I kinda prayed something similar with a cigarette addiction that just seemed impossible. I also started doubting is He real is He good. Prayed and asked Him to free me from the cigarettes and next morning i woke up and it just left me . No cravings no thoughts of smoking, so God does hear our prayers :)

What a conviction I’m Getting from listening how the lady who obeyed gods voice essentially allowed The spirit to touch and heal a woman and her family . Makes me Convicted to not get nervous or shy in front of strangers when he speaks to me
I need His saving in this way. I'm bedbound, with chronic fatigue syndrome and so many other diagnoses , so much trauma, no family help and no idea how I'm going to make it out of the mountains I'm facing alive. My health already is so low due to stress that my agency caregiver has to feed me and my body doesn't tolerate much of the food or chewing. And since my husband left after my diagnosis and i can't afford my bills, plus he wants out of the marriage because he "wants a wife, not a patient" i am in such a position to have nowhere to live but can't even sit up, tollgate light, sounds, smells. The stress may kill me. Please pray please please please. I need a miracle. I have been crying out for over a year but no healing yet. Have actually gotten sicker

I pray my son will get a miracle healing from GOD...his name is Jack ..please pray for his miraculous healing...jack fell off a roof September 15 last month..now he is paralyzed from the waist down at 39 years old..jack is in atlanta at shepherds rehab...the doctor says he severed his lower spine and will never walk again..but i believe in Jesus and i claim his healing..he will get up and walk again in the name of Jesus..
You're 1 of the lucky ones, he doesn't heal everyone, 10 years & I still haven't been healed of a painful chronic condition, with all it's limitations, frustrations + heart break, just a fractured life, hopes & dreams. He wants to, he heals the sick because he loves us. The enemy wants you to lose hope and the longer you go being sick the less hope you have. Jesus didn’t just die to save us he also died to heal us. You have to believe that it’s his will for you to be healthy because he is the God of life, not death or sickness. Don’t doubt he will heal you. Wake up every morning being grateful that he already healed you. He healed you because it pleases him to see you well ❤ I’ve been dealing with a few things myself and he just healed me from an allergy that wouldn’t go away for 2yrs but let me tell you it was hard. He revealed to me that it’s his will to heal all of us and to heal every disease. We just have to believe in him. He already healed me from all the things I asked him not just my allergy but I’m not letting his power heal me from the rest because of my doubt. I trust that with his help you can overcome that.
I agree that God wants to heal, but there can be different things getting in the way. Could perhaps look into Henry Wright's ministry, I think he deals more with allergies, but some of the principles should apply

I'm healed from disability and I realized that it's not the same as it looks on the surface. When you are healed there are some emotional and social changes. You feel like you are starting a whole new life after you loose your disability. Is there some support groups for people who are healed from disability and lost all social benefits after being healed? I would love to start group for people who were disabled for long period of time and now are healed, only I'm not sure where to meet people like this because not many speaks openly about it.
Great idea. My best guess would be seek God for it. You could also make fb group, talk to churches, try search out different churches. I would guess it would be. Little work and time to build up. But the key is to seek Him about it. I’m sure he would favour you on this path

I think the only reason that there are a few thumb-downs is because there’s no doctor’s report. This element is really appreciated in the best stories of healing testamonies. We have to be honest and realistic and try to understand why it is so hard for the low to no-faith people, especially our Atheist friends, to get their minds wrapped around the ‘Supernatural Power of God’. As well, we do not get to see or hear from the young woman who had a desire to pray for this specific young woman. It would have been helpful to understand what her process was in praying that God would use her for healing, and possible Biblical level training she might have received.
I feel so too like I'm being punished , like a failure alone and lost .. like God isnt listening yet I know God knows my story and I do believe but sometimes I feel discouraged . 😔
well God obviously hates me, because no matter how hard I pray and how sad I've made my family and how much they prayed for me, my pots syndrome isn't going away. I've had it for a year, and it just seems to be getting worse. God knows how sad I am too, and yet....here I am trapped in misery and barely holding on.
that's not the right way to think about it, as God is not the only one at work, there's also a devil who can get in the way and interfere with God's plans. God does not always get what He wants on the earth either. I'd recommend reading through the Bible and start learning more. The most important thing is our eternal soul/spirit and getting right with God, the other stuff, like advanced questions on how does God heal and what's involved (beyond some of the cookie cutter answers some may give), involves more study.
This is a medical anomaly. You are very fortunate because God doesn't heal. Millions pray for healing from horrible health issues and God doesn't heal them.

Dont get me wrong I believe in the power of prayer, that sometimes the prayers are answered with a not now sometimes I have something better. Many people today believe that God is still working miracles like He did in the first century. Many people say that they can speak in tongues or heal the sick, or that they know people who can. But the Bible does not teach this idea. A miracle in the Bible was a supernatural act. It was an event that was beyond the usual course of nature-like restoring sight to a man blind from birth, or raising a dead person (like Lazarus) from the grave. Many people today believe that God is still working miracles like He did in the first century. Many people say that they can speak in tongues or heal the sick, or that they know people who can. But the Bible does not teach this idea. A miracle in the Bible was a supernatural act. It was an event that was beyond the usual course of nature-like restoring sight to a man blind from birth, or raising a dead person (like Lazarus) from the grave. The Bible teaches that miracles happened in Bible times for a very specific purpose: to confirm the Word (Mark 16:20; Acts 8:6; Hebrews 2:3-4). How did miracles “confirm the Word”?
When an inspired speaker stepped forward to declare God’s Word, God confirmed His Word by having the speaker perform a miracle to show that he was from God. The miracle showed the hearers that God was behind the speaker’s remarks. Miracles authenticated the spoken word as God’s Word. Miracles verified the teaching of God’s messengers, as over against the many false teachers (read John 3:2).
Paul stated that miracles would cease and be done away when the “perfect” (or completed Word of God) had been revealed (1 Corinthians 13:8-10; James 1:25). Those things that were incomplete and partial (miraculous gifts) would be replaced by the total and complete (the fully revealed Word of God). Once God revealed all of the information that He wished to make available to people, the need for miracles to confirm the oral Word came to an end. Now, people can sit down with a New Testament, the written Word of God, and, with honest and diligent study, conclude that it is God’s Word. We have absolutely no need for miracles. Since there are no apostles living today, and since Holy Spirit baptism was unique to the apostles (Acts 2) and the first Gentile converts (Acts 10), there is no Holy Spirit baptism today. Likewise, there is no miraculous healing today. All those on whom the apostles had laid their hands are also dead (Acts 8:18). Once the last apostle died, the ability to perform miracles could not be passed on to others.
The Bible teaches that miracles are no longer necessary since we have everything we need to function in this life, to be pleasing to God, and to survive spiritually (Read 2 Peter 1:3). What can you say about this?
