About The Wandering Village:
In a world where mysterious plants are spreading all over the earth, emitting toxic spores as they grow, a small group of survivors seeks shelter on the back of a giant, wandering creature they call 'Onbu'.
Become their leader, build their settlement and form a symbiotic relationship with Onbu to survive together in this hostile, yet beautiful post-apocalyptic world.
Build your village
A functioning village is the basis of your survival. Build your settlement and expand it over Onbu’s back. Plan production chains and optimise them to utilise the limited space as efficiently as possible. Create a society that can overcome any challenge.
Live on the creature’s back
Living on the back of another organism comes with its own set of challenges. Will you live in symbiosis, bond with Onbu and survive on mutual trust? Or will you become a parasite, only aiming to ensure a better life for your villagers? The choice is yours.
Discover different biomes
Continuously adapt your village as you travel through a multitude of different biomes, each with its unique climate zones, opportunities and threats. Scout your environments and send out foraging missions to gather rare resources and ancient artefacts.
Research new technologies
Remnants of the old world hold knowledge that has long been forgotten, but can be unearthed by your villagers. Find and research these technologies, but use them wisely, as progress can be a double-edged sword.
Survive the wastelands
Ensure the survival of both your villagers and your Onbu, even though poisonous spores, merciless weather, bloodsucking parasites and many more challenges mean that the odds are often stacked against you.

No idea if it's related to the big animal's name but the Japanese word for piggyback is "onbu."

Most recent new games have been variations of the same old thing. This one, however, has a truly unique concept. I also like the art style.
I think the main issue you are having is that you have too much stuff being queued up. Maybe remove some structures to build and add more worker's depot to have better control over what types of jobs everyone can do. Also, add more people to carpenter and stonecutter.
I've been watching this game development for years. Real excited to see it's nearing full release.

Ive been following this game for a while, but do remember it is in early access QOL improvements and such are being worked on. I believe the Dev works on this as a passion project and wants it to be the best they can make it.

I played the demo of this last winter. I'm a bit concerned about the time-eating nature of the game's full version.

Do you think you'll ever get back to Against the storm? It would be nice to watch you complete it, but I understand if after all their changes its become to unnecessarily difficult. It was frustrating watching you reset due to their updates.
I'm not sure about the current state of the game. I know they are still pushing updates and changes like crazy, so I think I'll wait till it settles down to an actual balance instead of just trying things out all the time.

@@KatherineOfSky Thank you for reply Kos , in Frostpunk it is more logical as you extracting treess frozen in ice, not a living trees , but don't let that stop anyone from playing , even i'll try eventually.

Factorio is not a city builder, AND Dream ENgines is more of a tower defense, not really a city builder either

it bothers me that every building is facing the camera, it just makes it look so repetitive
I quite like it. Makes buildings recognizable and also there is a large variety of buildings, so it's not repetitive to me.
Much of your farm is on the brown, dead area, and you've covered up precious growing area with other buildings. Nothing should be built around your farms for maximum yields.
No, the farm is on green ground. You can't even place farm tiles on the brown ground.
@@KatherineOfSky The white dots around the farmhouse represent the farm's radius. Half of which ended up on brown ground, and then more buildings were placed far too close. Rendering your farm mostly useless.
