Kidney health for all - Bridging the knowledge gap to better kidney care

This public lecture took place in March 2022 presented by Professor James Burton, Professor of Renal Medicine and Associate Dean for Clinical Research at the University of Leicester. The talk discussed bridging the knowledge gap to better kidney care. Chronic kidney disease affects as many as 1 in 10 adults worldwide, it is predicted to be the fifth leading cause of death by 2040. This talk explored the burden of kidney disease both to individuals and society as well as discussing strategies, including lifestyle changes, that may improve health-related outcomes.
