    Great stuff, bud 🤙😎 As in all of your videos, there’s a good mix of action and humour 😁
    I hadn’t known that they had such a large area 😳 There really was a lot of variety, hey! The Paj certainly wasn’t embarrassed 😎 but the Raptor and it’s locker definitely made some sections look easier 👍 Lol, I thought you were a goner at 14.10 😳😂😂

      🙏 thanks mate. I didn’t realise how gnarly that was until I saw the video.. the Paj is that stiff that it rides all the bumps. There is no flex at all.

    I find the Pajero works well with constant power vs running up using momentum. It's better to choose the track well than to bulldoze through it. I also have a Gen 4 with no lockers

    • @TabVentures
      @TabVentures  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yep agree. better driven with constant/controlled power for sure. TC system on the Paj is solid.

    Awesome wheel lifts by the paj with enough momentum to keep it going

    • @TabVentures

      Yeah agree man.. the unique build makes for impressive wheel lifts.. Need to be careful to ease on the accellerator though.. theres always risk of shockloading the CV when that happens 🤙

    Thinking about getting an NS Pajero for the new family 4x4 weekend tourer, they look like a good compromise between comfort reliability and capability.

    • @TabVentures
      @TabVentures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Absolutely best value when it comes to 4WDs - capability of these things (driven properly) will get you through some rough terrain.
      I've been to this 4wd track in the video plenty of times so i mucked around a bit.. so dismiss the parts where i'm sliding.. had i had the highway tyre pressures down and slowed down to allow the TC to kick in. It would negotiated the tracks differently.

    40psi that is 2,76bar! Recommended highway pressure is 2,3 bar without loading! At least deflate to 1,6 bar without needing a compressor afterwords.

    Great video👍👌
    At 7:50 minute pajero's traction control doesn't help but at 14:00 minute it works really well. It's really interesting why?🤔

    • @TabVentures
      @TabVentures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey mate the varying ruts/holes coming up the hill in the latter worked in the traction control’s favour, it meant one of the corners had something to grip to each time.. In 7:50 it was just a straight rut for the most part and fairly lose sand ontop. not having the tyres pressures down did not help either.

    Very Impressive Pajero. Have been enjoying the videos. Can you tell me tyre size? Lift? rear locker? The reason is my Pajero doesn't have a rear locker, on stock tyre size and no lift. I am trying to compare in specs for its capability against yours.

    • @TabVentures
      @TabVentures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey mate, those rubbers in that video are Maxxis 285/70R17.. no lockers. 2 inch lift.

  • @philiburbarnard519

    9:20, first time did not look like you had central difflock on. With central difflock on in LR and if you had but not always needed rear pneumatic difflock on (get them in with SA pejoro) would have bean a breeze! but cool video

    What was the reasoning behind not airing down?
    Nice vid tho like the contrast between paj and raptor, good to see something different for a change :)

    • @TabVentures
      @TabVentures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks mate. Jus wanted to add a level of difficulty.. whilst we said the raptor didn’t air down, he did have a slow leak on his back left tyre, which I reckon added to his advantage.
