i work for jetstar. great company and they have taken care of us through the hard times. budget airlines get a bad rap but I think if people read the booking info and show up on time they are great. I love the fact I can fly from one end of my country to the other for 30 bucks
Hi Rory, fantastic video. You are doing what I always want to do in my life. That is to show people how travelling and travelling experience feel like in different ways, such as airlines and trains.
Another solid review. You do get what you pay for and l think the price point for this trip was excellent value. Thanks once again for such a detailed unbiased and informative review. 👍
Not just the landing is stunning, Darwin is, there are so many places for tourists, learning the history of Darwin, and many activities. When all this health trouble is over, you can finally come up.
Completely agree! My favourite places in Australia are Cairns, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane (especially when landing on 01L the new runway), also Ayers rock and Alice springs are pretty stunning too! I haven’t done that I got limited time in Darwin this time but hopefully in the future!
Looked fine for a domestic low cost, have you tried Ryanair or EasyJet over here in the UK or Europe? Also great to see how the immigration with Covid operates... thanks for sharing once again!
Yes I tried easyJet from Amsterdam to Prague and Paris cdg to Berlin Tegel and Ryanair from Birmingham to Dublin! Price wise both airlines were so cheap!! There are so much competition in Europe: low cost airlines, flag carrier airlines, bullet trains, buses...
It’s gonna be interesting to see.Jetstar is selling Adelaide- Sydney for $59, the cheapest I’ve ever seen. Virgin is still here, it’s currently sitting between qantas and Jetstar. So jetstar still has the pressure to keep the fare low.
@@RoryDing There were only limited number of seats at $59. I tried to book a ticket to go Sydney to Adelaide next weekend and there were no seats available on Jetstar and Qantas were charging $442 one way.
NowGetThere Travel well there were heaps for October November and early December when I checked 2 days ago. Normally the price is around $81 It’s expensive now because the border has reopened and everyone wants to travel between Sydney and SA, can’t really fault the airline 😅
And even before the pandemic tiger only had one daily Sydney to Adelaide service (TT641) which arrives Adelaide in the evening. And I remember they usually charge slightly more than jetstar.
This video was filmed earlier this month I’ll consider it when I get time to go to Queensland again! I live in Canberra so going all the way to Cairns is not cheap and not easy I’ll do it if I get chance in the future hope you understand.
Absolutely. The worst part is Qantas full fare paying passengers get shoved onto Jetstar planes. How Alan Joyce expects people six foot & above to fly on these planes, I don’t know. I had a very sore back for days after getting off a 31 inch seat pitch plane after flying 13 hours. All the people in the seats in front had rolled their seats right back for 12 hours of a 13 hr trip.
I was on an air Portugal A319 for 4h, the full service airline only has a seat pitch of 28inches and all seats can’t recline. I published my review and so many Portuguese got very offended 🤣🤣🤣🤷🏻♂️ th-cam.com/video/peGbizpxFI8/w-d-xo.html Here’s the video in case you’re interested

Fair enough!! Wish Jetstar could fly to Canberra one day!!

You guys are almost there! Maybe you’ll be able to by December!

So sad that Tiger Air shut down. With only 1 budget airline left in Australia, prices will not be so budget!

I honestly would prefer boat or train anyway.
Wow what a built up city!
Yeah well the city was destroyed during ww2 :(
@@RoryDing ok I don't remember calm down lol :(
I am calm 😂
Good to hear Rory 🤣👍👍
I know I keep saying this but you don’t be good if you went on the spirit of Queensland to Cairns to Brisbane
