To get the look he as to tuck his upper lip into itself which gives it that over bite look. But he can only do it for a short period of time. Such as a 5 minute sketch. He'd really hurt himself if he had to do that for 90 minutes to 2 hours.
Shanethefilmmaker As advanced as technology is nowadays, I doubt it would be a strenuous task to just CGI Carrey's upper lip. Hell, majority of the things we even see in movies now are CGI, but the tech teams are so skilled at what they do, you barely notice.

But that's beside the point. All they would have to do for Carrey is the same thing the did for him in the Mask, make a full facial prosthetic with a fake overbite in place of the upper lip. Just like how his teeth were inhumanly white when he was wearing the Mask, those were fake too.
I love how when Jim first started doing Bill, he’d say *Let me show ya somethin’* in a calm relaxed tone of voice. And as it went on more and more it evolved into him just screaming *LET ME SHOW YA SOMETHIN’* at the top of his lungs like a crazed maniac. 😂💀
