I was TDIU based on my 80% combined service connection. Va refused to reimburse my dental care because they could not fine any service connected dental disability on my treatment records.. what will I do with TDIU that has no schedular rating for dental care to get reimbursed for
    my dental work

Thank you for all this info! I wish I had known all this in 2018. I applied and was granted PTSD @ 70% which brought me to a 90% combined rating. I’ve been unable to work since 2014 and I am currently in HUD/VASH-a program designed to get homeless veterans into homes and keep them housed. So, now I am frustrated because it appears that in order to apply for IU, I had to apply for an increase which now I am told could actually decrease my current rating because a new rates may see my case differently? I have my C&P tomorrow and I am on pins and needles. I cannot afford a reduction in my disability. This is so darn stressful.

Hi Chris. I’ve been concern about IU benefits being taken away. I was at 90% combine rating with I.U. , and a long awaited claim was just recently adjudicated for sleep apnea at 50% and it took my combined rating to 100% so does that automatically drop me from I.U. Benefits so that I can maybe try to see if I can do some work and see if my Ptsd is able to withstand the work demand. Thank you

Is a vocational assessment just as strong as a va doctors opinion to tdiu, at a bva level? Example, when the assessment looks at the whole picture, and the doctors don't. Thank you in advance.

Sir I was totalling 70% combined rating with 30% flat feet, 30% depression, 10% lumbar spine, 10% left knee and 10% right knee when I filed for tdiu in January..today I checked my ebenefits online and saw that my combined rating is increased to 80%...70% for depression, 10% flat feet, 10% left knee, 10% right knee, 20% lumber spine, the decision letter is in the mail tho..so my question is do you think my tdiu is granted and is it possible to verify that online. Thank you

2 quick questions: schedular vs. extraschedular is not something we request, right? Also, if my C&P notes indicate SC for a psych condition, rendering me unemployable, that's how the VARO has to rule, right? Thx

70% SSD with deppression and anxious features, 30% hysteractomy, 20% lambosacral strain, 20% bileteral hip arthritis and 0% for other. Combined rating of 90%. Do I qualify for TDIU especially that I have another problem staying on my feet. They are now flat and my job as a Security guard requires long periods 12 hrs of standing and sometimes sitting which affects my back and hips as a result painful to walk and do my job efficiently.

I had no idea how TDIU was supposed to work. Now the reasoning behind the systematic reductions of my service connected disabilities by the VA is making more sense.
I believe the time has come where I should be seeking professional assistance from an experienced Stateside Lawyer.
If you have any you would recommend for an expat, I would appreciate it.
I have a clinically tested and proven genetic immunity to Opiates, NSAR and NSAIDs.
I submitted this (and other conditions) in a claim and asked if there is some special consideration that could be given to this particular problem.
I assure you, the response from the VA is golden.

If one was to be approved for TDIU and pays a VA offset with their medical retirement will the TDIU stop the VA offset from being deducted from their retirement?
