I've watched make up artists on TH-cam talk about "lifting" and eyeliner having to go upwards since I was like 15, now I'm 27 and have just discovered the puppy dog eyeliner and all of a sudden my make up looks 10x better. I don't think everyone has to create a lift effect with their make up and I wish I new this earlier.

Thisss. And not just with lifting eye makeup. The whole lifting makeup doesn't look flattering on every face shape. The lifting blush placement looks so bad on me, but blush on the cheeks looks amazing and fresh.
It's all preference, but I love how you don't use any background music or excessive cheerfulness in your voice. The energy of your vids is just so genuine.
I have slightly downturned eyes and I’ve found the best eye look for me is following my natural lines. I never thought liner suited me because I only ever tried doing the wings. Now I just extend my lash line downwards with my pencil liner maybe 5mm. It gives no lifting effect obviously but it makes my eyes look so big! I also do that 😊 For many years I avoided liner in the lower lash line, because I thought it would bring the eye down too much, but now I do put liner there! Downturned and partially hooded eyes here. I feel like I always had catastrophic results when tried to lean into the shape instead of fighting it, but you had some really great tips here. I'll definitely give it another try. Thanks for helping out the gals with more difficult features ❤️
same here. totally true. this is also a great metaphor for life, when we all try to fight for some things that we could just do in a different way by cooperating with it :)
I have partially hooded and downturned eyes, I always hated my eyes for not being the same as the ones in most makeup videos. No matter what I do, I can't get the same look. Watching your videos made me more accepting of my eyes. Thank you so much, really.
In 7th grade, a girl smuggled eyeshadow to school and was putting it on everyone at lunch break. When she got to me she said, um...I don't think you're ever going to be able to wear eyeshadow, because your eyes...[gesture]. Pfft. Proving her wrong since forever. ;)
Love the concept of "when in doubt, follow the line of the lashes.." I looked in the mirror and realized that the shadows around my lashes were showing me where to add some dark shading.
Thank you for being so respectful of different types of skin/anatomy. I typically don’t watch videos on hooded eyes and such because of the negative way they’re talked about and I don’t want to learn to see myself in a negative light but I felt like you would be safe. You were and so inclusively informative. Thanks a million- you’re a rare find.
I find tight lining is so flattering on my eyes. I discovered it when I was new to makeup and couldn't get all the eyeliner off at night, and loving the look the next morning when only the liner around my lash line was left. I also love putting very sparkly shimmers on because even though you can't see them with my eyes open, you get a fun flash of shimmer when I blink!
I'm "of a certain age" (over 50) and I was wondering if you might be be willing to do a spot on wrinkled creases and hooded eye? I know that's a huge ask but I personally LOVE color and expression! I don't want to limit myself to the older eye, minimalist looks. I'm a former style blogger from the olden days lol and would like to remain in the relevant and uptodate arena. As we age, our insides rarely reflect the outside. And believe me, when you wake up and look in the mirror and don't know who that body belongs to, it's super difficult to find someone who has the talent to guide you. Thanks so much for the hooded eye and especially the downturned eye! Your tutorials are incredible easy to understand. I appreciate you! 🥂
Thanks for explaining makeup SO WELL. I’m 45 and never got into makeup in my 20s/30s. Didn’t need much, a little lip gloss and sparkle. Done. Now that I’m over 40 I’m doing some serious catch up. I’m a nerd, and an artist…so your explanations really make sense to me. I’m obsessed with your channel! I think I’m on 20 videos in a row. Just want you to know I’m hitting your affiliate links so hard. Extra $$$ is the up side of over 40 ;-P I just wish I was olive skinned like you so I could follow shades EXACTLY. I’m a cool beige. I would LOVE to see you do makeup on other people with different skin tones and issues. Paid content? I’m here for it. Just a thought. Thanks SO MUCH for all the amazing information and links.
i would LOVE to see your suggestions on pictures sent in by people. especially would love to see suggestions/examples of emphasizing certain eye shapes or things that are seen as 'issues' especially how to deal with less space between your upper lash line and eyebrow. one thing i wish there was more of in your videos about these things is just being able to see the makeup done on someone who has that certain eye shape. thank you for being so positive about things that are normally seen as issues because of western beauty standards, its really refreshing to have a channel thats just like 'if you wanna emphasize, do this and it looks cuuuute'
I love how you show such great examples that can help people embrace their features (and NOT fight them). You're always so helpful in your explanations. I'd love a video where you'd give suggestions/tips on viewers' eyes!
I have never needed a TH-cam video so much omg… this made me feel SO MUCH BETTER about my eyes and I used these tips on my makeup today and felt so much more confident. Thank you x10000!!!!!
I think I have instinctively been doing my liner like this for years without realising! A makeup artist did a wedding makeup trial for me and barely did any liner (even though she had asked for photos beforehand of what my "everyday" look was, so she could get a sense of my style). It was so understated and *not me* I ended up doing my own wedding makeup and miraculously it was flawless all day!! A lot of your hints and tips helped me along the way so thanks for that 🧡
I just want to say, thank you for taking the time to create a video on downturned eyes. TH-cam doesn’t have many videos covering it and it’s really refreshing seeing your approach on beautifying this eye shape. It was very easy to follow and understand! I will follow the shape of my eye instead of doing the conventional cat eyeliner look, now that it looks 10x better on my features. Thank you once again! 🙏🤍
Thank you so much for this video! With your techniques and knowing Marilyn Monroe also had down turned eyes, I feel more confident and excited to experiment with makeup to make mine stand out 😁 💜
What you showed in this video took me so many years to perfect for my eyes. I wish I could've watched this video when I was younger. Such a great resource for anyone working with an eyeshape that hardly gets mentioned in makeup tutorials. Thanks for making this :)
BRUH i started doing my eyeliner like this recently and i can't even begin to tell you how much more confident i feel. before i was always wrestling to get the angle right, getting weird creasing and smudging, weird ass looking wings, now i feel like i finally nailed it down and i can't believe you just made a video about it! a game changer. would suggest everyone to try it. also, i feel like "lean into your features" is such a good note to end the video with. we need to work with what we have, not against it. you get it. thank you
I'm so glad people are finally saying this. I've been saying that hard wings don't work for some people's eye shapes for forever (most notably mine) and doing a basic dollar store version of what people now call the puppy thing since I was in college in the early 00s. But people do really try to push you to make your face look a certain way and it is FRUSTRATING.
I cannot IMAGINE she actually got your message b/c I would JUMP at the chance to have you do my makeup, as would anyone who had any interest at all in beauty. And this was so helpful. I don’t have downturned eyes necessarily but I’m 45 and they’re getting more hooded (I’m not thrilled) and they kind of bulge out in the center of the lid so i have to be careful with my shimmer game or i look crazy. I always just want them to look bigger in general, but also love the intensely smoky look I’ve done for years (but is getting less flattering potentially). Like many, I’ve tried doing the lifted thing... and i feel like i AM fighting my face. Though I’m sure there’s a better/easier way. I don’t love the brightener on my waterline so... I dunno. I’m rambling. But I just really dig you and I love love love your thoughtful and skillful shares.
Omg, for the first time ever my eyes have been accurately described by a makeup channel. Large lids, deep set crease, high brow bone, downturned outer corners..! Hallelujah.
your makeup tutorials are seriously some of the most helpful things out there. I always watch these beauty guru video's and i'm like "yeah but that doesn't look good on me." thank you for making this kind of content! I love it and I am so excited to try this eyeliner style.
HOORAY for this Alex. I always learn so much from your videos. Amen to this whole concept of not fighting your features. I made a comment on the hooded eye video that I stopped doing "lifted" makeup when I hit fifty and started leaning into my round, slightly downturned eye shape. That comment is still getting likes so I think there was definitely an audience for this.
The contouring trick that you show in this video is a game changer for me. I've tried every technique out there and this is the only one that actually makes my mature, hooded, downturned, small, close set eyes look lifted. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
I’ve been trying to experiment since I have down turned eyes, now you’ve given me ideas. It’s been difficult embracing and finding a look that will flatter my eyeshape. Thank you so much for this video!
omg haven’t even started watching it yet but I’m so excited for this!!! Ive always fought back against my downturned eyes, always wishing they were upturned almond eyes..I would’ve made a killing in the 20s w my big sad eyes but it’s not the beauty standard today 🙄 I always wear cat eyeliner to try to offset the shape and I even had a period in high school when I would trim my bottom lashes since theyre super long further accentuate the downturned shape 😬 they’ve been through a lot lmao
Just when I decided to stop trying to attempt winged liner on my slightly downturned, hooded eyes Alex comes out with multiple videos on the subject! 😂 Alex, you are just so freaking talented! And all your videos are so helpful! You’re the best ❤️
DUDE. I learned the "don't fight it, don't try to beat it into submission, lean into whatever is naturally there" type of idea with my hair years ago. How did I not think to apply this to other parts of life until now?! 🙃 I've always heard them called "melancholy eyes". Every charicature drawing I've ever had done focuses on two things; my big bottom lip, and my big, bright blue, down turned eyes. This video has been SO HELPFUL. I really feel like I'm learning about how to use a medium(in this case makeup) to enhance part of my life. Not just to hurry up and throw 'paint on the barn' to cover everything and fight what's actually there. I'm speechless. I feel like another achievement has been unlocked in life. You explain things in a way I can actually understand it. THANK YOU. Thank you times ♾️!!!
Alex, as always, I learn so much from your tutorials. You are so fabulous and real. I love that you explain WHY we do something this way or that. Once I discovered you, I stopped wasting time watching other MUAs.
Your videos encouraged me to actually buy my first ever two eyeshadow palettes. My eyes are slightly downturned and a bit hooded with not too much space between the upper lash line and eyebrows, but sometimes working with what you already have can bring you to interesting discoveries. I see make up as an art form as someone who draws and paints digitally, so some of my looks are nothing short of wild, but I like it that way. I'm having so much fun with trying out different placements and bold colors like greens and yellows and tons of glitter. I spent my whole life avoiding eyeshadows because I just felt like it's not for me, but sometimes I smoke it out halfway to my temple and upwards and I'm having so much fun. Your videos are truly a godsent. I like how you always manage to find creative solutions for a lot of looks and eyeshapes, and your voice is also very soothing to listen to. Have a wonderful day/evening!
I've been watching you for years and really enjoy your style. I'm struggling with my slightly downturned and ridiculously hooded eyes and just today i was about to completely give up on any sort of eye look when this video pops into my feed. Using contour and a wee bit of lighter concealer to give a bit of lift is an absolutely brilliant idea and when i saw the results on your face i was like "holy crap, that looks like an idea that might work for me too"! I don't seem to have much luck with eyeshadow and was feeling a bit deflated but this idea has given me hope 🙂. My goal is to embrace my face, my bone structure, my flaws, and feel more confident in my own skin. I'm really feeling fairly confident in my foundation, brows, blush, etc but NOT my eye makeup. I'm totally going to try that technique as it looked really natural and flattering. Thank you so much for everything you do to show so many different ideas because we all have different faces with different shapes and different levels of experience with makeup. You're the best!
this is perfect timing! i have slightly downturned / hooded eyes and was always trying to lift them but the liner just looked really forced and i never found an angle that i liked. recently i started following the upper lash line all the way out and then swooping upwards on the outside like you described in the video! it works so much better for my eye shape. everyone always says follow the lower lash line but the angle was always too extreme. thank you for this video!!
You’re such a genius for my eye shape. I watched you years ago when I started wearing colorful liner. All the girlies love my look, which was born out of necessity (downturned, partially hooded eyes).
I swear this tutorial should win a flipping award Alexandra! Everything just seemed to come together for me and my downturned “bullseye/target practice eye shape!” You are so darned talented and skilled! I ❤️ you and your content! 👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁
I practically ran out to get that Fenty contour after watching this. Even that made a huge difference! Love Fenty’s products in general and their range for olive undertones. Thanks for the video. I can always count on you.
in high school i used to wear straight/upward eyeliner every day and i already knew my eyeshape was down turned a little so i never got the advice of following your lower lash line up because that just disconnected it for me and letting that way go helped me alot ! and i stopped wearing makeup for a while and tried it again thinner and under my crease which comes down a bit so exactly how you showed to do and now i never have to try hard to get a good shape i just swoop it under and out and its so much easier instead of having to look a curtain way into the mirror and having it droop down when you relax your face so i think taking a break made me more intuitive with what worked for me as well! you’re truly a breath of fresh air alex with giving different options instead of a one size fits all mentality
Love this video and your advice about enhancing each person's natural features is really good. I also like the idea of you doing a vid with your subscribers sending pics of their eye shapes so you can give tips and advice.
I’m 37 and just now learning how to do make up, and this is SO helpful (along with your other videos). I have felt SO stupid and incompetent about make up because it never, ever looks right on me…. But apparently I’ve been doing make up for eyes that aren’t like mine (partially hooded AND downturned) 99% of the time, so no wonder. This is such a big deal, I can’t even describe it.
Thanks to Sydney, who made the sleepy eyes sexy, and to you, Alexandra, who pointed out how juicy it can be, I am finally embracing my eye shape. I have a similar eye situation to Sydney: down-turned asymmetrical eyes, one with a lot of eyelid, the other one hooded. I started experimenting with light eye shadows (a big no-no before) and eyeliner. Who knew that dark eyeliner inside your eye can open it so much! I will definitely try this winged eye - I did before what you are doing on the other side. Not only had the line to be almost vertical (ridiculous) but it did nothing for my round eyes. This looks gorgeous. Thank yoU!
Thank you for doing a video on this! Sometimes I think there's this weird amount of pressure to always do a wing because it's the "standard" for being good at applying eyeliner. But the truth is, on down turned eyes (or hooded eyes), this shape is SO BEAUTIFUL. You da best
I really like the new liner situation, the one on your right eye. It's a lovely placement. I 100% agree to look at yourself and enhance your natural beauty!! Trends come and go, but only you have your face!!!! Enjoy it, enhance it, love it!!!! You're simply the best YT teacher!!! I feel like I'm stealing from you..... "Yes, I attend Alex's makeup school" "No, it doesn't cost anything "! Seriously, you are so incredibly helpful!!! Beyond grateful for all that I've learned!!! Blessings to you!! ✌🏼💚🙏🏼
You're awesome for offering a different emphasis on embracing down turned eyes. I personally prefer a different look on me, and when my wedding makeup artist started doing the shape you show in this video with eyeliner, I ended up removing it and doing my liner with your foxy eye makeup method, because that one was effective for my eyeshape. Either way you rock!
Your suggestion to use the “mark up” feature on photo editing is fantastic. Wish I thought of that. Can be used for the purposes of this video plus eyeshadow colors, brow shapes. Thank you for mentioning it.
Alex - this was very well done, but I also think going with your down turned eyes works better if 1) you have large eyes and 2) you are young with firm skin. As you get older, the eyes are not the only thing that goes down (unfortunately).
Thank you sooo much for this video! The positivity and encouragement to do your own thing to create the look YOU like instead of the popular trends is much needed 🙌🏽 life is so much more interesting when everyone is unique instead of carbon copies of each other. And as a hooded lid gal with one slightly down turned eye, I appreciate all of the ideas to try out! Looking forward to doing my makeup in the morning. Thank you so much 🙌🏽
As someone that has downturned eyes, I appreciate you doing this video. But I would like to make an observation 🙋🏻♀️ Your definition of downturned eyes based on the placement of the outer corner was spot on, but the examples didn't match, let me explain.. There are many "downturned eyes" that do not have to do with the outer corner. 05:57 Sydney Sweeney is an example of that. What happens with her is that the lower lash line goes further down, exposing the white part of the eye bellow the iris, and that gives the downturned eye look. But her outer eye corner still has lift. That eye shape is much easy to work with, imo Other type is when the apex of the upper lid is more inward than in other eyes, making the shape of the upper lid "go down sooner", also giving that droopy appearence, but again, it doesn't necessarily have the outer corner lower than the inner corner. That's mainly what happens in the example 10:05, her lower lash line is basically straight, it barely goes down, and has a little lift at the outer corner. At 9:18 I honestly don't see downturned or droopiness anywhere, and it's definitely not about the inner corners, maybe it's the lower lid issue again. I have never really seen a makeup tutorial with a downturned eye model that really has the outer corner of the eye lower than the inner corner, it's always about those other cases. It would be awesome if you could pull one off 😉 Personally, my style of eyeliner is about following my eye shape (and I do have the lower outer corner) I don't fake a lift, but I still can't put eyeliner anywhere, or it will look weird.
There's also me, whose eyes are actually upturned, but my crease dips down so low below my outer corner that they look down turned. The shadow created by the crease in the outer corner is practically impossible to conceal too and makes eyeshadow difficult.
@@luciamcmaster6338 that's very interesting, thanks for sharing! There really really are many different features, it makes it hard to find references/tutorials that fit our needs
@@auricia201 exactly, a lot of the times one just has to figure it out by themselves, or accept that makeup will look different on them and that's alright.
I am almost 43, and I thank you so much for this video! I never understood why winged eyeliner was so easy for everyone but me! I have tried everything, now I get to try this tomorrow morning!
Thank you!!!! I have slightly round, slightly downturned eyes, and fairly new to wearing eyeshadow. I kept wondering why my eyes always look so heavy and droopy - it’s because when you try to do a Kristen Stewart type elongated smoky eye on a downturned eye, all that dark shadow on the outer corner of your lid just pulls that corner down even more. Definitely happy to see some downturned-specific techniques. BTW Anne Hathaway is a good downturned eye celeb!
I remembered that you loved doing portraits from your Q&A. I love that your passion for makeup started off from an artistic perspective rather than a beauty perspective. It also shows throughout your videos and how you explain things. Maybe, you could draw a makeup face chart with different eye shapes to use in your videos? Love from Hawaii!!
I think a negative canthal tilt (downturned outer corners) is a major part of Sarah Michelle Gellar's allure. It somehow made her seem both gentle and dangerous at once (perfect for hunting and slaying vampires). Sarah has atypical facial features that all work in harmony together which made her stand out from the crowd, especially after she went blonde for Buffy. I always thought she was one of the most attractive celebrities in Hollywood in the 90s, especially when considering her sultry voice. It's true that a negative canthal tilt is a feature more often seen on men with heavy brow-bones, but it doesn't read in the same way on a woman where it's sometimes called "bedroom" eyes. If the eyebrows are also highest in the middle, then the overall effect is sad puppy-dog, which I think is appealing on guys as well.
As someone with hooded downturned eyes, your words at the end of this video were super inspirational! The cateye struggle is real but may just not be “for me”. 🙌
Thank you for this! I have hooded eyes with a very slight down turn at end of my lash line, your videos have encouraged me to try eye makeup. There is no other makeup artist like you, your videos are so informative, eye opening and calming.
I have large round eyes that are slightly hooded and slight down turned. The biggest lesson for me was learning to do my eyeliner "straight" out instead of angled up. It enhances me eye shape and avoids it looking like the Nike Swoop on my face 😁 Great video as always ! 🥰

I've watched endless videos and tried and tried and tried but nothing really helped or worked whilst trying to execute them. OMG! I'm stoked something actually freakin worked. I love your videos. I think its amazing you put them out there for us hooded women. OMG. I'm so thrilled!!!! Thank you...you beautiful creature X

Well, now you've done it... I've spent the last hour listening to FM's greatest hits!
Really appreciate the philosophy of enhancing one's natural features instead of changing everything to fit to trend. Great video, thanks!
I have the full package:
- hooded eyes
- downturned eyes
- low eyebrows
and I love that for me.
same lol
Oh my god same, it's incredibly hard to not look stuffy, my features are dark too so it sucks bc I can barely experiment with eye makeup
ME TOOO
YAAASSSS Y'ALL SLAY
Same here and it's annoyyiingggg. Deep set hooded down turned eyes with low brows and discolouration 😅
Love the concept of "when in doubt, follow the line of the lashes.." I looked in the mirror and realized that the shadows around my lashes were showing me where to add some dark shading.
It's refreshing to be reminded that what we see are based on trends, and that they don't have to be followed.
You are so technical, no BS, and informative (not to mention funny) and I love it.
Your approach to makeup is so kind, respectful and uplifting, I truly admire it. ❤️
These videos have been so helpful to me, playing with eyeshadow is no longer frustrating! Thank you so much!
😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
i feel like you might be the only person that actually gives tips for face shape and ect, not just teaching how to do a look
Using “paint” to play around with contouring, eyeliner etc. is SUCH a good idea!
i would LOVE to see your suggestions on pictures sent in by people. especially would love to see suggestions/examples of emphasizing certain eye shapes or things that are seen as 'issues' especially how to deal with less space between your upper lash line and eyebrow. one thing i wish there was more of in your videos about these things is just being able to see the makeup done on someone who has that certain eye shape. thank you for being so positive about things that are normally seen as issues because of western beauty standards, its really refreshing to have a channel thats just like 'if you wanna emphasize, do this and it looks cuuuute'
I love, listen to me LOVE with every bit of my brain the fact that you don’t use background music. This is so relaxing
Just discovered this channel and I am obsessed! I love how she makes videos that cater to everyone; hooded eyes, down turned eyes, etc
"You don't have to do whatever is trendy" 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Yesss Thank you. I appreciate the encouragement that there are more ways to line those eyes
I really appreciate how you make videos about different shapes it's quite helpful, ily
I just asked for a tute on older eyes 🤞
Thank you for this! Love the inclusion of celebrities whose artists embrace their eye shape instead of trying to counteract it.
It's my birthday tomorrow and you just made a tutorial for exactly my eye shape! I'm going to call it a cosmic bd gift💝 Thank you!
Happy birthday 🎉❤
happy birthday!
You are one of the most relatable and easy to understand makeup artists out there! I love your videos
I've been searching for tutorials with all the 'real estate space' up there and I found this! Thanks a million!!
Showing the example of using your phone to draw on the eyes is the most genius tip I've seen, maybe ever. Why didn't I know this sooner! Thank you! 😘
Could you also possibly give tips for glasses wearers?
I have downturned eyes and they are really hooded. I just tried this with the contour and concealer and it absolutely works. Thank you
omg haven’t even started watching it yet but I’m so excited for this!!!
Alex, you are just so freaking talented!
I have no idea how to use WhatsApp. I don't know if you'll get this or not.
I'm 29 and you literally solved the eyeliner problem I've been having my whole life
Your videos encouraged me to actually buy my first ever two eyeshadow palettes.
Omg that lady's close up on downturned, heavy-lidded eyes match mine exactly!! So now I'm in paint playing. Thank you!!
You’re such a genius for my eye shape. I watched you years ago when I started wearing colorful liner. All the girlies love my look, which was born out of necessity (downturned, partially hooded eyes).
Thank you for the vid! I think we need more of this how to for other eye shapes.
27 years wondering why makeup tutorials don’t work for my eyes. THANK YOU!
Thanks!
Im first and I have hooded and downturned eyes &
Im so excited!
Thanks Alex! 😊
Thank yoU!
Sydney? X
@@hsonmari6665 sydney sweeney!
This is a revelation and you are wonderful for sharing/making these in depth videos, thank you!
17:20 that is such a beautiful and intelligent advice alex ♥♥
FINALLY A VIDEO FOR MY EYE SHAPE!!! tysm
Alex - this was very well done, but I also think going with your down turned eyes works better if 1) you have large eyes and 2) you are young with firm skin. As you get older, the eyes are not the only thing that goes down (unfortunately).
yes thank you i’ve been waiting for a video like this 😭
Oh my god, i have underestimated the contour. Just you blending the countour and the change! AHHHH I'm gonna buy a contour set now.
I love that swooped eyeliner! I’m trying it.
Thanks for this! I also love the way that Marilyn would do the double wing on both the top and the bottom.
best video, tips and inspirational pep-talk in makeup context and diversity ever!!!
That eye shape is much easy to work with, imo
Other type is when the apex of the upper lid is more inward than in other eyes, making the shape of the upper lid "go down sooner", also giving that droopy appearence, but again, it doesn't necessarily have the outer corner lower than the inner corner.
It would be awesome if you could pull one off 😉
Personally, my style of eyeliner is about following my eye shape (and I do have the lower outer corner) I don't fake a lift, but I still can't put eyeliner anywhere, or it will look weird.
I have tried everything, now I get to try this tomorrow morning!
you're drawing ontop of pictures! you probably didn't see it, but I suggested that a while back. so helpful
You’re the shit Alex. Love that you inspire others to embrace themselves 🙌🙌
This tutorial changed my life!! thank you so much. I always disliked how eyeliner looked on me because I was doing it wrong for my eye shape.
this was so encouraging Alex, thank you! 🥺
I love that you don't put background music on your videos. I think it gives a very peaceful vibe to watch them without any music.
Your skin looks incredible. Just beautiful.
thank GOD i cannot find a decent video on this!! thank youuuu 🖤
Thank you so much for this. I always wondered why I couldn't get eye makeup to look 'right' on me, you have really educated in such a kind way and given solutions on alternatives I could try.
That tip on 14.35 worked for me! My eyes aren't crazily downturned but my lid drops just towards the outer corner of my eyes. OMG..
Yes yes yes I was playing around and discovered the swoop thing, which is when I realised that my eyes are downturned and that was why I could never make the 'traditional' wing shape work! It's amazing what a difference it makes to understand YOUR features and what's flattering and feels good for YOU 🖤
FINALLY someone understood the assignment!! 🤩🤩🤩 THANK YOU!!!
This is so eye opening 😭 no pun intended. I’ve been struggling with constantly trying to lift my eyeliner and hating the end result. Thank you 🥺
