You two are too much! Love you guys! I have arthritis in my knees... have gotten two hydroluric(?sp) acid injections... worked great but when it wore off? 😫‼️BUT I started using a product called Arnica 12.... OMG!!! Haven’t had to have anything but that for months now! I have an excellent Dr... but this is working so far!!! Of course, sometimes it hurts, but I just keep applying the gel and it goes away for the most part... everyone is different, I’m just grateful to have found this topical stuff that works! XXOO Sue. ( I’m 72) and stairs? Down is worse. Up doable. Thanks guys!♥️🙋‍♀️🥰‼️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥸

By the way... I honestly forgot to say that I stopped eating sugar and inflammatory food... I had heard it for years but didn’t pay attention... for me? This has been an amazing event! No sugar... a lot of the swelling and inflammation has gone and I believe it’s a direct result of eliminating food that causes inflammation... it’s a truth for me because I’m experiencing the results for myself... never thought I could give up sugar or other stuff but I can and did... with amazing results...

Arnica is amazing but just don't apply it to open skin. It can be taken internally, most pharmaceutical chemists stock it in tablets.

What if your knee pain is mostly on inner side of one knee and worse with activity but present always, likely a pull or strain?

Personal opinion: look into femoro-patelar syndrome , that's what I had and it caused me pain in the side of my kneecap.
      *Not a doctor*

Also could be a torn meniscus. I had a partial tear in my lateral meniscus of left knee. Had it a partial meniscectomy in 2018.

Thank you! How about a darting pain that is not there all the time? Its generally located on the medial side of knee cap. I suspect I sprained my MCL, which I am nursing back to health. Can an x-ray or sonogram detect things going on in the knee?

I’ve had knee surgery for meniscus tear in November 2020. How do I know if pain is from surgery or my osteoarthritis? My left knee also has osteoarthritis and I’ve been having swelling and pain like it’s burning

when I had gotten the cortisone shot, I wish my doctor had of told me that I should stay in for at least two days. he didn't tell me anything.
after I got the shot I went straight home stayed in and relaxed and went to work the next day.
that is why the cortisone was not a success.

    • @dr.anuragsportsphysiotherapist
      @dr.anuragsportsphysiotherapist 3 ปีที่แล้ว

That's not true, these cortisone injections are to be given only if physiotherapy and EXERCISES fail.
Additionally these shots have only 50% chances of relieving your pain.
I would like to help you

Hi Bob and Brad, I have a question for both/either of you: I've developed a sudden, PERSISTENT clicking in my right knee ONLY when I climb UPSTAIRS or get up from a chair/bed, etc. It's almost clunking when I climb upstairs. Absolutely no pain/swelling, nothing. It all started about 2 weeks ago, and I believe it's connected with a new pair of runners that I purchased about 4 or 5 months ago. They were kind of uncomfortable, more so in my right foot, so I got these gel arch supports which helped but still uncomfortable. I continued wearing them as I had spent money on them and thought I would just break into them eventually. However, now, I've developed this constant clicking. Any idea if this is fixable? I've stopped wearing those shoes about 5 days ago and I've started some of the exercises you've mentioned but I really don't know what's going on. I went to the PT but she didn't know what was going on either. She said that as long as there's no pain/swelling, etc. I shouldn't worry. I am worried because now there's no pain, but there could be gradually? I'm avoiding using the stairs now too. Do you think I should get an x-ray? Go to a chiropractor? Just wait and see? I don't know how long I should wait. In the meantime, I've started some stretches. Otherwise, I'm totally lost. Any advise would be appreciated. Oh, also, I'm 45 years old, female, and no medical conditions. Thanks.
*Sorry, one more important thing- my job involves me standing continuously for 8 to 8 and a half hours daily , 5 days a week. This has probably aggravated my situation as well. I want to quit work :(

Hello a week ago i overstreched my knee and when i stress it (like speeding with leg straight on a bike or doing few squats) a pain around the external part appear or in general location; in the last month i used a lot my knees climbing and running down hills but always resting atleast 2-3 days. I have same pain on my 2nd finger (the one that is used for pointing) caused from punching while relaxed hands few months ago, tests say there's still fluid in the knuckle and big joint inflammation expect that all good. My mobility in both areas are good any advice?

I have pain in my knee for a week now. I don't know what caused it. Maybe riding my stationary bike. I am praying to god it isn't osteoarthritis as I already have it in my big toe. If I had it in my knee I would be finished. I'm hoping it's just an injury
