- In this video we show Embarkation (Day 1) of our Transatlantic cruise onboard Royal Caribbean's Odyssey of the Seas. For our repositioning cruise, we leave out of Civitavecchia Italy and are on our way to the United States of America. We booked the cheapest room, which is also called an inside or interior stateroom. We'll give you the full tour of our stateroom and our first impressions of the ship. We will show how much you can fit into the mini fridge. We will show some of the incredible activities there are onboard and show you what we had for our welcome aboard dinner. This cruise is for 15 nights, but we had such a memorable first day!

That is one choppy sea over the sea wall. Ah it was cool to see a bit of Civitavecchia. We love seeing you guys on a cruise! Get rid of that pesky shelving in the fridge! Who needs it! You guys so have a future in cruise vids! This is great. That app is insane! Love seeing that Costa ship in the background! Dodgems on a ship - just wow!
Yea, the mini fridge was a real struggle. That app was sent from the future. Costa was sneaking up on us!
66 F is cold 🥶 ... that's what temp Ian likes the room to be when he's sleeping 😂!
Yea, 66 wound up being to cold, but it helped cool down the room earlier.
You guys have totally inspired us to go on a transatlantic cruise! Lol, we didn't even know that you could cruise across the Atlantic, but this must be such an awesome way to experience a bit of Europe on the way home 🙌🙏 The room was pretty impressive - all you need from a hotel room tbh 😊 Plus, the food looked decent too 🤩 Really looking forward to the rest of this series 🤩
Yay! A transatlantic cruise is certainly a bucket list item. We loved being able to sample so much of Europe. Our room did have all we needed!
Awesome video!! Oh transatlantic cruise are so fun!! We went on our first one like a year or two ago and it was so fun!! The room looks veryy spacious!! The struggle of putting stuff in the fridge is real lol. The flow rider looks so fun!! Ohh the bummer cars look so fun tooo!!! The food looks so good! Oohh The show looks interesting toooo!

Always love just seeing the huge ships they really look so majestic to me never been on one but their's always a first time and I noticed the ocean is roaring but the ship looks like it can take it and your accommodations looks really nice with the sea's rocking you should be able to get some good sleep on board and of course the exotic food is so, so amazing and it seems like you have plenty of activities to keep you busy and bumper car's I haven't been on them since I was a kid so what a fantastic wonderful way to spend a vacation so witytravels thanks again for sharing this incredible adventure on the roaring sea's we certainly appreciated it and good to see you again 👍
You gotta go on a cruise one day! Even if it's a short 3 day one. There's so much food and fun activities! Bumper cars were so much fun! Good to be back!

Great to see you taking a transatlantic cruise, I have faith that Captain Bruno is going to look after you both. These apps are getting better and better, looks like it controls everything in your cabin and beyond - just make sure that you tune it into the correct room. Your neighbours won't want to be watching those sort of movies! The size of these ships is staggering, they're like little cities on water - love the dodgems and that swimming pool looks like a lot of fun. Enjoyed the room tour, looks like a decent size with all that you need - with the exception of a larger fridge for all that booze 😆. Looking forward to following your journey!
Captain Bruno is a bit long winded but he's a solid chap. The phone app was cool. Sometimes I even controlled the tv in Bruno's room. Today I learned that what we call "bumper cars" are supposed to be called "dodems". In fairness, no fridge is ever large enough for all our booze! Thanks friend!
@@WITYTRAVELS I’ve not heard of them being called Dodems before, in the UK e tend to call them Dodgems - I think because originally you were supposed to dodge all the other cars and not bump into anything! How times have changed. Looks fun though 😀. I won’t ask what you put in Captain Bruno’s TV, you can probably steer the ship with that app.

Yea! They had bumper cars, rock climbing wall, flowrider surfing, iFly skydiving simulator and probably more. Lots of fun activities!
I didn't like the look of those waves 🌊... I've never gone on a cruise because my motion sickness is so bad! 🤢
Yea, then a transatlantic would be no bueno. Just maybe a short weekend cruise for you when it's perfect weather.
