Lost me at budwiser .....
I get it. I saw the tall cans and thought this would be perfect for my idea and im in St Louis where Budweiser is from.
Me too.
If youre going to waste a beer, am glad it was Budweiser! 😂😢😮😅 I love it Doug!
C'mon Poor Guy it's the King of Beers 😂😂😂
Wouldnt it have been easier and safer (cans have liners) to pour the beer in a pan and cook the brats peppers and onions in that , looks delicious either way !!!!
The premise of this video is inspired from people putting beers on their griddle and taking a picture and putting it on Facebook griddle groups. It's a big debate and some people find it funny and others don't This video was mainly made as funny response to show you can use that warm beer. The good thing is that plastic liner will hold up too 257 degrees before melting. I kept it under 212 degrees.
@@griddlecookeatandmore we never knew about liners in cans until a few years ago we always made our chicken w a can of Guiness we stopped after we found out about the plastic liners did not know about temp, thanks for the info !
No problem. Beer can chicken is always a win.
@@griddlecookeatandmore definitely we would love to make it again , if we can ever afford to buy a chicken again 🙄🤣
Beer on the Blackstone, no problem!
Bud piss water on the Blackstone?
Cya.
The beautiful thing is it's a free country and you drink the beer of your choice. Thanks for watching.
Hell ya!! you rock bro! 😎🔥🔥 are you sheer we are not related some how? LOL🤣🤣🔥🔥👍
I guess we are food brothers from another mother 😂😂😂
Nice!
Thanks!
should have run the bun on the flattop too.....missed that boat.
Not a bad idea. Thanks for watching.
Good idea but I'll choose a different brand of beer for this recipe.
I grabbed them because they were tall cans and worked for my idea.
All the hate for the king of beers is disturbing 😂😂
That Damn Dylan Mulvaney scarred its reputation.
This is definitely different , absolutely cool!. Looks fantastic Doug! Cheers brother 🍺
This was a fun one to make. I was inspired by all the Beer on the griddle pics on the Blackstone Facebook groups.
I need that all day long and I'm not even a beer drinker. I bet you thought I would be the one who was triggered by the beer. That looks great I think you nailed it Doug
It worked out good. I hear you need a smoker?
Wow man, Brilliant! You have given me a new level to strive for on my grilling journey. Absolute BBQ Masterness. Will try.
It's not the most practical way of doing it but it was fun switching it up.
Anything cooked with beer has my attention! Nice looking brats! 🍺
Beer always makes it better. I just need some bacon to top it off.
You are a Genius coming up with thisDude, that looks really delicioius😋A "BIG"👍🏻You should get a Nobel Prize for this🏅ROCK ON!!!!!!!🤘🏻🤙🏻✌🏻
It's a kind of a spoof on all the Facebook posts with beer on the griddle. I thought I would put the warm beer to work.
Why not just use a pan and cook with two of the beers?
Normally I would. The idea of this video came from people posting pics of Beers on their griddle on Facebook. I saw the can opener on a Tik Tok and the idea came together.
Because: beer
This is an absolutely brilliant idea!
I had to solve the warm beer on the griddle trend.
PBR 🤟
Hell yeah I love PBR!!!
Hell yeah
This was a fun one to do. The brats were good too. I'm actually eating the last of them tonight.
Points for a visually interesting video, but I'd never do that to my griddle!
This was my 1st cook LOL
@@griddlecookeatandmore - 1st cook on a new / specific griddle or 1st video?
When was this made?
@harddocs 1st cook on a new 36 Blackstone. I made this video about 3 weeks ago. I have around 160 videos on my channel.
@@griddlecookeatandmore - I've sub'd a long time & seen dozens of your vids, but when you said 1st cook, I figured you meant 1st video & that doesn't jive w/ what I've seen in the past from you - this was great editing & "visually interesting".
Good job! I don't know what I dislike more - cleaning the griddle or editing video...
@@griddlecookeatandmore - Found the first vid you have posted on YT = "Chopped Cheese Dog #BRINGONSUMMER2021"
Looks like this is your 2nd 36" griddle...
Wasting like 6 beers just for those gray but also burnt brats. Try basting the beer over them and the veg while cooking so you don't waste so much
Also prevents burning
It's all for the video. In my defense I did drink one of the beers 😂😂😂
Alcohol abuse!!!!! They look great !!
It was a fun waste of beer for sure and the brats we're not bad either.
What is that thing you used to take off the top of the can?
The can opener is pretty cool. I saw it on a Tik Tok video and it's what inspired me for the idea of this video.

You have been a huge proponent of the Halo 4B Elite griddle and are even wearing a Halo shirt in this video. Now you're cooking on a new Blackstone. Have you switched your allegiance?
The Halo is my main griddle I use at home. I just bought a new Blackstone to replace my older 36 that I use camping and tailgating. The Halo is not the most portable griddle. I also have a Loco griddle, Weber griddle, Vevor electric griddle, and several other Blackstone griddles. Basically I have too many griddles.
I’m triggered by people using olive oil on the blackstone, low smoke point and taste like shit!
I hear yeah. I'm a canola fan
As a guy from Wisconsin I will tell you that you should NEVER boil your brats in anything. That boils all the flavor out of them, fat ,spices ect.. After your choice of grilling, THEN put them in a bath of beer in a pot on the grill with the onions, and peppers. Serve out of the pot you made with the beer, brats, and veggies.
Boiling sausage.. NO WAY!
This was one a one off video. The idea came from people posting pics on Facebook with a beer on the griddle while they're cooking. My idea was to put that warm beer to work. I would not normally do that but it was fun. Thanks for watching.
oh hell no
C'mon it's just for fun.
Beer cans are lined with plastic. Safer to take the beer out of those first; steel steins would be fun.
Interesting I did not know that. This was pretty much a one time cook to make this video.
@@griddlecookeatandmore Yeah -- it's great, btw! Enjoyed the whole thing, and I don't even have a griddle, now I wonder why not! 🤣
You need a griddle they are so much fun.
Completely unnecessary but hey, it got me to click.
That is what it's all about.
@@griddlecookeatandmore And good on ya! I was thinking I know he would normally just pour the beer in the aluminum pan. lol. Guess what I’m cooking tonight. Thanks for the idea. It’s been a while.
Way to needlessly complicate a simple thing....
C'mon it's for a video and reaction.
Hard pass. Waste of beer; can lining, just dumb.
The video is intended to be a joke on the people who take pics of a beer on their griddle while cooking and post it to Facebook. This is a one time idea and the revenue from the video will cover my beer cost. In the end the Brats where great.
