You explained this excellently! unlike a lot of pros, you start slow, keep a good pace for novices, and continue that pace and don’t suddenly start speedballin like a lot of these annoying pros do. Keep up the excellent work!

This is one of the best quick and dirty intros to ZBrush I've found. I love that you don't follow the traditional tutorial structure and instead just go "Here are tools you're probably going to use all of the time" and roll into it. So much more intuitive!

Just started zbrush and after much frustration with other so called "beginner tutorials" I found yours. Perfect in explaining what to do when you first open this mess of a program.
I never imagined a program would label an object or active layer a "tool". Very poor choice in designation.
But after getting that straightened out and the lowering poly count for 3D printing was the icing on the cake. Thank you so much.

Thanks man that's an awesome tutorial, especially the very first steps with this weird 2d square brush. Not even a official Zbrush beginners tutorial covered that step for me. Finally I now know how to handle some of those simple basic operations in Zbrush.

Great teaching bro, Perfect way to get someone going right away! focusing on how to build up and carve away forms, how to separate new forms that are created from drawing on the model. And also how to navigate the 3d space and move, precise and manipulate the object. A lot of these videos don't consider the beginners point of view and overlook explaining these basic aspects which are key too comprehending how the workspace and the basic form modeling works.
