I’m so glad this stream was my introduction to competitive peggle. It was absolutely epic and kept us all on our toes. Also was super cool that Eric won his first game ever
peggle is such a well-made game because you can take some people like pointcrow who is a straight up noob and some shots that you shoot just slaughter because of the free ball bucket, or moving parts, or powerups. like. it makes everyone feel powerful and it's so addicting to watch for the same reason

Peggle along with a lot of early xbox live arcade/psn games proves how simple of creatures we are. We can go from super hardcore brutal bloody games where even the devil would blush. Then we have games like Peggle and Marble Blast Ultra and have the absolute time of our lives. Just one of those games where you can sink into your couch or chair while getting massive boosts of dopamine.
Magic Hat definite the kinda guy to bring his guitar to parties, but turns out to know good songs instead of wonderwall and a basic 4 chord strum pattern
the best thing about this is that dougdoug has literally nothing to lose. if he drinks olive oil, that's just a bit less olive oil he has to drink later in the day. if he wins, he's the guy that beat a game twice before an actual speedrunner could beat it once.
It's a special kind of irony that Doug has cooking analogies for the majority of his videos yet he actually hates the task so much that he just resorts to slamming back olive oil

Oh my goodness, I remember playing this game! I also remember that it took me forever to beat it, since the final levels were really hard. This brings back a lot of PS3 memories. Also, I know how bad oil tastes. MCT oil may not be at all the same thing, especially because it's tasteless, but the texture is just, BLEH.

To be fair that's vegetable oil so I think a lot is fine, some even take a tablespoon of coconut oil as a food supplement too.
