    The Marvel Legends Beast is an amazing but imperfect figure. Mine came with loose toes and head. I use a couple easy methods that you can use too to fix those loose joints.

    Definitely gonna have to try this on my ML comic Mysterio, the joint holding in the right arm is so loose that it spins like a helicopter blade and can't hold a pose at all.

    In terms of paint detail, it probably could use more air brush detail on the fur and more shading on the face.

    The thing I've always known about Pledge floor care is it's great for adding gloss (like making eyes/a mouth more realistic). Heard about that on the Sideshow Freaks forum regarding 1/6 figures. Plus, it's easy to take off. But now because of you, I've found out it can be used for a multitude of things besides floor care and glossing up parts.
    Nail polish and super glue is what I've heard about tightening up joints..but Pledge would be a *much better* choice.

    I definitely prefer this method over using super glue. I've accidentally froze joints up using the glue, and it leaves a white residue, this is definitely waaaaaaay better. Also you said you can use that to thin paints down, does that affect the finish of the paint in any way? Like say I use it to thin down a paint with a matte finish, will it wind up satin looking? Anyway, great video as always man, keep up the good work.

    • @LifewithBrock
      @LifewithBrock  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It will. It makes it look glossy (good for metals and wet areas like the eyes and mouth not so good for clothes and skin...unless it's blood). So what you do is just spray or paint a matte finish on it.

    Whenever i encounter a figure with loose joints...i put the figure in a vessel and pour HOT water over it and submerge the figure for about 3 to 5 mins till all the joints become extremely rubbery ..i straighten all the limbs out and leave it to dry and cool off on a towel for 24 hours...dont fuck with it...as much as youd like to...just leave it alone ...and i ALWAYS get amazing results...sometimes the joints end up becoming TOO tight..
    The material they use to make these is nothing but a DENSE vinyl .
