lbs.) No way did JD beat her over and over. It's not surprising that so many victims of DV don't believe AH.

You need to recall JD’s testimony about how he injured his finger and how he described the drops of blood. Now look at the blood on the floors and the bed and the couch. It looks exactly like blood drops from his finger. Not a massacre with bloody feet and bottle rape.
If you listen to the audio recording on the day she cut his finger there is a lot of blood. The nurse comments on the amount of blood all over the place . 2 setees are covered in blood.
She smashed the bones in his finger.
His security guard refers to AH as the devil. He also says she has scratches on her arm which she did herself.
They talk about her being manipulative and taking Coke while on antipsychotic drugs. They send her back to LA to her shrink and support system.
She admits to doing it all on the tape.

blood does not dry up like that, especially when you consider the different shades of "blood" all over the house when they supposedly happened within an hour of each other. No chance in hell would the blood on the mirror be black while the supposed blood on the couch and bed would be bright red, even if these happened a day apart (which they did not) blood takes weeks to get that dark. Cannot wait until the forensic scientists jump in on this and show this is a pathetic attempt at staging a crime scene and they've seen better work done by teenagers. Ambers is not as smart as she portrays herself to be, obviously, and she should be charged for this as it shows the malice intent she put into destroying this mans reputation.
Indeed so! My grandpa fell and accidentally hit his head on the floor of the rooftop house. Luckily he survived that fall sustained injury. But the blood was still there from where he bled himself even after a few days had passed, it was when I visited him prior after he got home from a hospital from getting stiched.

Also the fact is also that the Judge is probably allowing Amber and her team to speak so they cant have any chance to appeal against the court for "being bias towards her side of the story and that this court is not accountable for this case". Lastly, I think JD's team is really allowing this to go on because the truth and the WHOLE truth will come out the longer this case goes on, even though its unfortunate to sit through all these lies. The court basically knows but also the public will know the whole story and also the lies.

As a stylist, I can tell you that her hair appears to have been cut off not pulled out of her scalp. If you look at the short hairs and the ends of them, they have a blunt edge which indicates that shears were used to cut (✂️) the hair. If it had been pulled out of her head, the strands would be longer and would still have the hair bulb (follicle) attached, remember, she said he pulled it from her scalp. Also, depending on the force that they were pulled out, they would have caused contusions (hematoma) on the scalp... and the likelihood that a stylist would have done her hair where puss and bruising on the scalp was apparent, they would refuse the service or should refuse the service and recommend the client be seen by a physician before service can be resumed. It's what we call a contraindication. So I seriously doubt that she had any injuries to her scalp, and if I recall, her nurse said that she did not see any hematoma present on her scalp after examination that was consistent with her claim. Once again, the story that she's telling appears to be fabricated.

I listen to real victims in my profession. First, I’ve never heard a woman say after being punched “ it didn’t hurt” especially multiple times with rings. Also, they never say “ I remember “ I think that’s Amber recalling the movie script in her head.
The only thing I think is truthful but not in the way she claims…is the headbutt. Johnny was trying to restrain her and they bumped heads. Notice she said “it’s the only time I felt the pain”.

What really makes her hard to believe is that she NEVER sought emergency medical attention after any of these "incidents". As one lawyer stated who is evaluating the case said, the standard might be set to define abuse as any kind of abuse, to include emotional etc. and there needs to be only one incident. This might make the case hard to win for him. 100 percent of the jury must judge in Johnnys favor on at least one of the 3 counts for him to win : there was sexual abuse as per the title of the op Ed, there was abuse, and lastly the op Ed article caused defamation which resulted in significant lose of income. If I had been a juror looking at these photos as AH describes them, I would have wondered if we were being inadvertently shown the wrong pictures. “Excuse me, Judge A., but I just want to clarify that we are being shown the same photographs as Ms. Heard because her descriptions do not match the photos we’ve been shown. And are they really arguing that you can flawlessly cover up 2 black eyes, a broken nose & busted lip with ice and makeup?
This is sad to see. I hardly know anything about this case but I sense that she is lying about nearly everything. A family member of mine was almost killed by their spouse and when talking with them about what happened they could not only clearly recall what transpired but were so emotionally charged when recounting the events that they could barely speak. I have witnessed first hand the aftermath of domestic violence and this doesn’t look anything like it.

This is disgusting. I was in a violent relationship and i had my jaw broken, my eyesocket damaged, multiple dentist problems and i was stabbed in the leg. Just the way i looked terrifies me now, i was black and blue all over some were yellow or purple in diffrent stages of healing. I had scars of sigaret burns, i was so afraid i wouldn't even dare to ask him an random qustion let alone hit or insult him. There was no sorry or walking away of it. I just lay there trying not to breath to heavy even and when the hitting begun i just rolled up with arms over my neck and face and legs to my belly. I didnt escape like many real heros i just got "lucky" that he was arrested for other things and i was able to finally get a room for myself and i (after like 10 prison visits) just cut my sim and never looked back. Now its a little of 10 years later but i will never forget, sometimes i just think about it and cry but have to pick myself up and keep going

I think that's what has truly upset so many people who have suffered real abuse. You can't be assaulted by someone as bad as she is claiming and walk away with no bruises, no broken bones, things that you don't even know how the injury happened but it's there. It just hurts people who have dealt with d/v and abuse. I'm sorry you went through such awful things and hope you are healing. It's a hard thing to walk away. People who haven't gone through it don't realize how hard it is to get out of a relationship like this because it forms a trauma bond and that is one of the most powerful bonds that can exist as strange as it seems. Actually in this case you can see repeatedly that Johnny Depp tried to protect Amber for the longest time even though he was the one who needed the protection. In any case I'm glad to hear you got away from that man regardless of how it happened. ❤

Also, as a nursing student I can say that a “concussion assessment “ is NOT something you can do over the telephone. Amber wouldn’t had been able to give herself an assessment. You need some to literally shine a pen light in your eyes in a few different ways to check for reaction, dilation, and size. Amber wouldn’t of been able to perform her own concussion assessment.

And yes, if someone lies under oath they could go to jail however you have to clearly proof that they were lying under oath.

I've said exactly that before. She's obsessed with him. He finally couldn't take anymore. They divorced, she couldn't get over the fact that he was out and didn't want anything to do with him. The recording is public. You can hear 2 personalities from Amber, she's apologizing for hospitalizing Johnny, going from crying hysterically to being completely neutral. The staff is trying to handle the situation, cleaning up, insinuating she's a psychotic lunatic lol and figuring out how what to do to make sure she doesn't come close to Johnny.
Johnny's testimony completely aligns with the recording and the photos. Amber is claiming assaults that would cause severe injuries, yet it is never shown in photographs in the following days nor is it even brought up in the hours long recording between staff (whom were not aware of being recorded). It's funny that Amber stomps around in the recording (she gets upset like a child and stomps away at one point in the recording), didn't she walk around on glass? Stepping on glass is incredibly dangerous and damaging, how is she walking full speed, where was the hours spent making sure there was no glass residue in feet let alone hospital visit that's 150% necessary? Why are there no indications nor witnesses testifying anything that aligns with her testimony?
I highly recommend watching all of "Incredibly Average"s videos. If you think this trial is bad for Amber, watch all evidence (including alot not shown in this trial) completely destroy Amber's allegations. The recording talked about is also uploaded on this channel.

I would not be shocked if she is diagnosed with Clinical Bipolar or even DID, as she has no recollection between her separate states.. it seems she has a violent alter and a passive alter..
if the borderline perspective and the childhood abuse is accurate...
it leave room for psychosis and that in correlation with the trauma could lead to her seeing things of the past. in our therapy we called it brain cinemax. that can have different severities and drug use can lead to more severe psychisis, mixed reality situations, her hazy memory would make sense as well as the disconnection to the scene.
that is just a possibility.
i personally would notice redflags.. that tell me my memory is compromised. for example coverage that i have no recollection or consideration about. i am highly analytical tx to surviving some shit.

Wow, Amber has managed to make everything in her life into an audition/screen play, and if anyone ever hit, struck, slapped, or manhandled her like all the things injuries that she’s manages to describe in detail, and the abilities of her makeup artist is next to miracle work being able to create a simulated a fake injury that she also manages to cover up with thick makeup, which we learned to be futuristic make up that hasn’t been invented yet…Amber is a real piece of work.
The long recording has been posted by someone else on TH-cam. You can hear all his people who came when he texted the doc about his finger. You can hear her screaming how sorry she is about hurting him. You can hear his employees saying she’s out of control, and they need someone to fly with her to LA because she was unstable. THEN - at the end, right before they leave the house you can hear her go to the phone and it sounds like she’d taped it under a piece of furniture or something. She went right to it and removed it. It was her recording. Also on the recording she’s saying she doesn’t want to leave because she injured him & she was afraid he was going to leave her. His people had to convince her to leave. She’s such a fucking liar.

I was raped as a child and was never taken to the hospital, was talked out of reporting it because “Youd have to have a long trial where they’ll try to blame you or say you lied”. Now as an adult of 24 I’ve been assaulted by several men, usually in my sleep and I’d wake up. It took me until last year to be able to get a Pap/downstairs exam. This type of stuff is WHY women that actually are victimized don’t feel they can come forward

Personally, when I talk about a traumatic story, although I might try to talk about it in a positive way trying to show that it didn’t affect me, I’ll always avoid eye contact, even when is someone I love and trust. Because it feels a little embarrassing. It surprises me how much she is able to look around the room, to the jury, to the attorneys.

same. i became personally a much angrier person after my incident. but same as you...whenever i speak of it, despite trying to be succinct in my retellings i never look at anyone. i focus on a single spot away from them. theres embarrassment there, like you said, but i think also if i see them when im retelling the incident it makes it harder to dissociate myself from the event. So interesting that her friends and family were always around. JD allowed her friends and family to live in his places rent free to support her....
