I am lucky to have mine for 5 years now , it’s an amazing bike to ride, smile everytime. I luckily have an RD and a TZR, I would choose the CB 125 T everytime

I loved my old 125 twin, it would do 85mph with a pillion no problem.

This was a “proper” 125 bike, I had one and for a 125 it felt like a big bike. That looks like a good project for somebody.

The CB125T was faster (85 MPH) in Bike Magazine's MIRA top speed test than the CB250T Dream & CB250N Super Dream (83 MPH).
It also handled far better too!!

Mine was brilliant, 17bhp and held 80mph comfortably on the duel carriageway. Pretty bike, handled beautifully and revved freely right up to the red line of 12, 000 rpm, though it had a pretty awful front cable disk brake and balancing the carbs was always fiddly when servicing.

@@roberthardy3090 Are you sure it had 17 HP? I looked it up in several sources and they mention from 14 to 15 HP. Nice little bike anyway. In fact, I am planning to get one. Currently I ride one of the lousy Chinese copies - build quality is terrifyingly poor.

@@TheDoodoosh At least 17 HP! These things reved like crazy up to 13'000 revs and shook out the fillings of your teeth. Long trips were tiring but these small bike were quick and fast even for today's standards. In fact they were faster than today's one. They were build as rivals to the then fastest 125cc, the Zündapp KS 125 which had at least 18 hp from a water-cooled two-stroke. Well, in fact there were even much faster ones, coming from Italy, with 30 go or so, but theese don't count since you never were shure to come back with the bike from a tour. Generally, pistons blocked and the trip was over.
