A box of spider wrap covered by a spider wrap would be funny.
Here's another test: See how much current it will take to overload the PCB causung it to fail or blow a fuse that could possibly be inside. I ordered some to play with also. Let me know if you are going to do a video because I will definitely do one if you dont have the time.
I’m working at a electronic warehouse and once one of the Apple Watch alarms didn’t stop even the wires are cutted. So I smashed it to the floor but still no results. Then I brought it outside and gave it the mafia treatment. I fed it spaghetti and and few months later we got married and having a happily life

@@hysojin6156 neodymium magnets. you can get em online anywhere.. they work perfect. I use the fishing magnets because they're bigger.

What kind of wire is used between the aligator clips and what gauge? I am curious now.
My mother had one of these on her packages she bought from Walmart and it didn’t even sound the alarm when she walked out the door? She paid for the item through self check out and didn’t have a clue what the antitheft device was
You would’ve thought the Lauren would’ve went off when she walked out the door lol
any way to reset the buzzer or do you just have to wait the 5 mins
I had no idea about these spider alarm things and received a package I ordered from Walmart that had one. I took wire cutters and cut the wire. The alarm went off. I covered it to muffle the alarm while trying to break it open, which I couldn't. The alarm stopped after about two minutes. So I say just cut the wire and muffle it somehow. It will turn off on its own after a couple of minutes.
There's much easier ways to do it but I would say probably one of the easiest ways for someone that isn't necessarily mechanically inclined just look at the alarm itself and where the vent holes are where you would hear the actual speaker behind it chirping the noise just take a nail place it over the little grill where the speakers behind and just give it one good tap with a hammer and it'll go right through the speaker and it'll shut up instantly

I mean, it's a neat demonstration, but this isn't a realistic bypass for the field. But nice proof of concept.
Why would you ever want to buy pasta in the field? You're gonna very easily make a key for these using neodymium magnets in a specific orientation, Which is easily able to be found lterally on this particular website
I found your tiktok and it led me here! I'm curious to see the inside of one of there like how hard is it to "pop" it open is it factory sealed for 0 entry ever and do you think you could try and make a opening tool? Maybe 3D printer!
There is a seam, there has to be to be able to put the tweeter in so I'm sure you can pop it open with a flat head if you try hard enough

So are you saying towards the end of the video if the alligator clips are removed after you cut behind the alligator clips that the alarm will sound? Or were you saying that the security spider tag is basically useless now? Could the alligator clips be reused multiple times? Or after removal will the alarm sound is when I'm asking...
When the clips are eventually removed, the circuit is broken. If not disarmed, yes the alarm would sound.
You can use the clips as often as you like, but the only way to defeat the alarm is to maintain continuity in the electric signal.
He simply made a different continous loop of wire with temporary connections. This method is useless in the field, it can't really be applied to attempt property theft, as you would be super suspect hunched over, trying to strip the wire coating on 2 locations then attaching additional equipment (the clips,) before clearly clipping the security device.
Security will be very interested in your project before it's completed... I dont see this as being useful for anything other than proving how the device works and doesn't work. (Yes to electric signal disruption, no to tension change/release. That means it won't sound the alarm simply because the wires are no longer pulling the same degree as when it was set. Their tightness is changed but the alarm does not go off.
Much easier to acquire an alpha key, or tape some rare earth neodymium magnets behind 2 properly spaces square plastic posts. Same thing.

Yes but doesn’t using a magnet or the spider lock key initially unlock the wires BUT leave a 1-2 second alarm beep? Your test rendered the spider dead quiet
I bought a computer last year at best buy. They forgot to take it off. It did not go off when I left. When I cut it at home cause no way I was going to go back just to get it off. Did not go off when I cut it. It did go off when I pulled the wire after cutting it.
I ended up putting it in a glass of water till it quit shrieking

@@IamRyanYung i fulled up pot of water and dropped it into the water. It was barley audible in the water and stopped after about 5 minutes

i tested it with a magnet many times at my local walmart😂 I can confirm it actually works... literally takes me 3 seconds to get these off with a magnet.

I be damn it freaking really works first time it didn't we learn that you have to remove black coding but MAKE SuRE you have one wire that MOVE BACK and FORWARD and ONE WIRE DONT MOVE BACK and FORWARD WHAT'S SO EVENER. But REMEMBER DON'T don't try to try to use the back and forth wire where the alligator clips are using it will not work make sure it's one that moves back and forth and one that don't move at all then it will work I'm sorry you need to be more specific but me and my boyfriend absolutely love the video and it actually work the second time
