Our humble beginnings started with our President, Gordy Kautz in 1973 and he still oversees our operations. As green initiatives and sustainability goals became more prevalent, Gordy had the foresight to invest in green initiatives. Because of his forward-thinking, we are certified in Green Vegetative Roof Systems and Solar Electric Energy systems. In 2008, we founded KC Green Energy which specializes in installing and designing solar electric roof or ground mount systems for commercial, agricultural and residential locations. Our roofing and general construction experience have been paramount to our solar success.
