Dude! When you broke that up with your hand, it made my mouth water! I raise mangalitsa pigs and there is simply no describing it compared to regular store bought pork. Excellent video.
Mr and Mrs Ninja, your channel has been one of the best things I found in 2019 and I will be a loyal watcher from here on out! Here's to a wonderful 2020! Love you!
Ninja I have been spending the past 2 days leaving all your videos playing on my computer enjoying all the content. You are growing quick and the quality of the videos are getting better and better! All your dishes look DEEEEEELISIOUS! brother.
We just bought a Mangalitsa pig from a farms farmer friend and have a freezer FULL of the meat as of yesterday! Pork chops last night better than any top prime cut of beef! The flavor they cannot explain is CLEAN!! So tender , sweet and CLEAN! So amazing! The lard is sought after by gourmet chefs and pastry professionals!! 🤍🤍🤍🐖
Bro omg no way i could choose between the 2 they are 2 of the best pigs in the world and for you to do this a cook both of them is just freakin phenomenal
Man, I can't wait to try Berkshire pork. I'm raising 3 Berkshire pigs for this spring processing. Going to smoke the pork butt with your rub recipe. Thanks for sharing!
I would love to try a smoked Iberico pork shoulder. I've had the dry cured Iberico ham a couple times, and it was hands down, the BEST dry-cured ham I have ever had. The fat melted like butter and there was a really nice nutty, almost sweet flavor to it. Highly recommend. Love the channel, by the way!
It's a very popular breed in America.... One of the most popular.... that's probably why he said American pig. My grandparents were in Appalachian and always talked about Berkshire hogs....
No words describe how good those look! When you broke those up with your hands, OMG!!! 🤯🥳🥳I need a seat and a plate at that table! Happy new year to you both!
Watching this breakfast time December 31st. That pork just falls apart. WOW. Making me hungry. Looks amazing and deeeeeelicious. Happy New Year when you get there Ninja Family.
@@SaltyTales hahaha they probably do but it gets a laugh out of them😂😂 And then i of course credit my man ninja for the inspiration! Happy new years brother, never stop being you!
I recently found a California Berkshire pastured pig farmer and started off with their leaf lard to cook/sautée with. It makes THE BEST breakfast potatoes and veggie fajitas 🤤. The biggest plus is, no acne from sauteeing with lard whereas sunflower seed oil would make me very oily with lots of whiteheads. 🙌🏾 Bought their pork butt, it was HEAVILY marbled. Beautiful. Made old fashioned carnitas; slow cooked it in lard. The flavor is pretty strong. Lol. It will take some getting used to, but it's good!
Happy new year my friends, is always nice to see your videos, I learned a lot this year thanks to you and I hope next year will be better, God bless you with a healthy life for you and your family.
You just sold me on getting Mangalitsas one day. Mild and sweet definitely sounds better to me. I’ve never been a huge ham person I think because of that intense flavor of it. I’ll have to track down some meat to try before we invest in some.
While I love all of the beef steak videos, I also love pork! This video taught me about a kind of pig I never heard of...the Mangalitsa. I just looked it up online, and now I am ordering! Cannot wait to try it!
Don't take this the wrong way, everybody has their own thing, but I wouldn't put anything on the meat but salt... Once a piece of meat passes a certain quality spices just take away from the flavor. In Serbia, we find the best way to prepare pork is to spit roast the whole animal over hardwood - you get a crunchy skin and tender, moist middle. You should try it sometime! And don't forget to invite a lot of friends, you'll need the help 😁
Wonderful video and I wish you and your family a happy new Year. And I'm looking forward to see your new videos next year. Cheers to the whole Ninja Family 🍻👍👍👍
Great lookin pork butts Ninja, if I couldn't eat pork I don't know what I would do I feel so bad for people that can't. Keep up the great work Ninjas and have a great New Year

My first new video from you since I turned 30 on Saturday. I hope you guys had a Merry Christmas and if this is you last video of no just this year but of the decade I hope you, Mrs. Ninja, and the rest of the ninja clan have a Happy New Year.
The BEST pork I ever had was an FFA pig that we bought at the County Fair (we split the pig with another couple). We had him custom butchered; got some AMAZING ham and bacon (that tasted like ham); spicy sausage; and a year's worth of pork chops. Amazing pig, and I highly recommend doing it. It wasn't cheap, but we supported a kid's efforts to earn money for college. So that's a good thing. And I know the pig was humanely-raised (which is actually important to me). The only downside (?) was that the pork was too lean for a good, smoked, pork butt. But overall, I was very happy with our FFA Pig. Not good for smoking (but, in hindsight, I might've been able to cure/smoke my own ham!) So this doesn't really "go" with this video (Gawd knows I love me some #DEEEELICIOUS pulled-pork!), I absolutely do recommend supporting local youth raising 4-H/FFA pigs for the fair. Try it! You won't be disappointed! (Just don't try to smoke it!!)
I do absolutely support local business and that is why I love berkshire grown in the US. Thank you so much for sharing the experience with the FFA pork, I'll have to give it a try. Any farmer raising any kind of animal locally have our full support! Happy new year!!
