@@icrusade7672 Tell that to our 11 national championships (that the school itself recognizes), 13 national championships recognized by the NCAA, 21 national championships recognized by other major selectors, 7 Heisman Trophy winners, 100+ All-Americans, and 495 players and counting that's been drafted to the NFL. We have a legacy that can only be matched by the combined efforts of three schools, USC, Michigan, and Bama. And no. I'm not exactly offended. I just pity you because you clearly can't comprehend the legacy of ND. So I'm educating you on why ND is special. And if you pull the "ND's independent so they can get an easy schedule.", last time I checked, UGA, Clemson (face them every couple years or so), and Michigan are anything but cupcakes. Bama and other SEC schools schedule one or two FCS schools a year. Notre Dame doesn't schedule schools outside their division. Who the fuck is WCU anyway? Who the hell is Southern? That's what you get with other schools. You get to watch them get a free win over some FCS jobbers. Not with Notre Dame.

I'd say more so in the larger scale of things. He is certainly underrated though. He has what I find to be the most difficult ability to master and that's body control. Anyone can catch one handed or run fast or jump high, but the best receivers can contort their bodies to bring the ball down in their arms and in bounds.

Reminds me a lot of DeAndre Hopkins. In terms of success I think he would’ve been a much better NFL receiver than he is a major league pitcher but he would’ve made much less money & he likely wouldn’t be nearly as healthy.
He got a huge contract in baseball & will make $125M+ before he retires but for the most part he’s been nothing more than an average big league pitcher. I don’t think there’s any chance he would’ve been a bust as an NFL receiver.
