I recently purchased fallout 4 goty edition. I love this game and i am blown away with the gameplay. However i find i want to build in settlements and your videos have really helped me out. As a noob im still learning so thank you.
Really appreciate all the work you put into this game! I mean, I started my most « serious » walkthrough when I discovered you channel, just so I could implement your techniques and tips into my settlements! Thank you sooo much from France (yeah, I wish I could surrender when facing a super mutant suicider, but it seems like peace was never an option for them)
I've used every technique you've taught us in class and I can concur ABSOLUTELY no mods needed. Thanks teach and remember, My haters are my modivators. Lol. I still go back to watch older video's as refreshers. It's kinda funny how the wifi glitch kinda changed the game. Wires in my settlements annoy me now. Keep up the trivia walkthrough also, you might not get as many views but as someone who is interested in history I love them.
you are by far one of the most delightful fallout 4 youtubers, i really appreciate how much you enjoy what you do and how nice you are about it :) i'm not the best at settlements but your videos have helped me with a lot of little improvements to build
You already know that you are a great builder. I wanted to comment that I really appreciate your attention to light level. I'm so tried of watching dark videos from other youtubers because they don't want to take the time to rest until morning whenever it gets dark. Thank you very much for making a video I can actual see.
Wow. 85 lessons! This is a great idea - hadn't thought of it even though I live in an area IRL with a seriously large number of glass railed balconies and decks. As always, thanks.
I've played it since release, still enjoy it. I'll likely play it a lot less when my sim racing rig is finished (used to race a lot, then my gear broke). I enjoy these videos. Fair winds and following seas to all.
Sir, you are THE most persistent youtuber I have ever seen. I have been subbed to you for what.... 5 years? I LOVE your vids on Fallout 4, and always like them.. so keep on sir.. I am hardcore Fallout 4 person and always will be. Peace! sir and thank you...And, I would never try to give YOU tips :) I have learned so much from you with this class over the millennia that I know my place :) Well done with the glass railing and the microphone. I keep all that you have taught in mind over the years... example: stringing electric lines underground :) Favorite :) again Peace! sir.
I love watching your channel even though I have moved to pc and now use mods. I still find myself using some of your tricks to make things work even with mods.
I love this idea! Thank you for the excellent tip. I may put this into the nightclub floor of my tower build. The mannequin is an awesome idea as well to use in place of a singer. Keep up the awesome work!
love these videos. I've learned so much from them like the wire glitch, I use that all the time. :D still trying some of the other things to. Thanks for the great videos.
You have a great imagination and are very skilled at making these informative videos. If there are any modders like myself interested in building a stage with the real microphone from the Third Rail I highly recommend the mod Singing Settler found on the nexus. Also, I've noticed some anti-modding sentiments in the comments and was wondering why these people feel this way? For me, modding Fallout 4 is almost as fun as playing with mods installed. I can't imagine playing vanilla since the game came out without mods. Anyway, keep up the great videos Skooled!
I think cuz they play on console or they can’t mod there game for some other reason. And imagine spending multiple hours glitching some floor into the ground to cover up some clutter while with mods you can delete all clutter in the settlement in under 20 seconds. The anti mod sentiment is a coping mechanism
It's funny. My name's also Paul. I've been learning from u dude. Ur really good at building without mods. I'm doing shit now I've never seen before. Had this game for 4 years. . Got bored. Now it's all I want to play. Keep it going Paul. 😆
Good to see you back in FO4 again, and Congratulations on the 140k subs. Thanks for another cool tip/trick, too- I succumbed to the dark side as far as mods go, mainly for the power armor ( what can I say? I'm a collector, lol), but a lot of what you do works very well in them. Keep 'em coming!
"I've got so many other build I'm working on" Don't we all? 😂 Also, I keep forgetting how to do the push forward. Glad you mentioned it. I'll go back and look at the video.
I've put a bar/restaurant into a light wall to make the bartender into a dancer... either in fancy dress or scantily clad. But the microphone is a cool addition. Now the next step is to figure out how to make a piano or other instrument on the stage - maybe a shelf attached to a counter or dresser with a bench or stool in front of it.
Amazing that you are still doing No Mods Shop Class. Fallout 4 is one of my favourite games I've ever played. Last I played was about 6 or 7 months ago but I am always glancing at it on my shelf. I don't think I will ever rid myself of the game.
I love it, your nightclub looks exactly like one of my Deathclaw houses, same location and pieces (I turned Sanctuary into the Deathclaw Preservation Society lol)

I recently set up a little stage at Taffington Boathouse bc I couldn't be stuffed dragging Margaret's body away (sorry Margaret) and this microphone setup is EXACTLY what I need to give my settlers the entertainment system they deserve!
Perfect timing, was looking for railing ideas for the broken sections of the Bridge at Finch Farm. But accidentally ran myself out of resources at Vault 88. I actually have a real Vault now, soo worth it. :)
@@SkooledZone No problem! I started playing fallout 4 not too long ago and all of your no mods shop class videos really helped and are still helping me! Plus your videos are just so genuine. Really, thanks for the awesome content!

Dude, you can combine the glass half window from the warhouse section with the half wall from the barn section to have undamaged window. Also those glass windows and halfwindows can be used to repaire windows in original houses of Sanctuary...
I'm glad y added a mic w these videos as well.. I woukdve maybe used a floor lamp for a stand, conduit for the stand and still that Far Harbor lamp cause that part at the end was pretty creative!

I know I'm quite a bit late to the party but a thought on what to do with the overhang could be adding floor pieces to the bottom of the glass wall after putting in the lights. This will give it a Brutalesque Architecture feel. Or something more modern would be to take the flat glass roof pieces from the warehouse pieces and pillar glitch those under the glass walls. Just something to think about when you get back to making videos in about 4-ish months.
If you want some easy colored lights behind the hanging glass for the railing, the Christmas DLC had strings of colored lights. I'd have to test it since they have to be attached to a wall, but you may be able to connect those lights to the inner hanging side of that glass half wall. Could be especially helpful if you already have a lot going on in your settlement and don't wan to bog it down further with more invisible wires from the wifi technique.
Just one more thing I have a school zone tip for you to try out take 2 of the wooden pillars from the barn section and take 1 of the small conduit pieces from the eclectical section and put that on top and then bam you got a power line
I was pretty awful at building too, but SZ really helped. It also helped just taking my time and making sure things fit together properly and not settling for "good enough." So many of my early builds were really half-assed, but watching these videos helped enormously. That, and my PS4 dying, forcing me to start the game over!

Quick tip: You can use a garden plot if you need to use the pillar glitch high up off the ground. Just pillar glitch the garden plot up to the spot where you want to work. Because the game sees the garden plot as ground you can sink a pillar into it even if it's floating in mid-air.
