It's funny. All the way leading up to and through Endwalker, there were a few points where I wished we'd just kill Zenos and leave him. And now that he's gone after showing some character growth at the end, I want him back again. lmao

I just finish Endwalker story, at first I didn't had that much expectation because Square Enix did already a great job with "Shadowbringer" way too good that they couldn't do even better... And they actually did ! Endwalker is in my opinion, the BEST expansion EVER in MMOs history
You know how the rule goes- if they're not stabbed to death, or whatever during a cutscene, they are not dead. Look at Gaius, Gogetsu, or whatever his name is, Yotsuyu, so Zenos chances of coming back is still up there
I dunno. We literally heard him do the Final Breath, that seems pretty concrete.
I mean it’s heavily implied and even mentioned in Uriangers dialogue that the teleporter appearing to save your life is the result of zenos’ dying wish affecting the dynamis around you, much like the way it worked when each of the scions were sacrificing themselves in order to shape the dynamis to make a way forward. So he’s like, dead dead.
@@JackgarPrime That alone wouldn't normally be enough. Zenos specifically needed us to deplete his aether to zero so that he wouldnt just auto revive like he did the first time.
Real question is, will he allow himself to return to the Aetherial Sea? He might reincarnate if he does.
Ofc even then. If we visit other reflections. Those worlds should have shards of both our WoL and Zenos on them.
You know Zenos isn’t dead…. We just left him for dead. They have to make him FF14s Vegeta. I mean, he practically already is. Just needs a super-long super-slow redemption arc.

id love to see zenos again, one of my fav characters easily. But to do it right he cant show up for a long time, several expansions if not the next story arc entirely
