Claudia is very likable and many of the people on the panel shows and stuff she is on are good friends with her, she's easy to get along with. I love her in the panel shows, especially when she was young she's was adorably cute and sexy. She didn't age well, but her humor and personality continue to be great.

It absolutely is Adam Buxton AKA Bill Crouse. And all the three protagonists in IT Crowd basically play themselves. That's one of the reasons it's so great.
Sandi is one of the most beloved brains in UK shows, right there along with Stephen Fry. She started off in the panel shows as what she once was, a extremely smart and brainy nerd, a lesbian who grew up a little isolated and introverted due to how she looked and her higher education. As she started doing the panel shows and tv, she started to open up and get comfortable about people, and others started to realize just how smart, likable and funny she was. So much that she took over hosting QI from Stephen Fry when he left the show that he headed for so long and became everyone's lovable mom and friend and an excellent tv personality. It's amazing to look back to the old shows to see how she used to be, and how she is now.
I think people here in UK wonder how the hell James got so famous.. He's been really lucky with mediocre talent let's be honest when others haven't... Seems to be animosity from other actors I guess

Oh for sure, Sandy Toksvig is super smart and quick as a whip, she was always my favourite contestant on QI and when Stephen retired she became the host, I'm not sure if you've reacted to QI yet but you'd fecking love it as you love comedy panel shows, and for me QI and Shooting Stars are the two best comedy panel shows ever.

A lot of UK comedians are generally exaggerated versions of themselves, usually from doing live comedy, which is why they aren't that much different to their characters. Even being on panel shows, (of which there are many), they are still acting to some degree.

The thing with ' The It Crowd', none of them were really acting. They just went with their own personalities.... I think the name of the movie was 'Cloverville 2' or something. The actor that plays 'Roy' was in it, and he played it in the same character.
As Stewart Lee commented about James Corden "Britain's loss is America's loss also", but to be fair that was part of a really funny skit Stewart Lee did on James Corden as part of his TV show, basically Corden had said in the press that Lee was one of his favourite comedians, so Lee (who has said this in interviews since) thought the funniest reaction to that would to pretend to be disgusted by Corden liking him, the skit is in on YT, you should watch it.

@@DaxRaider It's true everyone is one kind of son of a bitch or another. Some are simply more prone to it under certain circumstances. And certain personalities are indeed attracted to certain jobs.
That is true of becoming a celebrity with a few exceptions, all the way to becoming a cop, or a CEO of some company.
James Cordon, indeed in my circle not many like him and the reason is that he is perceived as insincere and a hypocrite, also overrated. I would also like to echo the sentiment and apologise to USA for sending him over to you but if you could keep him it would be really really appreciated.
The reason behind the hate for James Corden is apparently he's a terrible person to people, whether that's random people or people he works with, some stories recently came out about how obnoxious and entitled he is worth checking out, that and he's not particularly funny

I don't "hate" James Corden, I just think he's a funt.
People used to love James Corden. He wrote and starred in his own sitcom. But he got big headed and full of himself and people sort of hate him now. He moved to the US for a chat show. He did the car pool karaoke that people loved, but treated people in real life like shit.

A lot of UK comedians are generally exaggerated versions of themselves, usually from doing live comedy, which is why they aren't that much different to their characters.
Even being on panel shows, (of which there are many), they are still acting to some degree.
I look forward to The Big Fat quiz every year. Its the Wrestlemania of comedian panel shows... probably because they're all allowed a drink.

The thing with ' The It Crowd', none of them were really acting. They just went with their own personalities.... I think the name of the movie was 'Cloverville 2' or something. The actor that plays 'Roy' was in it, and he played it in the same character.
As Stewart Lee commented about James Corden "Britain's loss is America's loss also", but to be fair that was part of a really funny skit Stewart Lee did on James Corden as part of his TV show, basically Corden had said in the press that Lee was one of his favourite comedians, so Lee (who has said this in interviews since) thought the funniest reaction to that would to pretend to be disgusted by Corden liking him, the skit is in on YT, you should watch it.

James Cordon replaced Craig Ferguson on your American telly vision. That is why he is hated. He also appeared in Cats as a cat that failed to lick his own truncheon (probably, I've never been able to watch that movie).. end of story

I don’t have a problem with corden. I liked his talk show. I really enjoyed Gavin and Stacey. I think Uk dislikes him because when he was younger he was an arrogant dick. You can’t hold grudges, just move on.
He's still arrogant. Some of his work - including Horne and Corden, LVK & Cats - are dreadful.

Did you recognize, during the fingering bit, Bill Crouse from the Haunting of Bill Crouse episode of IT Crowd? Also, Richard Ayoade is on many episodes of BFQ. I’d say well over half from the last ten years.
