David, just wanted to say thanks. Felt this review was very informative and also gave us an idea of how you in particular felt about the game and maybe why. It shows you're listening, you care and can take feedback. Chit Chat seems to be a good way to hear about the games you like, but if course those are very separated from the reviews. Regardless, keep up the good work.

I think you might have made an error in describing the bonus for spending a coin in phase II (planting). It doesn't give you a face down draw from any of the three size stacks. It lets you look through the size 1 or 2 stacks (but not size 3) and choose which tile you want to take.

This is another great video guys. We got this at xmas, played twice and really enjoy it. I'm very had at this game though, I find it really hard to have a coherent strategy, my daughter OTOH is killing it (and me).

I just played this, and I like it much better than Heaven and Ale. I think it has slipped under the radar for a lot of gamers (2017 was a phenomenal year), which is too bad, because this is just an excellent and fun Euro.

A great review as always. But about the game... this is yet another Euro that has simply too many ways to score points, and too many factors that affect your score (i.e., where your Harbor Master is in relation to others, or who has the most agents in New Orleans only serves to complicate the scoring that you get for those workers already).
So you get points for this and you get points for that and you get bonus points for having that. And don't forget the points you get for this and that condition also!
Makes my head spin. As you can tell, I much prefer games that haver fewer and more discernable objectives.

you guys are informative but very tough to listen too, you talk with such monotone voices and show no emotion in what you're doing, one guys talks too fast one guy talks too slow. Hire a voice coach and make that your new years resolution, I'm sure this channel will take off at that point. one more note, get someone for wardrobe as well you look like you just walked into the studio from the street and sat down and started talking.
I'm actually stuck watching this video, I looked all over for another source but had to come back here. Very disapointed.

Kevin Queen why do you care what their wearing? I’m watching this to learn how the game plays and get their opinions on it not to judge their fashion.

Kevin Queen This video is so bad but yet you are still watching it because no one else has a review of the game. If this video is so bad why don’t you read the rule book? Rulebooks explain how the game is played? Since you seem to know so much about the production of a TH-cam channel that covers board games where is your channel? How many views do you have? Why aren’t you explaining the game? Is it too complex for you to understand the rules? If you don’t like it don’t watch it because lots of people love this channel and I happen to be one of them. Why are you tearing down people that have a passion for gaming?

Kevin Queen Your New Years resolution should be not to be a hater!

@Matt Tinnell, I cant tell if your kidding or really offended. So I'll pretend you're offended and reply to you.
There isn't a rulebook available yet for download.
I don't need a channel there are enough good ones out here to entertain me.
They put a lot of effort into running their channel yet is get only a few views...hmmm let's start to re-think how we process information before you go spouting off about really things you have no clue about.
I'm just tired of people who half-ass it through life and those who appease those who do.
I stopped the video at 2:54 cause I couldn't stomach it any longer.
I don't have a channel because I am frying bigger fish.
Also between the two of us, I was the only one who offered any advice.
Btw, I watch youtube channels full-time, it's my lot in life.

Kevin Queen No offense to David and Jeremy, but Kevin makes some good points, to which I agree.
It’s okay to be critical- if only people took honesty without being instantly defensive.
I work in video production for a living (not on my own channel, but for a major int’l news outlet) and I admire the level of production which MvM clearly put into every episode they produce. From the graphics to the set design, the still photos, animations, you guys work hard on this and it shows.
That said however, I have a hard time following your videos and how the games you review play because you go into too much detail in the rules and I lose track of what it’s actually like to play the game.
There just too much minutiae here. Your conversation should start with the goal of the game, what you can do on your turn, some gameplay examples and noteworthy mechanics. That’s it. If I wanted a comprehensive rundown of every rule, guess what? I’d read the manual.
You need to work on your energy levels and the camaraderie between you, not always in discussing the rules. Do that and I’ll keep coming back. In the meantime, I only stop by occasionally, usually because you cover games others don’t.
