God bless her..I used to go to a girls bible group called Crusaders in Bromley in the Uk..only small groups of girls but I never ever ever forgot the impact Helen coming to speak to us had..i think she came to speak a few times..she could have been speaking to thousands but she chose to spend some Sunday afternoons with us.I have since read her book..I Became a Christian during a crusader camp in 1975..what an amazing v v humble woman of God..Thankyou Helen..God bless you so much..im now 59! Sarah, in 1975 you were but a young girl yet you became a follower of Christ. How wonderful! I turned 60 last month and in '75 I was still playing with dolls. It wasn't until '85 that I turned my gaze toward the God of heaven n cried out to Him. Yeshua (Jesus) is so very merciful. ❤
What a life! She counted all suffering not worthy to what Christ did for us.
May God continue to bless you Ms. Helen with health, his merciful favor keep shining on you precious lady!!! I have been suffering for over 20 years with heart issues. I've had 4 openheart surgeries, mirror strokes and 2 brain hemmhorages and I just realized through all of this that I have been asking the wrong question.Although I have never ask God why but he has revealed himself to me in a way that I can't begin to explain when he covered my body with his sweet loving peaceful presence in a way that I have never experienced it before and only a few times since then when I asked him to reveal himself to me so that I could experience that peace again.... I share my "story" about what God has done for me in my life even every opportunity I have and I am constantly looking for those few moments to share how God brought peace to my life...

THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age which God saves man from the destruction of this old world"
Almighty God said
ALL PEOPLE NEED to UNDERSTAND the PURPOSES of My WORK on EARTH, that is, what I WANT to ACHIEVE in the END and to what degree I must ACHIEVE this WORK BEFORE it becomes COMPLETE. If after WALKING WITH Me until this DAY, PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND what My WORK is about, isn't their WALKING with Me in vain? If PEOPLE OBEY Me, they must KNOW My WILL. 🙏
I have been working on earth for thousands of years, and to this day, I still do My work in this way. Although My WORK CONTAINS many PROJECTS, the PURPOSE of the WORK remains UNCHANGED; for example, even though I AM FULL of JUDGMENT and CHASTISEMENT of man, what I do is STILL for the SAKE of SAVING him, and for the SAKE of better PROPAGATION of My GOSPEL and further EXPANSION of My WORK in ALL COUNTRIES GENTILE the MOMENT man was made PERFECT. ☀️
So today, at a time when many people have long since fallen deeply into disappointment, I am still continuing My work, continuing the work I must do to JUDGE and PUNISH MAN. To those of the truth that man is already full of what I say, and he has no desire to interfere with My work, I still carry out My duty, because the PURPOSE of My WORK REMAINS UNCHANGED, and My ORIGINAL PLAN WILL NOT BE DESTROYED . ☀️
The purpose of My JUDGMENT is to GRANT--ENABLE PEOPLE to be better at OBEYING Me, and the purpose of My PUNISHMENT is to allow PEOPLE to CHANGE more effectively. ☀️
Although what I do is for the sake of My rule, I have never done anything that does not benefit people, because I want to make all the nations outside of Israel as obedient as the Israelites, and make them true man, so that I would have a hold on the lands outside of Israel.
This is My RULE; this is the WORK I FULFILL among the GENTILE NATIONS. Even today, many people still do not UNDERSTAND My GOVERNMENT, because they have NO INTEREST in these THINGS, but only CARE about their OWN FUTURES and DESTINY. ☀️
No matter what I say, people still don't care about the work I do, instead focusing only on their desired ends. If things continue in this way, how will My work be expanded?
HOW WILL My GOSPEL be SPREAD THROUGHOUT the WORLD? ☀️
You must know that when My work expands, I will scatter you, and I will strike you, as Jehovah struck every tribe of Israel. ALL of this WILL be DONE to SPREAD My GOSPEL THROUGHOUT the EARTH, so that it REACHES the GENTLE NATIONS, so that My NAME will be GLORIFIED by BOTH ADULTS and CHILDREN, and the HOLY NAME will be GLORIFIED by the MOUTH of PEOPLE from ALL TRIBES and COUNTRIES. 🙏
This is so that in this LAST AGE, My NAME will be glorified among the GENTILE NATIONS, so that the GENTILES WILL SEE My WORKS and they WILL CALL Me ALMIGHTY over ALL because of My WORKS, and so that My WORDS can be FULFILLED in as SOON as POSSIBLE. I WILL MAKE ALL PEOPLE KNOW that I AM NOT ONLY the GOD of the ISRAELITES, BUT ALSO the GOD of ALL the GENTILE NATIONS, EVEN the ONES I CURSED. 🙏

The kingdom He brought down and built in the worthy holy place in the highest in the sky and when all the humanity He created in the universe was occupied by it and it was engraved in His holy name and owned by His disposition "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD" 💐 this is the fulfillment of (Mat. 16:18) The Lord Jesus said, "And I say to you, Peter, on top of this eunuch I will build my Church, which will not prevail against him even the fear of death.". ... and fulfillment of "The Letter to the Church in Philadelphia" (Rev. 3:7-13). ... and fulfillment of "The New Jerusalem"💫 "The Spirit covered me, and the angel led me to the top of a very high mountain. I had never heard of Helen before. She may be in her mid eighties but her mind is clear as a bell. Suffering for Messiah. That is not a message we hear much in churches today. She said she was privileged to share in Jesus' sufferings. 🙏

What Helen sent through and her understanding of it is called "REDEMPTIVE SUFFERING!"
The mother of my first boyfriend at university gave me this book for Christmas in 1975. A lovely, godly lady. We broke up but this book helped me look to Jesus in moments of crisis in my life. And the story of the dolly and the hot water bottle? Truly our God is omnipresent and the creator of time! That parcel had been on its way long before the prayer was prayed by the little girl. The greatest gift we possess and our dearest treasure is the Lord Jesus and we go to Him for who He is. Praise Him!

I worked in my county's hospital. A lot of sad abusive situations came through.

I had demons imparted to me when I was a s*x slave back in 1975. It was instantaneous. Age 9, male, my mind thereafter only thought of, and sought out, what I was taught. It was 24/7 for 38 years. Pure depravity constantly dominated my thoughts and actions. Utterly destroyed my life in so many ways. That was spiritual. 10 years ago, delivered from a blackness I can not describe. I have very recently experienced the trueness that God hears me as I slobber in my screams and floor poundings. And now, watching these various youtube videos of older female leaders speak of suffering, I have finally opened my bible after these 10 years of being delivered from hell. Three days ago was my first real experience of reading His Word and it was alive. I was more than amazed. 2 Cor 5:17 was the only scripture I held onto for the 10 years. Philippians 4:7 was the moment of amazement 3 days ago. My journey of seeking God and trusting Him has now begun.
Though this was uploaded Feb this year, this dear saint went home to Paradise Dec 2016. Grateful to see her and hear her testimony. And hearing from the Lord to be thankful for the privilege of being trusted to go through the suffering experience by faith, without knowing why.
Te:comment: don’t know if you’ll see this but nobody that dies today goes straight to heaven, they go to their rest > meaning they go down to their grave until the Good Lord comes to wake each person up from their sound sleep. Time doesn’t matter when you’re soundly asleep in your grave. Ecclesiastical 9:5 + 6 explains it perfectly/clearly! You can’t make an error here, Jesus Christ himself says this re: death. He should know & he’s got the keys 🔑 to open the graves up.

It was wonderful hearing Helen's story. I started a mission to send blankets for children in orphanages in Eastern Europe 23 years ago in New Zealand. Now we now sent over 160,000 knitted blankets and well over a million other items. I have been all over New Zealand sharing about Operation Cover Up. Always finishing with The Hot Water Bottle Story. It has truly touched SO many people. I wrote a book The Warmth of Love which is a heartwarming and (I am told amusing) Kiwi story. The whole mission has been through the leading and enabling of the Lord. It has brought a real sense of purpose to all those who have been involved. I thank God for His enabling through difficult circumstances. I wasn't a knitter, not good at bookwork and not in good health BUT God!❤

Hearing Helen Roseveare at Urbana '76 was a life changing moment.
She is truly amazing and a modern 'new testament Paul', may God increase my faith and love for Him to that level.

She reminds me of Corrie Ten Boom - similar stories of the Lord in the midst of terrible suffering. Many her memory be blessed. She's amazing for Jesus❤
Four years ago we found that our daughter had been molested for years by a friend/employee so close that he was almost like family. This wasn't one incident, or two, but years of fear and abuse for her. This came on top of many other sufferings we and she had already faced in life. (The man was arrested and later died in jail.) What happened to our daughter has led to serious psychological and physical problems, and her distrust of God and Christianity in general. I'm not the Christian this lady is. While I still hang onto my faith, the logical questions still haunt me at times, "Where was God?" and "Why did God let this happen when He could have shown us what was going on at any time?" There is one thing for sure: the Christian life is no guarantee that life won't descend into complete gut-wrenching Hell at times, and that you won't find yourself lying on the floor, screaming and crying, or shocked into numbness or suffering long-term PTSD or dissociation. I'm not sure much of modern Protestantism really prepares emotionally or spiritually for horror and deep suffering and that fact that sometimes God can and does act in inexplicable and even seemingly illogical ways.
I know well that gut wrenching hell you speak of but I would say to you in your faith find a place of peace in your heart that simply trusts God and just accepts those unanswered questions for which in this lifetime may never be revealed.
Never allow your pain to turn you away from God. To have him + all our trauma is far preferable to the alternative. I wish you healing and God's peace.
Jesus bless my sweet sister in Christ and her precious daughter. Set them free from this anguish that the enemy has snuck in and brought. We are so grateful that what the enemy meant for evil, You turn around for good.
My sister, I think sometimes, we forget that just as Mighty God exists, we also have an adversary, Satan, that uses people to do evil acts. But what makes God so good, is that He paid a high price (suffered brutality on the cross and gave his own life), and overcame death, so that we could be set free from all that we've done wrong AND all that has been done TO us. Continue to pray for your daughter, that God would reveal Himself to her. I will also be praying. God bless you.

Satan's aim is to dishonor God, to make Him seem untrustworthy in our eyes. He wants to prove God not to be good.
A powerful scripture is Luke 22: 31,32.
“Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.”
Jesus is all the way interceding for us with the Father to hold us fast. When we eventually get through the dark valley we can again strengthen/encourage others going through it.
Ps 23. "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
And if the path is too dark and perilous for the lamb to find its way, the good shepherd will pick it up and carry it on his shoulder
Imagine the picture of the lamb on the shepherd's shoulder ... it's beating, fearful little heart is right against the ear of the shepherd!!!

God lets us go through experiences to comfort others with the comfort we were comforted with. I remember Helen coming to speak in my church. I loved how she told of standing at the bus stop outside the hospital. A lady came there and she prayed that the Lord would give her an opening to speak to this woman. She looked up and saw a billboard advertising cigarettes. She said, O that makes me so angry. I’m a doctor and I see the harm that cigarettes do. The woman said, through her tears, I’ve just been told I have cancer of the lung and I’m a smoker. Helen stayed on that bus when it came, right to the other woman’s stop, witnessing to her and had the joy of leading her to the Lord. Lovely to see her just as enthusiastic now. May the Lord continue to use her to be a blessing to others.

I did not realize she had survived. I had read a short excerpt years ago about her, in which she was heading into what seemed like certain death. Her faith in the face of death had a great impact on me, and inspired me greatly. I'm so glad to hear the rest of the story.

I discovered her a couple of years ago. She wrote some books called Living Holiness; Living Sacrifice and a few more that were like those I hadn't read since a teen in the late 70s when The Hiding Place and stories of both real commitment to Christ & the the suffering of Eastern European Christians laid out the reality of commitment to Christ. We really need more strong Christians like this today.

I became born again 28 years ago and thought I had been through some tough times until i watched this, now i realise after coming across this video ( not by coincidence ) its time to live for Jesus Christ who died the most agonising death to save sinners and reconcile sinners back to the Father.

"Can you still trust Me, even if I do not tell you why?" Wow. What a powerful gentle encouraging testimony. At the back of my mind, I always had a question (why God healed some but bypassed us when it came to our child (who is with Him now). We prayed so hard. So Dr Helen's words are like balm to my soul although I wish she didn't have to go through all that suffering. May everyone here and Dr Helen be richly blessed. One day we will all get our answers and even if we don't, it doesn't matter because we shall be with Jesus then and our loved ones (and probably bump into one another in His House ❤).

Wow. What a moving interview with an interviewer from Heaven. Asking short questions, adding notes of essence and giving Helen all the possible space to share her story. A real jem of an interview. Thank you. I am not Christian, enjoyed it all the same. Faith is faith regardless of the one we place it on. It's pure energy of Love. Needless to say, Jesus was Jewish, as we all know, and his heart was a Heart of Light and Love.
Not the same "Jewish" as in the modern world, not even the same colour! The Bible is clear that we are to preach to the Jew first and then the Gentile, which is why all these British Missionaries, like Helen Roseveare, were all sent by God to Africa.
