I'm here weeping as I have just finished this... the Lord is perfecting my faith tril after trial, disease, divorce, near death accidents loss of career, and I have said he is faithful. I thought my faith was strong, but thos absolutely incredible woman endured so much beyond what I can imagine. Lord thank you for the grace and mercy you have shown to those who suffer for you sake.
I think of how good God is that he loves me even though I am a coward and weakling in my faith when compared to this woman. Thank you so much for sharing this!

If you truly have the Lord Jesus as your Savior and King, you DO have what it takes to endure what Darlene did and more. Never doubt the power of the Holy Spirit or the Peace that passes all understanding -- it makes the mousiest person in to the fiercest lion when the need arises.

A correction, from listening that she was not a missionary to PNG, but to Papua province or West Irian in the Eastern most part of Indonesia. I am a PNGean, our national language is English, not Indonesian. We were colonized by England.
I have known, and known of, women missionaries throughout my many years on this earth. One was a retired missionary to the Phillipines who was a treacher in Bible school. Another was a missionary to Nigeria, great women of God.
I have never cried so much in my life, *except with the (Tom sawyer-Becky Thatcher part) What an amazing woman and testimony! What an inspiration she is to us all. I wish I had 1/4 of her Faith. God Bless her soul.
Her faith does seem unattainable, but as Christians it is important to remember that anything, and I mean ANYTHING, is possible through God. Pray for her faith and God will answer you. He wants us Christians to strive for a stronger faith and yearn for God's heart. And this begins when you're on your knees.
Through divorce through drug addiction and every type of vice u can al.ost think of ,,,THIS JESUS IS GOD AND MADE A WAY FOR ME AND MY TWIN BRO AND SAVED US IN THE DEPTHS OF THE PIT OF LOS ANGELES.
