Thanks Oscar. I have been wailing for being current/EB2/outside US. Final action date is so closed to my PD=March/27/2023 and DQ=Nov 2023, but since I am Iranian, possibly will be stopped by travel ban in Jan 2025 if D. Trump gets elected.
@@OscarsGreenCard Thanks again Oscar. I am afraid it happens again same back to 2017 since EB is immigrant visa. I have been living in Prague since 2016 and will do interview here.
@zahraaliakbartehrani795 my guesstimate is that we won't see any movement in ROW in the September 2024 VB also. However, there will be a good (min 60 day) advancement in the October 2024 VB.
Hi Oscar, can you kindly make a video on predictions for Sept 2024 VB? As per the I485 Inventory data published by USCIS in April, there are total of 42k pending I485 (20k ROW, 4K China, 16k India and about 2k for Philippines + Mexico) and we have about 56k GCs available in EB1 for 2024 (7%of 161,000 + 10k EB5 spillover). So if we see this data, there is a good chance that we will have a surplus of 10k+ GCs that can be made available to India and/or China. If that's the case, we should see 6-9 months movement for EB1 India in Sept. Now I understand that the data is a little outdated (as of April 2024) and it does not include NVC processing, but it still seems there will be some spillovers. Would love to get your view on this. Thanks

Hi Oscar thanks for the video. Table A (15MAR2023) and Table B (22MAR2023) are almost equal in terms of date. Does it imply that your Excel plot predictions will be the same for Table A and Table B? So people under table B will not have any advantage compared with Table A, when they have to follow Table B instead of Table A.
Hi Edgar, first of all my plots are not predictions, they are just the historical data. I don't try to predict. Second, if they two tables are close enough yes, but typically B is more beneficial, from a few weeks to a few months depending on the moment.
Hi Oscar. Hope you're doing well. So when the EB-2 NIV application gets approved will the date to action be the date you submitted your application or the date your application got approved? Thanks.
I Oscar, thank you for making this video. Pls I'm from Nigeria and I am a Resident in US. I have already had my masters here and currently doing my PhD. My question is can I file for Eb1a? Thank you
@OscarsGreenCard How long is NVC taking to communicate Applicant's after their PD becomes current? I came current in July, no comms as yet from NVC neither the CEAC is active to uploading civil docs. Very confusing!😢
For NIW you don't upload documents to CEAC; you submit them by mail following the instructions they give you. Until you don't pay fees, submit DS-260 and submit documents, they won't call you. And depending on the consulate/embassy it can take many months
@@OscarsGreenCard sent on email, but received a not accepted email back. The email I received back says my case is not enrolled in the electronic application category; and hence not legible to send civil docs by email, and asks to follow the instruction from NVC. But, NVC did not share any comms on how to send civil docs. Very very confusing.
Has anyone added EB2 visas from the monthly immigrant visa issuance report by chargeability area located at the USCIS website. I have added EB2 visas issued from Oct-23 to May 24, and the numbers add up to 7904 visas. It's an awfully law number given that eight month in the year have already passed. Even if we extrapolate this number to the entire year we'll get 12 thousand visas, which is still less that half of the quota. My question is why is this number so low? Does the number reported under this category also contain petitioners' family members?
As far as I know there is no monthly report from USCIS. There is a report from State and that is for visas issued abroad only. Fom USCIS data, last year they approved more than 80K I-140s, which is a very high number as I-140 only includes the principal applicant and not the family members.
@@sabeenaammad2099 yes I applied for it and my pd has been current since last month but Islamabad embassy has not sent any interview letter even to cases far before me I am worried
Hi Oscar, I was wondering if you need to show your tax files at AOS stage? Also if your family member (US born child e.g.) receives snap, does it affect the case ? Thank you!
For EB2 it's not possible to apply concurrently today based on the visa bulletin. For EB1 it is possible . The median processing time is around 4 months now.
