Quick question: I have other corsair fans with their own rgb controller and im wondering if im able to control the rgb with those fans and the fans on the radiator too? Or do i have to connect them all to the controller that comes with the aio?
@@saabitsplaying285 I figured it out. The connection from pump to hub needs to be super snug. I watched it here: th-cam.com/video/yaF7DxOeYyI/w-d-xo.html .. literally a video for everythings
Hey mate. Did the 1700 Socket compatibility kit came with the box? The Corsair website says it's compatible but the shop pages don't show the 1700 as compatible. I'm super lost here.
@Archer thanks for dropping by at my channel. The H100i Elite LCD comes with LGA1700 standoff screws. It comes also with CPU Bracket compatible with LGA1200 and LGA1700. Don't worry bro, it's a good product. Let me know hows your installation goes 👌
@Curiosity thanks for your comment. Yes, you have to connect the USB Cable from the commander pro to the mobo USB 2.0 header to control via iCUE. Do you have a spare USB 2.0 header left?
Hi, I did exactly like you. But when I turn on my pc the leds do not light up. Is it because I have to configure them on the software first? (Sorry for my English I am French)
@adamsolo77 the AIO LCD should light up even if the iCUE is not yet configured. Make sure to connect the SATA power of the commander pro to the SATA power cable of your power supply. Check if everything is connected as per the user manual. Let me know how it goes.
@@PCraftEvo The screen lights up well, there is the temperature of the liquid. When I turn on the computer the pump screen lights up, the fans are all running, but the leds turn on and off after a second. I made all the connections you showed. I will wait to configure the app and I will see at that time if it still does not turn on. Thanks for your feedback ! :)
@adamsolo77 please check also if there's a new firmware update for your cooler. Go to iCUE and look for settings then updates. Let me know how it goes 👍
@@KnightmareUSA thanks for your comment. The H100i AIO has a pre-applied thermal paste frm the factory. You don't need to apply on first use. Are you planning to use same cooler?
@@PCraftEvo I have the same cooler, but had to use other paste as the other rubbed off too much. There seems to be others with the lcd cooling either not working (bad connection) or constantly showing cautionary messages (buggy, needing an update, or a windows issue). I haven't tried it out yet though. Have you had any problems with it?
@Fabrizio Limoncelli thanks for your comment. The case I used in the video is the Corsair 4000X RGB. It's an ATX case bro. Are you using similar case or planning to use one?
@@runedenhaene1771 Turns out its a bug. You connect this to a fan header on the board - but its not seen as a fan (because its a pump)so it causes the error to pop up saying there is no CPU fan. I disabled this in the BIOS and was able to start the machine. Has been fine ever since.

@@TH-camrstein there's a two year running post on the official corsair forum with people mentioning all the problems with it. usually the red triangle with no temp reading, or failing to cool. there may be problems with the pump or commander core it comes with. I returned my one
@@TH-camrstein might be ok, sits in the middle with performance and seems to be a fairly quiet cooler judging by tech power up and similar, but there is apparently no manual included, so you may need to look at installation vids if it's your first. check reviews of it and forums for possible issues. with corsair, they generally make decent products, but I don't think their coolers are any good when you ignore looks. If you don't care about looks at all then it might be easier going for an air cooler instead, eg peerless assassin 120, noctua NHu12a or siren 360. I swapped my corsair for a budget assassin 120 and it's quiet, my graphics card is louder. It's large though so was a tight fit, the ram gets in the way so one of it's fans on the right has to stick out slightly. I may get a liquid cooler again one day but the temps for now are decent enough, on a cool day 33C idle. liquid can be much more of a hassle when it goes wrong compared to air
