Haha you guys made me laugh so hard I almost choked on my dinner. 😂. Those face masks! So nice to see you relax a bit after being on the go so much and Cheveyo having food poisoning. You make me want to go on a cruise now when I never had the desire. The cruise line should hire you to promote cruises for young people. Great video! Enjoyed it so much.
One of the things I love about the two of you is how you take each experience and country on its own merits. We see so many Americans moving or travelling to other countries on utube or tv shows and the first thing they do is complain about things not being like home and sometimes not very nicely. You both are so genuine and show respect for wherever you are in the world.
Well, this seems a bit freaky. My wife and I are going on a repositioning cruise from Australia to Hawaii on the 4th of April. From there we are flying to New York, Nashville, New Orleans, San Antonio and then to Chicago. It is there that we will hire a car and try to do as much of the original Route 66 as we can, all the way down to Los Angeles. Then it's a quick visit to Las Vegas and San Francisco before heading home. This 2 month vacation took us 2 years of planning, but we are so excited now and if your plans are to do Route 66, we'll be watching every step of your journey. (We'll still watch your video even if you go somewhere else).
Happy Monthiversary guys - way to celebrate! I’ve been on a couple of cruises and recommend them for complete relaxation - no cooking, cleaning or driving, no worries about drink driving and having to rely on Ubers and you only have to unpack once the whole trip! So nice to see you so relaxed and the closest I’ve seen you enjoying a ‘real’ holiday! The ocean looks relatively calm too! The sheet mask scene had me totally cracked up - well played and executed! Cheveyo gave me ‘Jason’ vibes (Friday the 13th). So excited if you are doing Route 66 - cannot wait!
Cheveyo's reaction (and the editing) to Tia's jokes (50's diner reaction 🤣) always makes me smile - and I always have to watch it again. He reminds me so much of my brother, whom I don't get to see often. And then there was that "G'day guys" at the end!!!! You really could be my brother 🙃🤣
Pro-tip, try to connect with the workers and they can provide you special and spicier food for free. We are from Malaysia and can talk with a lot of the crew from Indonesia since our languages are almost the same. We also made friends with all the Indian chef and they all provided us with legit local-style food they provide to the staff behind the scenes.
Yes, that's one of the best videos yet, so much love, joy and calmness projected onto my screen. I must say the face masks section was a hoot, such joy, you had me chuckling too. May I say the video quality is brilliant, on my big tv at home the clarity is better than most movies I watch, really great quality you are using. Well done Tia, from being in New Zealand to creating a cruise from the UK to the USA, then planning your way thru multiple European countries to arrive at the cruise on time, that takes a high level of planning and courage, well done. I recon the bit in the middle about the Australian dollar means your coming back down under this year. Whooo, us Aussies loves ya, safe travels, love and light, cheers from Perth, Western Australia.
I remember we got a last minute repositioning deal with a Norwegian ship from Copenhagen to LA...at just US $15 per day per person!!! They can be such a great way to travel
First video I've seen and now subscribed. You two are adorable esp Tia. In 40 years or so you will look back on this time and realize it was the best time ever.
"Gday guys!" Hello from Australia 🇭🇲I'll take a stab in the dark and guess that Tia's subtle hint (where you are travelling to next) can be seen in the final minutes of the vlog (wearing the face masks) which coincidentally happens to be the funniest travel blog scene I've seen ever/in a long while. Congratulations on your month-e-versary!
Done three transatlantic crossing, like your trip. Had a wonderful trip each time and met so many great people and delightful crew members. Played a bunch of trivia, saw all the shows, and did a lot of reading with a tasty drink in hand.
Great first, intro shot! And the scene with the facial “wellness” is just hilarious 🤣😂🤣 Next time you are in Europe you have to visit Slovenia, especially the Soċa Valley 🇸🇮 - just not in July or August! 😉
Doing my first international trip with only a backpack in a fortnight inspired by you two. Looking forward to it, but not sure how to deal with laundry. Would love to hear from you guys if you've got a system down after a couple of years.
You guys are amazing. I'm usually annoyed by the majority of travel bloggers, but you've got such a magic energy. Thx for sharing your journey. Embarking on the same transatlantic cruise, only headed to UK.
ive watched a lot of travel vlogs on youtube but your the only travel vlog i look forward to when you upload a vid. Keep up the great work cant wait to see what else you got planned.😎😎
Happy Monthiversary Tia & Cheveyo! Glad to see Cheveyo recovered from his bout of food poisoning! Loved the cruise video and I hope to see you both return to Australia, and take the Spirit of Tasmania! Tasmania is still waiting for you to explore it! Cheers, Dennis
18:35 the moment that you earned a new subscriber!😂 I go on my first trans Atlantic cruise next year! I am so excited! You two are the first ones that I’ve seen, that actually Are detailed about your days. I am very much like you when I go on cruises also, nothing in excess, I like to keep a routine.
Loved your cruise video. I’ve cruised many times & love how relaxing it is. You got your fare for a good price. Glad you enjoyed it. Loved your face masks 😂 Love from 🇦🇺 🚢 xx
G'day guys. Another reason I enjoy watching you guys, apart from your high-quality content, is that you have the decency, and you take the time to respond to your subscribers' comments here, most of the time. Keep up the good work.
If you were looking for a more economical cruise, you could have booked on one of the MSC or Princess crossings to the US for about $65 pp pd + gratuities. And the food and service is a lot better on Princess.

Good to catch up and see what you guys have been up to recently. Looks like you enjoyed a relatively smooth sailing across the Atlantic. And of course welcome back to Australia anytime.
I just so enjoyed that video. You guys rekindled a memory, and what could be better than that?....Oh yes, your experience was 10 times better than my memory. So, great job! Looking forward to that next adventure...in the US???
I went out to Fitzroy falls and it was so nice I went back with a friend the next weekend, and somehow I drove past it 3 times before noticing the big spud. It was raining so I didn’t grab a selfy maybe next time.
I hope you guys have a great time. I've been on 18 or 19 cruises and yes people are generally really friendly and talkative. My wife and I did a transatlantic back in November from Barcelona to Ft. Lauderdale. Took 2 weeks aboard the Celebrity Apex. You got a great deal. Repositioning cruises are usually the best deals out there. We are booked for a transpacific for 29 nights in September. From LA to Sydney on the Royal Princess. It's just a bit over $100 a day per person. All the best to you from San Diego, CA.
Great Vlog guys. I agree with other comments, nice to see you both relaxing and enjoying yourselves without the thought of having to soon move off to the next place...LOVED the face masks😄
Glad you enjoyed your cruise. It looks like you managed to take some time to just relax. I cruised NCL last year, and yes the food, even at the buffet was good. I think the age demographic was mainly due to it being a repositioning cruise.
Those masks were hilarious!!! So interesting to see a day in the life on a cruise. The views of the open ocean were stunning. Can’t wait to see the next adventure 😍
This was great, it was nice seeing you both unwind and relax. I laughed at the face masks, it was very funny. I’m looking forward to your new adventures (maybe route 66?)
Talking chandeliers and a possible cheap-ish stopover on the way through the UAE to anywhere, might be the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. It's amazing, and all are welcome, including your camera. Stay till dusk for some nice shots too. Also, it wasn't there when I was last in UAE but I'd love the photograph the outside of the 'Museum of the Future' in Dubai, dubbed the 'most beautiful building in the world' (prob by the UAE). I hired a car and made a day trip to Abu Dhabi from Dubai. They drive on the wrong side of the road like you two ;-) Keep having fun 🤩😍
Will you be heading to a Diner in Chicago? Great video. You needed a holiday to build yourselves up for the next 3 years of travelling. I wear pressure bands when I cruise. Marvellous invention.
It's interesting how you mentioned the 'cruise culture'. I have only been on two cruises. One was Celebrity Cruises (age range probably the same as what you took and we were 20+ years younger than everyone) and the other was Virgin Voyages which skewed a bit younger. Everyone was so outgoing. It feels like cruises are made for extroverts! Which I guess makes sense because they have this community right outside their rooms. We did similar to you and had different routines to the majority of the ship and could do things when it was more quiet. You celebrate being together every month? That's so cute after being together for years!
Wow, that's some ship! I guess I missed the point of those 'face masks' but it's was a fun thing to show us. The ship must have been going pretty slowly, to take 11 days for.... ha, I found a calculator..... 11 days from Southampton to Miami equates to about 18 knots. Very 'cruisy'!
Hi guys, watching from Sydney, Australia. I am So Jealous right now, wishing I was on that ship. I love cruising. Awesome video, seems like you both are having a very relaxing time. Are you sailing back home now? to have a well deserved break during your Spring, summer seasons? Enjoy. When are you heading back to Australia? You should come back in October, November our next Spring/ Summer 2024🛳️👍😊☀️🌊🏖️
We’re working out final dates for Australia 2.0! Trying to strike a good weather balance, but also we want to explore the rest of Northern WA without having to deal with floods! So it’s a balancing act 😅
Your ship may have seemed large, but it's rather medium sized. Max guest capacity is 3,776 - Royal Carribean just launched the largest vessel at sea for cruising (currently in March 2024) the Icon of the Seas with a max guest capacity of 7,600 - just over double the ship you were on...
Great video…. Funny as hell! 😂 What time of year did you do this crossing, and I think from the video, you are on the Port side of the ship. Did you have sunshine on your balcony most of the day? as you are traveling westbound. Thanks, James
Thanks! This cruise was February 11-23 if I recall correctly. You’re correct that we were on the port side. Lots of sunlight in the morning and then a decent amount for the rest of the day. We really enjoy natural light and the room never felt ‘dark’ if that makes sense.
@@OnePackWanderers Apprecoate that that you. We have done quite a few cruises; however, we are doing our first of two transatlantic crossings. First one is in November from Barcelona to Miami. And then we do a Rome to NYC Oct 2025. Cheers and safe travels, James
Hi nice video and thanks for sharing. I love NCL and have wanted to take a transatlantic cruise to Spain or Europe in general for a while but have always heard bad stories about the weather. You all didn’t touch that topic so was wondering… how was it on your trip and what time of year did you go? Month? Thanks again for sharing. Love Tia’s personality. You both are too cute together.
Heya! This cruise was February 11-23. Weather was slightly chilly and then got nicer as we moved further south on our way to Miami. Probably what most people refer to as bad weather over the Atlantic is the sea condition. There were a good 5-6 days of choppy sea. Tia gets seasick and had to wear the bands constantly during that time.
@@OnePackWanderers thanks so much for the feedback. So I guess you do recommend a transatlantic then. Glad you all had a great trip. Can’t wait to see others. Stay safe y’all
What a top video for viewing. Easy to see what a worthwhile "time out" way to travel for you both. Would love a cruise myself, plenty of time for reading a good book or two. You mentioned the cost for the cruise but for the majority of your travels you budget constantly and try hard to live and travel within your budgets. So, it's good to have such a great splurge on yourselves. Forget the "Masked Avengers", you are both the "Masked Adventurers"😄As always, travel safe❤
An absolute delight as always. The quality of y’all’s 2024 content has been fantastic. Can’t wait to see the US tour! What a contrast it will be from the cold and almost bleakness of Europe in winter to the warmth and brightness US as spring is just around the corner. Content creator question if you don’t mind. When you’re walking around, how often are you using a gimbal? Or are y’all mainly going handheld with a mini tripod and using active stabilization? I just got a gimbal for my travel adventure vlogs with my wife. Balancing it is such a killjoy. Starting to wonder if I really need it at all. I guess what I’m also trying to ask is, what are your thoughts on gimbals? Thanks!
Hey! Totally relate to the gimbal thing. We went down the same road. We just do handheld with Sony’s Active Stabilization. We also have the Pocket 3 almost entirely for discreetness, but it does have a gimbal that’s helpful for some shots.
@@OnePackWanderers I appreciate the reply and thank you for the insight. Thinking I'm probably going to ditch my gimbal. The Pocket 3 really is a great piece of gear and makes a great little discrete B-cam for sure. I love mine. The D-Log M color grades really well for some great looking video also. Thanks again!
what a nasty hint - I've been combing the transcript for the next adventure but no luck yet. However what I do know is that One Pack is the best travel vlog by far and I'll be there, no worries. Thank you, Tia and Cheveyo. 😃
We’re doing transatlantic on the NCL encore and NEED internet to work during the sea days. Can you confirm it was available and working at all? That’s our one concern. Thanks!
Cruising is such a unique form of transport. Its a world unto its own. It looks like it was a nice way for you guys to disconnect and get some R & R for a few days so thats a plus. I dont know why really but it is not something thayt appeals to me at all. Maybe i just haven't reached cruising age yet 😂
Come back to Australia 🎉
Every time a watch a video…I just smile for a while… your loving energy is contagious & uplifting even when your just on the lowdown
I love Tia's laugh, especially when you guys had on the face masks! She will keep you young at heart. Very enjoyable video to watch.

I knew it! Tia actually made it pretty obvious, I thought ;)
You guys are really fun, love seeing the places you visit and you both seem very pleasant. :) Subbed.
there is nothing gross about celebrating your wonderful relationship . it is very nice to see.
Good morning Tia And Cheveyo from here in Australia; unlucky you are not here atm, the weather is amazing 20°C here in Canberra @4:00am

That Tia for See Ya! @ 5:10 was kinda cold, Cheveyo.
Happy Monthaversary .... Enjoy! Do chickens have fingers?
We miss you guys in australia
I’ll send to you guys kabuki masks next time when you two are in Japan.
Wow guys this looks amazingggg
What a great vlog this one is loving it 🤜🤛 just don’t get sick on the cruise again chev wash wash ya hands lol
This was fun to watch, but I feel I would go mad on a ship like this. In fact, it feels like you went a bit towards the end of the video. :D
Did you Guy’s did the famous Titanic Posing?
As Leo and Kate did it in the movie
Tia and Cheveyo are officially senior citizens at sea :D
what a nasty hint - I've been combing the transcript for the next adventure but no luck yet. However what I do know is that One Pack is the best travel vlog by far and I'll be there, no worries. Thank you, Tia and Cheveyo. 😃
I think I know what the clue meant .... but I won't spoil it (assuming I'm anywhere near what it is) :)
Was the subtle clue the Canadian flag in the background?
I loved this episode!
I wonder how many Aussie’s follow you guys. It seems like we’re all hung up on your Oz adventure still 😂 🇦🇺
Nice, maybe you had a few cocktails before the face mask? Another happy vid !
Loved your video. but thought you would do better on VIRGIN CRUISES moe your age group - have you tried virgin?
Thank you.
I was on my stationery bike with you guys... I'm still at it🥵😀
We’re doing transatlantic on the NCL encore and NEED internet to work during the sea days. Can you confirm it was available and working at all? That’s our one concern. Thanks!
Yea the internet worked well when he used it.
You guys should do China. It would be insane. There's SO much there. + Hong Kong and Macau (Macau does 6x the revenue of Vegas)
Fun fact: the only big scale, ocean-going vessels (civilian and military) that are called "boats"are submarines. All others are "ships".
@@mattsmith3135 ocean liner, container carrier, roll-on-roll off, ore carrier etc etc are all types of ships.
I have crossed on The Queen Mary 2 and The Norwegian Escape .The winner Norwegian .
What month was this? We have a 14 day transatlantic cruise at the end of April next year and I don’t know what to pack
Is there no good wifi at all on the ship ? I want to try this while working remote but I would have to be online for 8 hours a day
You guys should go to south Asia. India, Sri Lanka and Nepal. Maybe even Pakistan. Completely different world, although Africa is awesome as well.
I laughed so much at the face masks 😂😂 Thank you for sharing your boat trip 😊
Awesome video you alls ❤
