Who’s fault it is for the myriad civilizations dying? I would consider Metion only a weapon in this case. Weapons aren’t inherently good or bad, it’s how you use them. Metion was just hijacked by the cosmic despair and made suffering manifest. I would consider Hermès the real villain here because understanding what has happened he still wasn’t afraid to hurt and destroy everyone just to test his theory. Like bruh, I also agree with everything Hermès and the cosmic despair say about life, but that’s just my opinion, some ignorant fools go on to live very happy lives, who am I to take that away from them?!
I agree. Hermes is like a toxic parent who didn't spend enough time with his toddler, talked about death without explaining it, and didn't even stop to consider how he caused her to feel all that trauma 😥 turning her essentially into a serial killer.

Yeah, Hermes is honestly the one at fault. He had good intentions, but the way he went about things…In Meteion’s own words, “It’s all wrong”
I agree. Also his creation was much more "human" than a lot of the ones we encountered, with more complicated emotions, and definitely requiring more nurturing. I don't think Hermes was up to the task tbh 😢

The man was a Well-Intentioned Extremist, but good GOD, did he mess up…And Etherirys suffered for it. Who knows how much worse things would have gotten if we hadn’t come along and essentially fixed Hermes’s great mistake all that time later. Poor Meteion deserved better, and I *really* wish we could adopt her.
