    Don't worry we all understand that you have to do more then just shrimp stuff. And we do appreciate all the love and hard work you put into everything you have done so far and can't wait for what else you have in store for the future of your channel. Keep up the great work, Mark.

    Love to watch your fish and shrimp. Have you considered posting some stationery (or slow-moving) videos of just your tanks? Perhaps with screen notes regarding what's/who's in view. They would make great, soothing accompaniment while working at a desk etc. with some nice music.

    Adding some Pothos plants to a fry tank is great because it absorbs nitrites in through its roots, but I would still do the 50% twice weekly water changes as Mark recommends. The Pothos works as a buffer zone to prevent your nitrites becoming too high. The roots will give the fry places to hide if you decide to leave the parents in with the fry for a while.

    Beautiful angel babies! I kept my first spawn in with my shrimpie too! I didn't have any other tank available at the time, but the angels and shrimpies both did great!
    My husband and I love your videos. We are always getting new ideas! TOO MANY ideas 😜
    (psssssttt... sponges take care of ammonia and nitrIte, nitrAte is the end product and needs the anaerobic bacteria... I always have to double-check myself too when explaining 🙂)

  • @Criterion515
    @Criterion515 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Those endler hybrids really turned out outstanding! Nice job on those. I could just watch hours of that kind of footage with just them swimming around any time. Endlers are my favorite as well, I love to see their little jiggly dance lol. I have a tank with 1 black bar and about 4 female guppies of various strains atm. Waiting to see what comes out of that. I do have a couple of tanks with all my males, a few fancy guppies but mostly hybrids. I didn't get much out of my tubs this year, I think the water was too shaded and cool for them to really multiply. I will rethink my placement for next summer. :)

    Lovely camera work, great for all us oldies that need magnifying glass and glasses to appreciate the smaller critters. I have about 12 ppm nitrate in my water as it comes out of the tap like that so bit of a prob. Like you say, bio home media sounds like it would help reduce or pothos plant. I've heard a deep sand bed helps but would take time I guess. RO system looking more and more likely! I'm a snail lover! 🐌💕

    When you do a shrimp tanks set up Mark can you do it with just a sponge filter rather than a trickle filter. I know you can buy these corner cannister type filters from amazon but can you use ready to buy filters for those out there that haven't got the means to build one. Cheers Mark, you're a star!

    Nice video as always. These angel fry took how many months to grow up to a sellable size ? Also if you can suggest some fish to breed whose fry grows up around 3 months to a decent size. I have very limited space and I am using every inch of it carefully still I need less turnaround time of each breeding cycle. Sorry for bothering to so much. I am bingeing you video everyday and I have so much to ask 🙂

    Id be interested in seeing a shrimp tank set up video as well. I was watching this one and noticed you have some condensation in your heater in your sakura tank. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on that since lately i've had a few heaters go buggy on me. Have you noticed stray voltage or how ever its called in those tanks? Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing you're passion.

    • @MARKSAQUATICS
      @MARKSAQUATICS  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jason. I've had that heater for many years and it still keeps temp ok. In my opinion buy the best heater you can, people spend hundreds on stock and then buy a cheap heater it breaks and they lose all there fish.

      A good trick when putting on a airline is dip the end in to boiling water and it will go very soft.
