    I had a very painfull knee and pulled something running down stairs in my house. A week later I started exercising on elliptical slowly and gradually faster on elliptical every day and healed my knee . No more pain.

    Dear Bob & Brad, I have watched your videos many times and you both explain things so well. When I try to bend my my knees to my chest, it is too extreme for me but when you suggested putting a towel behind the knee and stretch again, it has made a world of difference. It's my 'go to' exercise now and I thankyou both very much.

    Bob and Brad, I enjoyed watching this video because it pertains to my knee pain. Several of these exercises my physical therapist is having me do and it is too early yet to know whether they will work for me. I have worked as a professional painting contractor for 20 years and just started to have som trouble with my knees. An x-ray did show that I have minimal arthritis under the kneecap on both knees and I received a steriod injection recently to give me some relief. I have also tried to change the way I do my work and be very careful of my work technique.

    Thank you!!! I fractured my tibia years ago, so my left knee bends inward. Not horrible, but it’s noticeable. It doesn’t bother me much, but the “good” knee does! I like to walk, and I love my treadmill, but recently I started having some sharp pain in that knee, and I’ve developed a Baker’s cyst (my first ever). I’m not having any trouble walking, except for the treadmill. I even tried slowing the speed down, but I don’t want to go so slow that it’s just a casual walk. I’m very frustrated! Are there exercises to help with Baker’s cysts? (I know they result from knee problems.)

    Not a exercise but what has helped me immensely is a 10lb ankle weight. Sit on the edge of something that lets you swing your legs and do that for 3 minutes. One video I've seen says 3 times a day but one has worked for me. Feels good and makes a difference. Search TH-cam for videos.

    I developed a Baker's cyst about a month ago, that also ruptured (thought I had a DVT -blood clot).
    Do I really need to produce more synovial fluid? Seems like I made too much with my knee arthritis worsening.

    My knee is waisted. Dr wonr do replacement until i lose 100 lbs. I dont think i can do that especially with all my pain. I can barely walk on the leg anymore and i am feeling pretty hopeless. The pillow exercise you did in this video really hurts the muscle in the back of my leg??? Thats where alot of my pain is coming from then into the hip stemming from the bad knee. Should i stop that exercise?

    • @BobandBrad
      @BobandBrad  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it is causing you more pain or new pain, yes, stop the exercise

      I couldn't walk or sit up.i started by sitting on a chair and moving my my legs .id prop them up on my bed and move them. After that i bought a very cheap leg bike exerciser. Lost 70 lbs and hardly any cracking, and popping. This is also after multiple sessions of p.t. total time. About 6 months. But still considering surgery. Since im not 100% and very limited still. Even tho i came a long way.

    Sorry for being out of topic, but I wanted to ask you something about Degenerative disc disease. I've been following your recommended exercises, and I was wondering if I could still WORKOUT at the gym WHILE trying to TREAT myself. Yes, I do heavy lifting. However, I avoid anything that hurts my lower back i.e. Deadlifts, squats, etc.

    I don't have arthritis, but I suffered a grade 2 MCL tear and I'm 3 weeks into recovery and it feels like the ligament might be overlapped or overlapping something else, like when I bend my leg it feels like its rusty or something, is this part of the healing process, or am I the only one feeling this way? I need answers asap, I don't want to brush it off in case I need surgery or something.

    • @BobandBrad
      @BobandBrad  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This would take about 2-4 weeks to heal, since you're in week 3, you may want to get it checked out, just to be safe.
