I was the idiot thinking that autosexuals are the ones who have sexual attraction to automobiles, but I have learned it's so much more different and interesting. Thank you.
@@LScentral Yeah, but its great to see how he interacts with others especially when it comes to more critical topics or comes to people who are " different " yk?
i understand to an extent why people confuse this with narcissism, but when you think about it it’s quite sad. these people are loving themselves and not trying to force others to like them, and the fact that we as a society associate that with narcissism just shows that we are so against self love and confidence for not only ourselves but others. we feel threatened by others who are happy with themselves and that’s really unfortunate :(
Funnily enough, it does tie into the root of the term "narcissism", where the Greek legend of Narcissus discusses a man who basically falls in love with himself. The original tale of Narcissus is quite a lot closer to Autosexuality than to narcissism actually, but it's not exactly feasible to change the English language.
I immediatley thought Narcissus not narcissism. as in the greek story where a man falls in love with himself after seeing his reflection. I think it aligns with Autosexual more than narcissism tbh
It does align with narcissism though. That doesn't mean they're bad people but they most certainly have narc traits they display. I'm only listening so idk who said it but one of the people being interviewed literally says I think of myself and not my partner when engaging in sex. Sex is about everyone involved so making it solely about their own needs is narcissistic. I believe the same person said they don't care about the opinions of others Also being engaged and making a display of it when it's between just yourself? Grandiose acts are very narc based. Again, it doesn't make them a bad person. And two things can be true at once. They can be autosexual and narcissistic
he’s so good at doing interviews and they’re always so engaging even when i have such a short attention span edit- why did this get so many likes tysm 💀
"Why do you care?" is honestly such a powerful question. It can be used in so many LGBTQ+ situations. Why DO people care so much when they're not even involved in it? People like what people like, that's no one else's business.
"Why do you care?" is not a powerful question, it's the opposite, only the people who side with you will understand and support that statement, people who don't understand will keep not understanding, I think we want people to understand each other, not divide them
Yeah in this case. It is literally no one's business (because the only potential person it would be relevant would be a partner, which would be an autosexual's self)!
When people who have always had rights see other oppressed people gain certain rights, those who benefit from oppression feel like they are losing rights.
I'm pretty sure I'm asexual so the idea of being attracted to anyone, let alone myself, feels a little strange (not every asexual will be like that though). I like learning about different people
That’s aromantic not just asexual. Asexual is when you don’t have sexual attraction but would still date someone. Aromantic is when you don’t want to date anyone
I broke my feet today because I kicked my computer because someone commented that my videos are bad! I hate unjustified criticism. Please wish me a speedy recovery, dear iq
I'm aegosexual which is a micro label in the asexual spectrum. Basically I still have sexual fantasies, get turned on by sexual content although for me it's specifically just hentai, but I have no interest in actually engaging in sexual activities with another person. Real life is turn off for me. I still want a romantic companion though but I preferably like it if they are under the asexual umbrella too that way I don't have to risk breaking my boundaries in order to please them. I'd much rather in that case let them go with someone else that's a better fit for them than stuck with me.
As a trans person who lives everyday in self hate and discomfort, to see other trans people practice self love and appreciation is so refreshing, and borderline shocking. Big respect to them.
when you're so used to hating your self, seeing people love themselves so much in a non narcissistic manner feels bizarre. good to know more about autosexuals
I used to thoroughly hate myself, after going through a lot of therapy and taking a lot of psychedelics, I eventually learned to love myself and discover I am sexually attracted to myself
I truly do hate the way I look most of the time- yet I have this. The difference is that, think about it-you might be attracted to a celeb that that is plain or not the normal “sexy”.
I think loving yourself in a non narcissistic manner is just having neutral feelings or less focus on yourself actually. It is kind of bizarre to me that someone can sexually love themselves. Its not an issue at all if they're not causing any problems to others but Im not sure if its healthy.
I was so judgmental about this before I watched this, but once Kenzie explained the difference between autosexuality and narcissism, I found it incredibly fascinating.
@@sweetest-of-memes I know but I wont call it something that isnt now if someone denied holocaust would it have some kind of effect on me? hell nah but would I argue with that person YES if I feel like a statement is ridiculous I will always give my opinion on it
This is me...its a relief to have a name for how I feel. I'm autistic too. And do believe it's for me,trauma related, I dissociate a lot, but when loving myself, pleasing myself, no dissociation, no flashbacks...I'm good.
The fact Anthony Padilla started the "I spent a day with (blank)" as a joke but has now evolved to have the show be authentic and accepting of all different kinds of people while gathering very interesting and deep insight into the lives of these people is just beautiful.
I honestly don't see a problem with this. As long as they aren't really doing anything wrong, then who cares? As an asexual myself, I really don't agree with those remarks other asexuals made towards Alex. Everyone experiences asexuality very differently, and everyone comes to terms with it differently. At the end of the day if you truly believe that you're asexual, then you're asexual. And I think we should all embrace our differences.
Yeah, I had the same thought as you! They're just making themselves happy and they aren't hurting other people in process, so why the hell does it matter? I've never heard about this sexuality before and I find myself relating to some of the things they're saying plus the way they are acting and talking about this, it really does NOT look anything like narcissism. Also I never understood the breeding argument? Like why does it matter if I have a child or not???? There's 7 billion people on this planet, we ain't dying out any time soon lol
I find it really cool how respectful Anthony is. I would be uncomfortable in front of a lot of the people he talks to, and it’s just nice to see such a great interviewer like him.
I think the key to it is to just not let your own opinions show during the interview. If you keep a clear head, ask good questions and stay respectful it should be fine. It’s easier said then done I think.
try to never say mean things about yourself. always praise yourself when you do something good. also focus on your uniqueness and how that makes you beautiful ❤️
How about you grab a piece of paper and start writing anything positive about yourself? Whether it be things you like or enjoy, a beautiful mole, some highlights in your life, or your eyes having a lovely color. It will seem hard at first, but one small step is better than no step at all. :) Anything positive, even if it's a really small thing.
I don't think it should be under the ace spectrum since its defined by the presence of a specific sexual attraction, not a lack of one. But I'm open to a different perspective of why it is (without assholery). Edit: I should look more into grey-sexual. Thank y'all for actually not being asshole-ish! 😊I saw 18 replies and got scared 😳
I agree. I don't want to invalidate their experience but it seems unrelated to asexuality (maybe with an intersection in grey-asexuality for a portion of them)
I agree. I’m ace myself and I see the base line definition of “lack of sexual attraction” so, feeling a sexual attraction to yourself is still sexual attraction.
I respectfully disagree. I'm a sex-repulsed asexual and even though this is my first time hearing of autosexuality, I think it could apply to the spectrum. Many asexual people define asexuality as "not experiencing sexual attraction OR the lacking of sexual attraction to any gender or person." Some asexuals (who are not sex-repulsed) do engage in sex to demonstrate a strong form of intimacy with their partner... Or because they DO enjoy the pleasure of sex. But it's just the action they like and not the other person's attributes. From this perspective, I think autosexuality could be somewhere in the spectrum. But I'm not an expert on autosexuality to have a fully-fledged opinion.
I think it would be in the grey-ace spectrum, since someone can be grey-ace and very sexually active with themselves and/or others, they just rarely feel sexual attraction (besides the person the person they are attracted to, like a partner or themselves).
I would say so, since demisexuals and greysexuals are not so black and white and can experience SOME specific sexual attraction, but are still considered ace. I'm a demi and I feel like they're basically like me except the person they need to be bonded to to feel sexual attraction is themselves. From what I've seen, autos are generally accepted as ace. But at the end of the day it really depends on how they feel about it personally.
Someone who's a narcissist won't admit that they're a narcissist. They can't comprehend that they aren't perfect, just like how people with god complexes don't *say* that they have a god complex. So, they might not even accept an invitation.
As a pan man, I’ll never experience or understand autosexuality fully. Like I don’t fully understand heterosexuals or homosexuals. But like all over sexualities, if it’s between consenting adults I don’t care and I’ll support you. Too many people care what others do in their bedrooms. It also disheartens me when I hear that some inside the queer community aren’t accepting of different “not mainstream” sexualities. Honestly, I’m ranting at this point, but just let people be who they are
You damn right! I am a narcissist, I am not a pathological narcissist (NPD), just someone obsessed with themselves and with sexual desire for myself only, sometimes I fantasize about doing things to myself!
Honestly, our lives are so short and who gaf if another person identifies or experiences the world in a different way. As long as you are not hurting yourself or others then go chase what makes you happy
Hi, autosexual here! If I had an identical twin, I wouldn't be attracted to them because they're my twin and they aren't me. Being autosexual doesn't imply that you'd be attracted to your identical twin, which is a weird thing for me to feel the need to say, but here we are
You should do an interview with people who are allergic to "everything" (have several allergies). I think it would be interesting to see how those people navigate day to day
Yes!!! I have MCAS along with a few other health conditions, and it causes me to randomly get allergies to almost everything I come in contact with. I just found out I'm allergic to the pneumonia vaccine 😭😭😭
Bruh I'm literally allergic to just soap and people at work try to tell me I can't bring soap (that I'm not allergic to). I'm not getting a rash just to wash my hands. What a nightmare being allergic to more must be. For me, my dad also has this allergy so usually growing up everything in the house was fine, but if I had to wear a jersey in gym it would itch something crazy, I can usually use naturally fragranced, not synthetic soap and deterrgent brands. This is for every kind of soap.
It’s like me with neopronouns. I won’t be able to understand how someone can take their three to four favorite letters of the alphabet and turn it into a pronoun, but if that makes them comfortable and they aren’t hurting anyone that I’m OK with it
DYSLEXIA! (not to intrude on auto sexuals or take away spotlight) dyslexia has alot more then people think and talk about, and we need to be heard! please please sit down with us in the future 👍
Anthony, I just wanna say I super appreciate how you treat everybody with so much care and respect. A lot of your videos have helped me want to explore and educate myself. I have recommended your channel to other people to show them that they are not alone with their thoughts, desires and states of being. Thank you so much for being such a wonderful person and having such an excepting plethora of videos. Hope you have a great day too!
autosexuals have the self love we all strive to have tbch lol! ik it’s more nuanced + complex than that, but i truly admire these ppl who can fully embrace who they are
wow really interesting topic!! nice to see people express their self-love in ways that are so unapologetically them and not worrying about people seeing it as “narcissistic” or self absorbed. Self love is the key to all love 💫❤️🕺🏻
I would love love love to see a video on the condition anosmia. I was diagnosed years ago and it’s very interesting. And Covid has made a huge difference to the topic. (Also I’m 18 and would love to speak about it if so.)
I didn't know that had an actual name. I can't smell anything most of the time. I have a few good days where my nose works (good, or bad, depending on the scent) but, for the most part, I can't smell anything. It really makes me sad when I've shoved my face in a blooming lilac bush and can't smell it, even though it's always been one of my favorite scents. I don't know what caused me to stop having a sense of smell, but it's been like this most of my adult life (I'm in my 30s).
I have parosmia & Phantom Smells. Local hospital blamed covid I never had it.. went to Mayo, diagnosed with Limbic encephalitis and Migraines. The rancid smell of food went away with the steroids but was damage caused by Limbic Encephalitis. Same age group, just really disappointing that in 2021 the local doctors automatically blamed covid and didn't do further research...
wait yo hold up i never knew this had a name !! i lost my sense of smell in 2015, and just kinda continued on w my life in confusion. hold up im about to do a bunch of research
@@AlexanderDaniel it's quite hard doing research on it due to covid, but if you had a serious sinus infection that can cause it too! It's all relating to olfactory damage :)
Weird that anyone would be mad at someone for loving themselves it literally doesn’t hurt anyone. I think society has made it so normal to be insecure and not like stuff about yourself that ppl find it strange, conceited or narcissistic to completely love yourself like being in love with yourself
@@SoulWeasel69 Being a narcissist is believing that people are inferior to you with a need for admiration from others due to the idea that you’re better than those around you in one way or another and lacking empathy. I think it’s unfair to label someone a narcissist for loving themselves sure it’s to a degree in which most people don’t reach but they aren’t hurting anyone and never claim they’re better than the people around them they just don’t have those feelings towards other people which is fair and valid
i think its important to notice that loving yourself isn’t narcissism, narcissism is actually based off of a personality disorder and theres a lot to it. its more of a self obsession to the point that you think theres noone better than you, and that if you hurt others it is their fault and narcissists don’t actually admit really that they are narcissists, they are warped into believing theres nothing better than them. a lot of it is acc manipulation, and being patronising and demanding of others.
@@romangonzalezadrianmaurici6302 Contrary to popular belief, narcissism is driven by deep rooted insecurity rather than an inflated sense of self. Narcissists often need to manipulate and control other people to regulate their own self esteem, and I think that marrying yourself and yeeting other people out of the equation of physical attraction entirely is on the opposite side of that in a way. ;P
Anyone claiming that this is equal to narcissism doesn't understand narcissism (or this sexuality) AT ALL. There is a big difference between a grandiose sense of self and a romantic attraction to yourself.
Agree, but I think this could be really hard to understand. Some people don't even understand homosexuality. Unfortunately not everyone is able to understand things that are outside of what they experienced themselves.
yes. this claim also implies that if you're attracted to someone, you personally think they are better than everyone else. i don't think that's necessarily true.
It’s insane that in a time when the human population is at 8 BILLION and rapidly growing people are complaining about a select few who choose not to contribute to the problem (for whatever the reason). If anything you should be congratulating these people and encouraging them! People just come up with the most illogical excuses to hate on someone.
Freaking exactly! that’s what I’ve been trying to tell people! There are almost 8 billion people in the world, and people decide to get mad at a group that doesn’t even reach 0.1% of that number? Some people need to just accept that this is how the world is, whether they like it or not, and move on with their damn day.
humans love two things, to hate themselves and to hate other humans* *This is even easier when a bunch of insecure people see a person that they love themselves
Hey Anthony, Can you do an I Spent a Day with Narcissistic People (People with NPD)? Narcissism is actually misunderstood, especially with the term Narcissistic Abuse being harmful. As an empath, I would love for you to do an episode debunking myths of Narcissists and the Narcissist community. Same thing with Sociopaths (People with ASPD) as well, those two conditions are extremely misunderstood.
... I don't think "narcissistic abuse" ... is a harmful term. It's just what usually happens, when people struggling with narcissist traits or disorder don't own their issues and use others to care for insecurities and counter their profound and third party inflicted sense of self-worthlessness. Narcissistic folks don't usually choose to cause harm ... it's more of a natural consequence of the dynamics caused by the severe hurt they suffered at very early age.
It’s so crazy to see how far Anthony has came from smosh! he is so respectful, makes such interesting videos and is so open minded. I love watching these videos it really helps me in my studies of mental health and psychology. keep it up anthony!
Personally, as an asexual, I don't think this quite fits with asexuality. I think this should be considered it's own thing because us Aces have a LACK of sexual attraction while the people in this video still have sexual attraction even if it is to themselves. That's my two cents anyway.
Thanks to this series of interviews I actually found out that I'm aromantic. Something I didn't even know was a thing. Thank you Anthony, and everone who's participated. You're doing a lot for people by talking about these things
I wish people would sit down and talk like this more. A lot of the time we see the bad side of people and forget that we are all people. People are too serious about things like this, and these videos are so refreshing.
@@FrostAndTheForest Hang in there we can get through it! What helps me is knowing other people suffer from it too and we are all kind of in it together. That's why I think it's so important to talk about it.
this was so cool! I'm asexual and really into learning more about LGBT+ identities, but I've never heard of autosexual until this video! I'm so happy the awesome peeps featured here and everyone who identifies that way is capable of that level of self-love and finds happiness within themselves :) keep being you!
Curiosity is an awesome thing! I like learning about different sexualities, too. I actually came out recently as autosexual on my TH-cam and am so glad to see that people are generally open minded and validating about it :)
I don't even understand why would anyone had a problem with this. I'm glad these people find their love and if it makes them happy it's nice that they found love:3
the concept of falling in love with yourself and even finding yourself sexually attractive is SO bizarre to me, as someone who hates themselves so fucking much i'll do anything in my day to ruin things for myself bc i feel like i deserve nothing good, this whole video has been a mind fuck. i literally hate everything abt me this is so crazy to my small hatred filled brain 😂
I don’t know if it could help, but being around other people could be a nice distraction. Can’t give any more advice on self-hate, but I wish u the best anyways
Wow... I... I knew I was on the ace spectrum but I didn't know about this. I'm pretty sure I'm autosexual and have had these feelings and habits since childhood. Thank you for this video.
I wasn't even aware autosexuality existed! This is really interesting, especially because I am ace and the fact I didn't realize that this was under the same spectrum as me. Really cool!
I wouldn't say I wish I was auto sexual, but the level of confidence these people have is out of this realm of understanding for me. I'm such an insecure person, so this is so new to me.
Im curious about what its like to have depression or anxiety when you're autosexual, because most people go through tough times in their life, so when you're autosexual, how does that affect you? Like, can you still have a low self-esteem, or do you just never feel those kinds of things thanks to your autosexuality?
Depression and anxiety affect anyone’s relationship, especially with yourself. At least in my experience it’s hard to love yourself when you’re depressed, and that’s what maybe started it in the first place :/. Funky because I thought i was auto quite a while and actually married myself on facebook. But now i’m divorced (due to cheating and neglect)
depression lowers the libido, and medication does too. im bi and demisexual, and it definitely affected me and my past partners. im ok now and the difference is huge
For me, anxiety and depression do get in the way of my autosexuality. It doesn't necessarily mean my attraction to myself disappears, it's more like the depression is a dark cloud obscuring it. It's kinda like how someone might not be in the mood for sex with their partner if they're having mental health issues--doesn't mean they don't love them, it just means they're having a hard time. I talk about this in my own film on Autosexuality on my TH-cam channel, because I figured someone would ask that question ♥
This was very eye opening and I didn't even know this had an actual name so thank you for educating!! This was very interesting and you are such a great interviewer Anthony!🤗 Wishing you lots of positivity and success for 2022 and hope everyone here has an amazing day!!❤🙏
Good for them! Too many people care what others are up to. They're happy, they're not hurting anyone, and they're not hurting themselves, so there's no reason not to support them.
Nothing to do with the sexuality, and I understand that autosexuality is different from narcissism, but I wonder if there is overlap. A couple of these people seem to me to be a bit narcissistic outside of their discussion of their sexuality.
Thank you for this ❤️ I’m queer but I had never heard of autosexuality before this vid. I’m embarrassed to admit I had my own ignorant assumptions going into this video, and you cleared up all of them. Autosexuality is beautiful and absolutely valid
As an asexual the big difference is that asexuals feel little to no sexual attraction towards anyone while autosexuals are at the very least sexually attracted towards themselves so unless they identify on the little side of the asexual spectrum (bc being autosexual means you do feel at least some sexual attraction even if it’s towards oneself) I wouldn’t say autosexual people are asexual
It's a spectrum, so there's a scale. Like I'm demisexual and it still falls under the asexual label. I only want sex with someone I have an emotional bond with. So, I'm not on the 100% line for A but I'm closer to it than the fully heterosexual or homosexual individual. Just like you get a scale with gayness. I'm bisexual but I'm more into guys. That doesn't mean I'm hetero though because I like some girls.
Honestly, I think that in society we live in it's much easier to hate yourself rather than be sexually attracted to yourself. Which is really sad, right? I mean autosexuals don't do ANYTHING bad to ANYONE whatsoever. So, I know that it can be hard but I am actually really jealous. Just wow. It's seems like a peak of self love. I just can't imagine feeling so good with yourself to the point you desire it. I think autosexuality might be the most beautiful sexuality out there. Because it must be true. I mean you say that you can't experience true love if you don't love yourself. And you don't always do, when you're in love with someone else. But you quite have to love yourself to be autosexual. Good for you guys, take care
in a way it’s really cool that consent can always be really clear for these folks :) since they’re sexualizing themselves it doesn’t even have a chance of hurting others and I’m surprised people would ever think bad about autosexuals like they truly are minding their business to the next level - awesome to learn more from these cool folks
This makes total sense to me. I think it's wild that people in this day and age have the opportunity to figure themselves out in this way. "You're not alone" can be such a healing idea.
Anthony, respect. You always present your guests with no judgment and you let we, the viewers, make up our own minds about how we feel about the topic. I really appreciate this when it’s a topic I relate to directly. Thank you.
Ngl I can already see the transphobes jumping on this video and saying that all trans people are like this just because there are trans people in the video. Just want to clarify that trans people are just as diverse as people who aren't trans lol
I love how he's not judging them or being condescending, he's just asking genuine questions that a lot of other people are probably curious about as well. This was very well done.
It's so weird to me that people apparently try to equate autosexuality with narcissism!?! From what I understood from this video, the two sound like complete antithesis to me. Because someone with a narcissistic personality doesn't actually have a secure self love. That's the whole point of the disorder. That's why they're constantly looking for narcissistic supply (validation, admiration, etc) from other people and often end up manipulationg people into thinking they're 'below' the narcissist. That outside valitdation is actually necessary to justify and confirm a narcissist's inflated self image in their own head. Someone who looks within themselves for that validation and love is definitely not a narcissist! I can't follow thist logic unless the person making that accusation thinks autosexuality is in itself a performance for other people. And in that case, the whole argument really says more about the person making that accusation in the first place than it does about autosexuality...
I think autosexuality is totally valid. I also think it probably shouldn't be under the ace umbrella and rather be it's own sexuality. Because asexuality is the absence of sexual attraction. Autosexuality seems to me like it's an absence of sexual attraction to OTHERS, but you still experience sexual attraction (to yourself).
The general consensus is that having any sort of lack, complete or partial, in 'regular' sexual attraction puts you under the asexual umbrella. But it's seems skewed to me, some of those people might actually be much "closer" to allosexuality, it being a spectrum and all, and it feels weird to group them under the same umbrella as someone who is completely asexual and sex repulsed or very close to it. It's been bothering me for awhile now and I think there should definitely be a third in-between option for people who don't feel like they belong to either the allosexual or asexual side. Me for example, I don't experience sexual attraction in the traditional way at all and by the defintion of sexual attraction I apparently don't even experience it, but I know that I experience something, and it is definitely sexual, and I don't feel asexual in anyway, but for obvious reasons am nothing alike allosexual people either. I really wish that there was some label for it, that isn't about defining how my sexual attraction is lacking but rather how it is alternative to the norm but still there.
I'm sorry but this is not a sexuality. A sexuality is attrection to people in relation to gender. These are just people that have a healthy level of self love which has been so alienated in our society that these people feel like they need a label for it. Not to say these people aren't valid but this is more akin to a fetish and "autophile" would be way more descriptive.
@@ToastedTreasure it's really not tho... sexuality is regarding your attraction towards other people (or no attraction, ie asexual). finding yourself attractive is not a sexuality. I find myself attractive just as much as I find other women attractive, because I'm confident in myself and my appearance. nowadays we have to accept everything as a sexuality and it makes the community look like a joke. "autosexuals" have nothing in common with lesbians or bisexuals or gays. (note: I haven't watched this video in 10 months because that's when I made my comment but my opinion is the same)
I wouldn't want to see myself sexually. It would make me feel sick and dirty. I've known me since being a baby. I am my safe space/place of comfort. I love myself a lot, but sexually? Hell, that would ruin everything(for me)
As long as people are happy and not hurting anyone, they should be accepted, and anyone who is not cis gender, heteroromantic and hetrosexual should be welcome at pride.
I’d consider a person narcissistic when they are so obsessed with themselves and so selfish that they neglect the people close to them. Mainly the lack of empathy defines it for me. So just because you’re autosexual or preach self love doesn’t mean you’re narcissistic. You CAN be autosexual and narcissistic if the lack of empathy and neglect of people close to you ALSO shows though

"Why do you care?" is honestly such a powerful question. It can be used in so many LGBTQ+ situations. Why DO people care so much when they're not even involved in it? People like what people like, that's no one else's business.
Yeah, but a lot of people are nosy… 😔
"I'm cool with all of this, just very nosy" would be my personal answer 😂 There's no excuse for being very invasive or disrespectful though

@@chocolatedonut6312 I think they meant being sexually attracted to anyone.

I see no reason to love what I see in the mirror. There is so many things I've done I just can't
I think loving yourself in a non narcissistic manner is just having neutral feelings or less focus on yourself actually. It is kind of bizarre to me that someone can sexually love themselves. Its not an issue at all if they're not causing any problems to others but Im not sure if its healthy.

@@romangonzalezadrianmaurici6302 Contrary to popular belief, narcissism is driven by deep rooted insecurity rather than an inflated sense of self. Think im autosexual after watching this vid and my attraction deff goes down if im feeling insecure
depression lowers the libido, and medication does too. im bi and demisexual, and it definitely affected me and my past partners. im ok now and the difference is huge

Nothing to do with the sexuality, and I understand that autosexuality is different from narcissism, but I wonder if there is overlap. A couple of these people seem to me to be a bit narcissistic outside of their discussion of their sexuality.
I would love to know who! (Not in a rude way of course, I’m just curious)
I completely agree with you
I just stared at myself in the mirror & straight up said “nope”
the thumbnail… you didn’t have to do her like that…
Always so exited for every upload!
in a way it’s really cool that consent can always be really clear for these folks :) since they’re sexualizing themselves it doesn’t even have a chance of hurting others and I’m surprised people would ever think bad about autosexuals like they truly are minding their business to the next level - awesome to learn more from these cool folks
As an Asexual I have no idea how someone looks at another like "I think they look hot" or "I look hot" This ep perplexed me but its very interesting.
yessss🤣
This makes total sense to me. I think it's wild that people in this day and age have the opportunity to figure themselves out in this way. "You're not alone" can be such a healing idea.
People should just be able to be the way they are and not have to worry about being called names or bullied for it
Anthony, respect.
Well if things like demisexual are included, I don't see why autosexuality wouldn't.
@@etta5487 Demi sexuality is still having a lack of sexual attraction, even though it goes away when you get to know someone
@@Commentingstuff yeah and autosexuality is a lack of sexual attraction...to other people
@@WishGender I’ve never thought of it like that, that’s true
I really wish that there was some label for it, that isn't about defining how my sexual attraction is lacking but rather how it is alternative to the norm but still there.
these people need therapy
So you do. There's nothing wrong with therapy and we can all use some
I'm sorry but this is not a sexuality. A sexuality is attrection to people in relation to gender. These are just people that have a healthy level of self love which has been so alienated in our society that these people feel like they need a label for it.
Not to say these people aren't valid but this is more akin to a fetish and "autophile" would be way more descriptive.
I agree as a lesbian. I don't really understand this as a sexuality, but if it makes sense to them, I guess that's what matters
Shhhhhhhh
@@ghostgrl6I wouldn't call it a typical "sexuality" but it's still part of the LGBTQ+ because it's not conventional or straight
(note: I haven't watched this video in 10 months because that's when I made my comment but my opinion is the same)
Omg! Before this, I was aroace. But now I might be aroace autosexual???
Get help
Your valid!!
