Hi Mark, I normally don't leave a lot of comments, but since your first video, I've been wanting to. However, as I was watching your video, my Albino Corydoras had been spawning for a little while and then all went crazy with the other females and other types of corydoras!!! I have literally been sitting here for almost 6 hours of amazement in this process. I have had them at least 4 years, but this is the ONLY time that I have caught them at the beginning of spawning. I won't go on and on, but I just want to THANK YOU so much for these videos which have put a silly smile on my face for hours now. It's awesome when you find others that really appreciate the love and pleasure that the little "creatures" of the world can give! God Bless!
Sorry if I comet any mistake on my English, I saw all the 3 videos that you made, I'm already over 60 years old, never saw something like this before, in this hobby since my 13 years old, fantastic thing that you did for us that love this hobby, sharing what you know with people like me and others, the most important thing that I see, is you do this for the same reason that I take hours watching your videos, love to this hobby, I'm very happy that I found your channel, please never give up, stay safe and well, you and your family.
Hi Mark the best fry raising video on TH-cam by miles really rewarding I myself have raised Emerald and Bronze Corridoras brilliant little fish can’t wait to see more videos 👍🏼
Wow! I think I missed Biology in High School and now finding what I missed. I thank you so much for these videos! I am having a blast watch them and in this case discovering even yet another level of the aquarium world I only discovered a few months ago. Microbiology.. Wow!
That is unreal footage and I want to thank you for your dedication to not only the hobby but for us to learn more and you are right in saying we dont see this on any other utube videos thankyou and well done!
I'm so glad I came across your channel mark.....the knowledge you have is absolutely incredible....and more over the fact that your willing to take your time to share with thousands of us says loads about you....just incredible. Thank you!!
Mark I heard they are looking for camera man on the next production of the Blue Planet I think you should apply well done I think it is great video....love the vids 👍
I have bred corydora (couple of species) countless times but never seen it all happen in such detailed magnified vision, purely amazing mate 👍 great vid and thanks for the micro ultra zoomed insight, best Ebay fiver ever spent 😉😁 might invest in one to spot my shrimplets 😂🤣😂 keep it up mark, great stuff and truly inspiring 👍
Thank you for your videos. You have definitely changed my perspective on the hobby and made it far more enjoyable since a year ago when I first started watching your videos and breeding my own fish. Thank you!
I love watching your videos! I've never really thought about breeding any fish. After watching your videos, I'm really considering it. Before I could even decide which of my fish I wanted to breed. I got a really big surprise. My cory catfish in my community tank took it upon themselves. While feeding one evening. I saw a small catfish come out to feed. I found 5 and removed them. The next day I found eggs, I was able to remove 3 before they were all ate. A few days later, I was able to save 4 more eggs. The first 3 have hatched, still waiting to see if I get more from the 4 eggs. I was so surprised by this. I'm planning on building them up again and breeding them in separate tank.
Just recently came across your channel and it is great. Found the three about breeding corys and it is so detailed out step by step. I recently bought corys and they started laying eggs. I know what to do now. Thanks so much! I subscribed!
This is so amazing to see. And by seeing it, it also gets easier to understand about the waterworld. Thank you so much, for taking the time to put this on video.
I have albino and bronze they don't seem to of crossed yet, But I've had no end of eggs of the albinos currently on batch number 4., Its so nice to see it through your camera lense Mark, Thank you.
Hi Mark - I've just come back into the hobby after almost 40 years and have learned so much from all of your videos, you really do put the work in to produce these fantastic and very informative programmes. I've just had some bronze cory s hatch and am hoping to bring them on using the information gleaned. Many thanks, you're a star!
Awesome stuff mate, the macro footage is very nice. I save the odd cory egg now and then in a hang on breeder box. I don't have the tank room to look after as many as you lol. I just love how corys look like perfect miniature adults after a few weeks, then I pop them in the main tank to hide until they're all grown out. I have to say that keeping them in the breeder tank makes them far less shy than the adults they came from. Pretty much always at the front of the tank and not hiding away till lights out like their parents. Keep up the good work :)
Great video...I've been in the hobby just 2yrs my first fish were bandit Cory's and Harlequin Rasboras upgraded from a 65ltr to a 180ltr after finding some eggs on the glass put them into small tank on their own but only one survived, so he/she was on their own in the tank, in the meantime I was setting up the 180ltr taking some of the plants from the 65ltr when I discovered there was already a baby Cory in the tank with mam and dad, so I put the other fry in with the family once big enough and thought let nature take its course so after starting out with 4 Cory's I now have eggs hatching every 2weeks and more Cory's than I can count ,newly laid eggs on the dwarf grass this morning and now the harlequins are starting to do their dance looks like more on the way.... Keep the videos coming I need guidance lol
amazing footage Mark, I thought I was watching a documentary on the BBC for a moment, joking aside it's brilliant work so many of us fish keepers would not take the time to do what you're doing online,Thank you 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks Mark ,by chance we got a large spawning of Corys in the last 24 hours since we watched yesterday's video.. Isn't technology great. Not our first Cory fry but just like you we are enjoying it .
Excellent video Mark First time I'm seeing egg development and hatch. Thanks alot mate. Could you do one on growing bbs to adults brineshrimps? Parameters and feeding requirements. Excited to see their developments as they grow.👍👍👍👍
Hi Mark this is my favourite video of yours, absolutely loved it. How amazing was the footage you got us and so nice to share it with you. I can't thank you enough for the time and effort you put into making these videos for us, brilliant 😊
Hi Mark just watching your video for the first time new at aquarium meeting if that’s the right word your videos are truly inspiring shall we say and I’m going to try and have baby fish and need to watch your videos a lot more anyway thanks superb photography as well by the way my name is Michael I’m from Warrington bye for now I’m going back to watch one of your videos
Hello Mark it’s Mike in Warrington I’ve been watching your videos they are fantastic I would just like to ask you is it possible that you could put me in touch with somebody where I could buy shrimp for my tank not really sure how to work this TH-cam thing actually you’re the first person I contacted on TH-cam in my life or could you text me on my mobile oh7967-3010 45
your breeding videos are THE best on youtube! they are just awesome, very informative and complete. We can really feel your passion for the hobby! I really don't understand why you do not have more subscribers, this content is GOLD! keep it up! :)
So freakin awesome I absolutely love your channel explains everything and as of probly a month or so now I started noticing I have baby Corey doors and my tank bronze or green
This series plus the one on breeding pygmy cories is totally amazing. They have reawakened my love of nature and biology. How do the shrimp handle the temperature change you use to get the corys ready? I thought shrimp were very sensitive to changes?
Wow, that was amazing, you’d better listen out for a phone call from David Attenborough, if he sees this he’ll want you filming the next series of blue planet lol
Thanks Mark for some very interesting footage. My Bronze Cory are spawning like mad today. I'm frantically setting up a nursery tank for the eggs now but I have a couple questions. 1. If I remove the eggs from the glass should I try to stick them to something in the new tank? 2. What size food to feed them once the yolk sac has been used up. Would Walter worms be small enough?
Just put the eggs in grow out tank, no need to stick them to anything. They will absorb the yolk sack in a couple of days then feed powdered flake food freshly hatched brine shrimp or micro worms. 😀👍
@@MARKSAQUATICS thank you so much. I have a Walter worm culture on the go and some tetramin baby so hopefully that will do the job. I'll order in some frozen baby brine shrimp for week 2 ish. Thanks again and looking forward to future videos. I followed your guide on leopard danios and my dry ate all doing great so thank you.
Amazing video as always from you. About how many would you say make it to adult stage of the ones that hatch? 50%? Just curious. Thank you for all that you share.

@@MARKSAQUATICS do you know of a hardier species of Cory that can live in pH 8 water. I'd love some but I know they thrive in lower pH?
Really enjoyed that Mark.

Love these guys. Great video! What will you do with all the babies?
I will reluctantly take them to my local fish store. I do get very attached to them.
Great job Mark wonderful footage. Can you tell me what fish for you is hardest to breed? Is there a fish you dont have that you would like to breed?
Puffers are tricky. Would love to breed arowanas. 😀👍
This series plus the one on breeding pygmy cories is totally amazing. They have reawakened my love of nature and biology.

Cherry shrimp are very hardy. 😐🦐
Amazing. Thanks mate
That was fascinating! Thank you for this amazing footage. Are they blind when they are born? It almost looks like it.
Yes they develop over a few days. 😊👍

Do pygmy Cory's breed with larger Cory's, such as bronze and albino etc?

Will angelfish eat the eggs or the corydoras fry?
What heater do you use? I've been looking for a reliable heater that is not too expensive
Can you use this technique on Panda Corys ?
Truly amazing!!!!!
It was squirming in that egg like Alien.
