- So I've been using the pixel 8 pro for almost a year now and we know the pixel 9 series is just around the corner. So I want to dive in and talk about my long-term experience with this device.
When they share my experiences, my concerns and it's everything. I love about the latest pixel product from Google. So sit back, relax and take a view of my long-term pixel 8 pro review
..... Damn it that wasn't supposed to rhyme

I've had my Pixel 8 Pro since it dropped and I must say I'm very happy. It's been a great phone since day one. No overheating issues or Anything like that.and it does everything I need to do. Looking forward to the pixel 9 Pro I've always been into large phones but 6.1 in a screen is going to be a good change of pace and Can't wait. Going to give my wife this one and upgrade Right now I'm using this as my side piece and my S24 plus as my daily driver. Thanks for the video keep up the good work.
Oh man, you're nicer than I am. I gave my girl a Pixel 7A lol and kept the 8 Pro for myself 😂 but I definitely appreciate it. The s24 ultra was tempting too. I almost bought that when it came out
I'm planning to get the 9pro xl as my second phone. I have the 15pro max too. Can you tell me if you've experienced any other issues like GPS maps lag or scrolling? Or any hick ups or slow downs? Does it get really warm when gaming? I just want to avoid these issues. And how's the battery life
@Conannnnn So for me I don't any GPS or network issues, but I also live in an area where I have extremely good service so I'm never affected by GPS or network issues, I will say my pixel 8 series phones do seem to be an improvement over my six pros modem.
Also yes gaming will make the phone warm up but I never really had anything overheat, but tensor G3 is a warmer processor... I will say wait till reviews drop for the pixel 9 series as they're rumored to have an improved modem and I think I read somewhere that there's going to have new cooling, but none of this is confirmed yet until Google officially announces the product. If it's true, we may see better thermals and power efficiency... So let's keep our fingers crossed!@@Conannnnn
@@EverydayTechSJB thanks my friend. I have subbed.
I have a pixel 6 Pro and honestly it screams and does everything I need it to do. I stumbled across his channel by accident but I like this guy. He's no bullshit regular everyday user. I'm not even willing to upgrade for a while because this phone still kicks ass. I mean really how fast do you need a phone to go?
@@donthompson567 and I appreciate the kind words. And I fully agree my 6 Pro wasn't a slouch and my 8 pro is even faster! Yeah some phones may have better benchmark scores but in everyday usage these things fly!
Got mine yesterday for $430 and I'm loving it
I like your style, man. Subbed.
Loving my Pixel 8 pro
Hell yea!
First time coming across your TH-cam today. First video watched. What I can say, is "Respect" a 100 percent I can fully respect and admire a loyal fan, I've never really met someone into pixels and rocking with it through the good and bad/ups and downs i definitely will be checking out your other videos about pixels if you drop them. Again I always respect loyalty. And you def showed it in this video. You dont seem to care much for the hype of Apple or Samsung. And im a samsung user. But you made me very interested in trying pixel. Appreciate it.
Greatly appreciate, I definitely have an affinity for pixels, ever since the Nexus devices of the past! Samsung and Apple are great but we all have some brands that just fit our lives! Welcome to the channel and thanks so much!
@@EverydayTechSJB of course man. Keep rocking those pixels. 💪🏼🎯
Great video! I have a 15 pro max and a pixel 8 pro and can never seem to pick one to keep so I can sell other instead of having two plans both sides are good on certain things but also means I’m not stuck in one ecosystem technically lol
Hell yeah! I'm all about playing in both ecosystems! I need some new devices myself, the 15 pro max seems so good but I don't know if I could fully leave pixels as well lol
Got mine 2 weeks ago, padi 810$ for the 256GB version. In lovee with it!!
I appreciate you 😊
Hey you're the one that took the time to watch the video, I appreciate YOU!
Have you ever try Oppo/realme/Huawei mobile phones?
Sporadically sadly they aren't as available in the US, which is unfortunate because Huawei was doing amazing things before they essentially got banned here, Oppo is one brand I definitely want to get my hands on as well!
What about Android 15 Beta
I haven't really compiled my views on Android 15 yet but it is on my pixel 8 Pro and it's running very well. I actually should have mentioned that but the truth is I forget that I'm on beta with how smooth Android 15 is running
🎉🎉🎉🎉 awesome job
Appreciate it!
good vid
Thank you very much!
And the pixel 9 pro will be just as weak
troll
@@KianFloppa that was just hurtful lol.
I don't understand it's more than powerful enough for day to day work and life. What do you want it to do turn into hulk?
@@Conannnnn it's about future proof. 7yrs right. These weak chips will get to the point where they are too weak for ai updates down the line.
@@PerryHacker not really most people don't keep their phones for more than 3 years anyways and it will perfectly run AI for 3 years minimum otherwise Google wouldn't be advertising such a thing, that would be false advertising and they can get into trouble when it involves consumers. Even 4-5 years I think it will be more than capable enough. It's a weaker chip compared to it's competition but it doesn't mean the chip is weak. It's raking in respectable scores on geek bench and the pixel 9 will improve on those modem and hest desspiation and connectivity etc but unless you're a hardcore gamer you'll be more than fine. I understand not everyone has the luxury to buy a games console but a phone is never meant to be for those high fps gaming anyways it just destroys the battery quicker and will need replacing quick.
