I was a Vietnam infantry Vet and had many documented traumas. I got fast approval for Tinnitus, but fought for eight years to get 70% after my Congressman John Rutherford got involved. Many of the guys I served with got 100% and they didn't experience as much as I did. I am going to check these guys out to try and get my rightful 100%.

I need to talk with someone regarding my discharge from the marines, I have applied to the va many times and was told sorry about your luck. I was injured while in boot camp and was hospitalized for a lower back injury, the drill instructor that caused the injury visited me in the hospital and threatened to kill me if I told anyone regarding this. I was sent to my duty station instead of discharge with a medical. There is more to tell here, but I need to talk with someone regarding this.

I served in Cambodia. I went hand to hand in Cambodia. I went for compensation hearing. I went by myself. I filled out all forms and asked him if he was satisfied. He said that I had done every thing he wanted. Later when I reviewed his rating, he refused to rate me because I did not cooperate.. He said I was non-cooperative. Later I filed a claim and waited over four years before I got a decision. I had a law firm-Morgan and Morgan-for the people. Just a month before my hearing my attorney dropped my case. I lost my appeal and did not have a legal rep. to file a protest claim. By the time The American Legion foung some one to represent me I was told that it was to late to file.

Not true as far as too late to file, perhaps too late to file an appeal, but you can refile. You have to have a current condition and also make the nexus to service. Educate yourself or get a real VA lawyer.

It is also a well documented incident with online references (Wikapedia), witnesses, et cetera. It also has to affect your ability to earn, doctor's statements, then the C&P exam(s).

If you are a person who has to research and rehearse for your disability evaluation, that is pathetic. That is the type of scammer who overburdens the system and delays genuinely ill/injured people from getting through the process. If a person is experiencing the symptoms of PTSD, he or she is able to say so. They don't need to be coached. They don't need to memorize the list. That is shameful. What's worse is that being a veteran comes with all sorts of (well deserved and legitimate) perks to help you succeed in life: education funding, low interest/no down payment home loans, job training/search assistance, hiring preferences, free or reduced healthcare, but some people fail to utilize any of those things instead focusing on trying to prove they have an illness in order to get a monthly check.
