Enjoy your time in beautiful Paris! If you get "bored" consider taking the train to Amsterdam for a day or 2, it's only 3 hours away. I know you would love it here, and I'm happy to give you guys some tips/advice!
This is so great, I'm in my 50s and put my similar dream travel trip on hold to raise children always saying I would do it eventually..(i still will, but it's going to be different now) I'm so glad you are doing this, its so important . .😊
I have an obsession with going places other than where I live because it does help my anxiety and depression. I wish I could just drop everything and go somewhere real nice !
YES. I get a little bit of a destination addiction. I just want to travel. I flew (first time in 20 years) to FL for the first time for 3 days at Thanksgiving as a flight companion for my grandma with Alzheimer’s. I went back over Christmas because I just needed more time and another adventure. I came back and people said they could see a marked difference in my mood (anxiety/depression) after coming home from FL. The sunshine, adventure, and time with my family was just what I needed. I needed out of where I’ve been for SO long.
Waiting for all the comments asking how you can leave your boyfriend for that long, but it’s 2019- we are in STRONG distance relationships, we care about SELF GROWTH, and we are taking opportunities for self exploration and cultural diversity. LTR’s and self improvement for the win💕
Infamous Rae, I was thinking the same... hold for the barrage of questions asking if Julia and Nick are okay. Julia, it's wonderful to see you in Paris and even more so that you have the time to really experience the country! The metro and trains will be your best friend and I look forward to seeing your videos or vlogs while exploring! 😎
Infamous Rae Plus, didn't she say it was for just a month? What's the big deal? If a relationship can't last one month apart, move on. They'll be fine.
You are so brave!!! Stepping out of your comfort zone like that is a huge thing and I believe in doing that every once in a while because it's healthy. It helps us remember or discover who we really are or who we aspire to be. I hope you'll have an amazing time in Paris!! 💕💕
How exciting!!! If you will please, can you show more of what France looks like? Not necessarily the touristy spots, but what day to day life looks like there. ☺️ Thank you so much for sharing!! ❤️
Travel is one of the greatest educations the world can give us. Drink in all the sights, sounds, smells and experience the different energy and culture, and enjoy mindshare with those around you. I love France and Paris is one of the greatest cities in the world, have an awesome and safe time.
So awesome you’re doing this for yourself!! If you can - try to rent a bike :) I feel like you’ll stumble upon hidden gems and absorb areas in different ways compared to walking or transit. The idea of cruising the streets of Paris at night sounds soo soothing. Much love to you goddess ✌🏼🌻
lol if you want to cruise the streets of Paris alone at night, you should become more familiar with the different areas and neighborhoods first. Paris is like any big city, this isn't a movie set. Pro tip: steer clear of the bois de boulogne at night.
@@thatswavy exactly, I'm in Miami and tourists come here and walk around areas in South Beach that the locals wouldn't be walking out at night so please be careful and listen to the locals.
Btw Julia, I live 20 mins outside of Nashville, so if you ever come out this way anytime soon, you've git a place to crash, and I'd love to meet you! Have fun in Paris. Can't wait to see what you create out there. And I couldn't agree with you more about the connection with your significant other. My husband was in the army, and being away from each other shorter periods of time, is super healthy. As cliche as the saying is, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder.", is so very true. Have an awesome day!
It is so true! Happy to hear that the distance has strengthened your relationship as well. Thank you to your husband for his service! I appreciate your kindness and warm message. ❤️
Paris market/food shop and meal prep video with what you find? Old bookshop exploration? A video with a random subscriber bringing you to a couple of their favorite places (be it thrifting or nature or something fun)? A Parisian-style makeup routine or shopping at a French pharmacy for some fun French beauty cult classics?
Hearing you talk about your travel and adjustment to France has me refreshing my thinking about where I live. I’ve moved to a rural Missouri town from Kansas City to be with my husband. I’ve lived here for almost 2 years and have adjusted well. After hearing your story I’ve started exploring my “new” home more and enjoying life’s current flow. Enjoy your adventure!
Hi Julia ! If you need any advice on what to do in Paris or need any inspiration on what to see, what to eat, where to go, I would be really happy to help you with my best friend Marie! We are both French and live there, and we’re following you since a couple of months now and find so much comfort and peace in watching your videos :) thank you and welcome to Paris (again!)
I’m so happy for you to finally be where you’ve been earning to be. I agree with everything you said. I suffer from depression too and being outside of my comfort zone and putting myself out there helps. I hope you’re having a lovely time.
This is awesome! I’m so proud of you. I’m 32 and I’ve always regretted not traveling out of the country in my twenties. I’ll live vicariously through you. Thank you for the “trip”🥰
I've always wanted to just run off and live in another country for awhile, but I've let fear and my anxiety hold me back. So excited to follow you on this journey.
Paris is a wonderful city, and so is the entire France! So much culture everywhere! I really hope you will enjoy your stay and I strongly recommend you to go out of Paris too at some point, if you're staying that long. I would really like "visual journal" kind of videos of your trip, of your explorations and findings. There is a small place that I fell in love with in Paris. I don't even remember the name of it, but it was a small quiche restaurant across Notre Dame, over the Seine river, with the most amazingly intimate atmosphere and with a plethora of choices for quiches, from classic to desserts and good music. Welcome to Europe, I hope you enjoy your stay and I hope our friendly French subscribers will take good care of you, and you of them. Many many hugs from Romania (lowkey hoping one day you will want to visit here too
@@CynthiaAva Romania would be lucky to have you as a guest! Depending on what you're interested in, you could find a little bit of everything here, from castles, monasteries, landscapes, culture and a lot of rustic charm. Transylvania is the go to region for visitors, but there are a lot of gems in this country! If you ever need help/recommendations let me know and I will be more than happy to provide them for you
I think Macaulay Culkin lives in Paris. His Bunny Ears channel did funny ASMR videos. He seems the fun type who would partake in a video. Is there some magical way this can ever happen???
i think that i really needed this video! i am a french major and hope to study abroad for spring 2020. but i have been very reluctant and scared from just thinking about it. it truly comforts me to know that you are okay with being outside of your comfort zone, especially in a language you aren't fluent in. :~)
I spent three months in France about two years ago (Montpellier specifically). Taking french classes helped me a lot with feeling like I could take care of myself and meeting people. I took classes at ACCENT FRANCAIS. Maybe they have a Paris branch?
Paris is my favorite city, soooo looking forward to these videos. Even just walking around Paris doing nothing, I'd watch hours of that. Living on your own away from home, esp. in a foreign country long term is such an incredible experience, with both the ups and downs. I hope you learn a lot about yourself! Have fun and stay safe!
I just came back from a trip to Europe (including Paris) recently and didn't speak any of the languages , that was actualy part of the fun, it was kinda like the music of the city. Besides, You will be surprised how many people there speak English. Google translate helped alot too. I had to use it in a pharmacy, both to read the labels on boxes and to ask the pharmacist questions. It surprised me that I never really felt like I couldn't communicate with someone if I needed to. Also I suggest making contact with the U.S. embassy if you haven't already, they can give you safe haven in the event of (heaven forbid)some kind of emergency. Have a blast while you are there and I am so happy for you to have this opportunity, may you have many more!
I don't know how but I feel like you took the words right out of my mouth. I struggle with depression and anxiety as well, and the last 8-9 months have been really rough on me. I was telling my husband how traveling really is emotionally healing for me and currently I feel like I have nothing to look forward to. Financially we're not in a place to travel very far, but we're hoping to add small trips near our home (las vegas) soon. I hope you have an amazing time in Paris! I spent a month in Bulgaria last year for work, and it was absolutely amazing. I'd recommend checking ryan air and wow air and doing some mini weekend trips to other countries. You can find tickets for literally nothing! Have fun and be safe!! Can't wait to see your next video in France! :D
You should go to Un Monde Vegan! I know you're not vegan but its got tons of really cool and healthy vegan and cruelty free products. I lived in Spain last year and went to Paris twice during my stay and stocked up on vegan candy and goodies. Also def check out some vintage stores if you haven't already, the best thing to do alone is wander around all the vintage and antiques, to shop or to just peruse.
You are a brave and lovely lady, and to be admired for wandering out of your comfort zone. Actually, u remind me a lot of my eldest daughter. My blessings to u on your new journey in Paris 🤗.
I think it's such a beautiful and important thing to travel alone if you can. I've just returned from 5 weeks in Mexico and have done a similar trip in South America without my partner. It's challenging and a little lonely at times (without language) but so important to get out of your comfort zone and relearn independence. Have fun!
Since you'll be staying in France for a wee while, I recommend you spend a week end (or more) in Bordeaux, the weather should be a bit nicer and the city is great, close to the ocean and the vineyards! Moving away is tough and messy but it's all so worth it!
Have fun Julia! I hope you can show us around when you get a chance! Maybe not your thing but I’ve always wanted to see what a Paris bake shop looks like! If not, that’s ok too! Be safe and don’t sweat the haters! You just live your best Paris life! Lots of love ❤️. p.s. TH-cam has unsubscribed me now twice. Wtf? Lol. I’ll keep checking to make sure I stay subscribed. Take Care
This is amazing! Good for you for getting out into the unknown! I did this last year as well because I got into very negative routines of depression and self-sabotage after losing my dad. Travel and new experiences (even in your own city) are so instrumental to breaking sad, downward-spiraling habits. Always having something to look forward to, even if it's relatively small. Hopefully you're inspiring so many others to do the same!
Great joice, Julia!!! Place is looking cosy and very positive. Funny when you said, that you already miss your cats....💓💚💓 Enjoy your time here in europe😊💚
Congrats on taking this trip! I’m so excited for you! France has a special place in my heart. A couple summers ago, I spent a month in Combloux, France and a weekend in Lyon. I felt similar to you when I first arrived. Part of me was thinking, “What am I doing here? I barely speak French (took one class prior to my trip.) And I’m all alone.” (Plus, I stuck out like a sore thumb: short, brown, Mexican girl from Southern California!) I normally relish in solitude, but in that moment, I felt a little isolated. Luckily, people in the village were kind, I did my best to communicate with them, and I had such a blast all by myself. When I revisit pictures from that trip, my heart breaks because I miss it so much. The views of Mont Blanc & the French Alps are like no other. If you you get hungry for more nature, you can visit Chamonix (a larger city not too far from the village of Combloux.) There’s a big ski resort there for the winter months, and it’s absolutely stunning in the summer! I hope you have an amazing trip ❤️
I took 14 years of French immersion in school (Canada) in school, and I didn't feel like a really grasped the language until I lived in France for 6 months! Enjoy your time there! I only spent a month in Paris but enjoyed every second
How exciting! It’s really inspiring how you are able travel on your own to a foreign place like that. It’s so beneficial for mental health, I love how you didn’t let it hold you back (which is what tends to happen to me) but instead used it as an extremely beneficial personal growth experience! I would love for you to speak more on that as I have been struggling with the same issues you’ve mentioned for some time now. Thank you! 💋
I totally relate to the idea of travel being something to look forward to especially when I'm not feeling my best. Vacations and travel are super important to me and definitely help me manage my mental health.
I just graduated from university in Finland so we're staying in Portugal for 3 months. I've been here many times before and also studied here for a bit but this is the best trip so far and I'm loving it. 😊 Have a great time in Paris, we will be driving through there in March once we go back to Finland.
I’ve fooled around with the idea of visiting Paris a lot recently and doing some traveling. This video and your story is so helpful, may just be the inspiration I needed, I can’t wait for more Julia!
You are so incredibly brave to travel abroad by yourself. I went to Europe, Paris included last year and it was very challenging sometimes because of the language barrier. My husband is super good at navigating, I honestly would have gotten hopelessly lost without him.
I was an au pair in Switzerland for two years and I’m from Toronto, Canada! I did it all by myself, it was also my first time flying as well (I was 20 at the time) when I first left. It is such a cool experience! I also didn’t speak any French and had not studied it for 6 years prior so it is intimidating! As long as you try when you are out, the French people will love you for it. Hope you embrace it and have a blast! Wish I was there, you are super lucky. Xo
Congrats! France is amazing. I actually lived there for a year right after college. I stayed in Toulouse but I stayed in Paris for almost 2 weeks. The language is hard but the more you go out the better you will do. It's an amazing place. Profitez-en bien!
Don’t ever doubt this decision you made: stepping out of your comfort zone and doing things we are scared of is incredibly important. I’m doing a similar thing right now and it can be daunting, especially when people around you make you feel bad about it. So make sure you say yes to unexpected opportunities, especially if it’s something you never thought you would do, but at the same time don’t overdo it. Take time to relax, think and write. This will be an amazing experience, I have no doubts. X
Forget what people say, do as you will, yes, be careful about telling where you are and when are you going to be at any specific time of the day and enjoy! I am from NYC and I always thought if there was a place I'd move to other than NY it would be Paris. For me the most important thing was going to The Louvre and seeing the classic works of art, the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, etc and that made the trip worth wile. Have fun and be well!
You seem very happy and ready for adventures :) I've been to France 3 times for some extended periods, but only a few days at a time in Paris. Even if you don't know what to do, just go outside and start walking around. There are markets and cafes everywhere. There's plenty of day trips to do from the city, like Versailles or Bois de Boscogne or the little towns where Monet painted. There's SO MUCH in Paris that even a little poking around online will yield big results, and its only a matter of time before you run into like-minded people to spend time with. Bon courage!
If you’ll be there till mid-March, you can check out this museum! It’s currently closed but reopens Feb 22 with two exhibits. Van Gogh artwork projected on the walls set to music, plus a shorter exhibit of Japanese artwork!! www.atelier-lumieres.com/en/event
I personally think it would be amazing if you vlog going to any outdoor markets, an art museum, or cute little local shops! 🥰 I’m so happy that you finally got to move to Paris for a bit. I’m sure you have all the support from your significant other. A cute idea would be to send a postcard from Paris to your boyfriend as a surprise!! He wouldn’t be expecting that. Omg I’m just so excited for you. I hope you have a wonderful time in Paris.
would love a paris what i eat in a day/grocery haul. also would love some videos on the differences of doing zero/low waste in somewhere like LA versus paris! and a minimalist luggage tour would be cool. just a few ideas. i hope you enjoy france, kudos to getting out of your comfort zone!!
I would love to eventually move to Paris one day even if it’s for a short time. I’ve always wanted to do that but my life has never let up enough for me to do so. Before I’m 30 I WILL be in Paris. Love you Julia! ❤️
I don't know if you are planning on visiting other French cities, but if yes then Lyon is AMAZING! They are 2 differents cities, but I do prefer Lyon to Paris personally, especially at night as it's a lot more safe (just don't stay too much at the "Guillotière"). I would say it's at its most beautiful during the summer since you can eat and drink on houseboats (péniches) and lay in grass at the Tête d'Or park (there is a zoo area as well + a mini lake where you can rent a "pedalo"). But I like this city all year round. You can do everything by feet, the old city is lovely, they are some "hidden doors" (traboules), the Place Bellecour is big and beautiful (at night the Grand Eye is lightened). There is also the Basilique de Fourvière. I'm not religious but from the top of the hill you have an amazing view of the entire city, and you can walk down from there to the old city, and see some plants along the way :) Since you don't eat meat, you won't really be able to eat at the local restaurant there (bouchons), but they are really nice vegetarian restaurant nonetheless (Against the grain for example). I wish you an amazing journey in France!
I'm so inspired! I've been wanting to go back to Barcelona for an extended stay, there are monthly rentals for about $1000 US, less than rent here in Portland lol. Cant wait to see more Paris vlogs and details about how you planned your trip
I love how you shot the first couple of 'scences' and your vlog style is so easy to watch. There are some awesome cities around Paris too which you can take the train to really easily, have an excellent time! Looking forward to your next update!
If you ever feel lonely or like you have enough of Paris, you can always travel around Europe for a week or two. I just moved to Prague from Germany and the closeness of so many beautiful cities and countries here is so convenient. There are so many beautiful places to visit that are just 3 hours by plane, like Budapest, Prague, Vienna, Brussels or Ljubljana. If you ever come here, I would love to meet with you.
Hey Lady! I was in France this summer for a huge hike in which the goal was to circumnavigate Mnt. Blanc, a massive peak smack in the middle of the French, Swiss, and Italian Alps. Half way though, I fell and horribly injured my left knee. I remember realizing I was, as that time, in rural Switzerland and didn't speak a lick of anything that could possibly help me out. I sat at the tiniest cafe, sobbing until I figured out what to do next. I was absolutely terrified to find my way around only knowing english. I was thankfully with my partner who encouraged me to suck it up, convinced me of my courage and promised finding my way from refuge to refuge without him would be an adventure. I was honestly surprised how little french I actually needed to know and by the end of my journey I had so many memories of laughter , love and new friendships in which the language barrier was the least of my worries. I found the majority of people spoke a bit of English and we're willing to help me out in most circumstances even in the most rural of towns. You'll be fine in Paris , my dear. 😚💞 If all else fails, smile and say "merci" !
O my gosh I can't believe you're in Paris! I moved country myself from Belgium to Norway. It needs getting used to, no matter if the cultural difference isn't that big you really start to feel it after a few days. But it gets better trust me :) Enjoy your time in Paris! And wishing you all the best for the time you're there!
I also regretted never studying abroad in my 20s.... which is why I moved to just outside of Paris last year right before turning 30. (I’m from Maryland.) It’s possible! Hope you enjoy your stay here and find some Paris/French magic ✨😃
Good for you! Too many people put their dream on hold, or do not live out their dream because of life getting in the way, for some, life can only be lived in a healthy way if they dare to be brave enough to step outside of that comfort zone, and make that dream a reality, in order to come back to live a better, less anxious life. Good luck with your journey, many blessings will follow however small, because of your choice to follow that dream. ❤
So very happy you are doing this for yourself!! I applaud you!! Traveling is also helpful for me with depression. Can't wait to see and hear about your journey in Paris!! Have fun and stay safe!!
If you’re looking to travel and enjoy nature, definitely visit to Normandy and a rural town called Mase. Beautiful places to enjoy nature and reflect. I have a family friend out there who definitely guided us and made us feel at home ❤️ Enjoy!!
Take yourself to Père Lachaise Cemetery! I spent an entire day there, in the rain, walking around, checking out the gravestones (Molière, Chopin, Pierre Abélard and Héloïse d'Argenteuil, etc.) and greenery. It was heavenly. Free too.
Hey you are in France! I hope you will enjoy it! Paris is a beautiful city, not my favourite (I'm French BTW) but the architecture is amazing 😍 I actually very recently moved from Berlin to Stuttgart and my boyfriend will join me at the end of March only, so I feel like we are both experimenting the same thing now! And I do agree, some distance can be very beneficial to the relationship, it's important to be able to exist on your own, in order to be better together. My boyfriend and I have been together 7 years and although I miss him terribly, it's kind of nice to have time to acclimate to my new town and make friends of my own! Listen, Stuttgart is only an hour away from Strasbourg (which you should absolutely visit as it's incredibly beautiful in a different way than Paris and it's also very convenient to travel from Paris to Strasbourg by train) so if you feel like you want to discover Strasbourg with me, I'd love to meet you there for a day! Feel free to message me if that sounds like something you'd want to do, my insta is hot4plants 😊 Good night!
Definitely would love to see a "day around Paris" video! As someone else stated in the comments not necessarily tourist spots but just what Paris is like or spots you are going to visit! 😎
Wow, that's very brave! It takes a lot of courage to push yourself out of your comfort zone. Well done! I live in Italy, if you have time you could travel around here as well, there are plenty of amazing places (and people and food). Big hug!
Oh oh I have a good rec for a day trip from Paris. Chateau de Chantilly google it :). Beautiful chateau outside of Paris you can take the train from Gare du Nord I believe it is to the Gouvieux-Chantilly (about half an hour) then Uber or walk about 25 mins to the chateau. It is not easy to get to and a bit out of the way which is why Americans have never heard of it. (A lot of French people are barely aware it exists). The last guy who owned it had a huge art collection of furniture, paintings, and books and in his will he wanted it to become a museum, stipulating everything had to be left the way he left it and the art could not be loaned out to museums. The gardens are beautiful too (obviously a bit more interesting in summer) and the Great Stables are pretty incredible. You will prob go visit Versailles if you haven’t been already but it’s the smaller chateaux that are more interesting in my opinion. You’re going to be there about 6 weeks in Paris so plenty of time to visit Chantilly!
Hey Julia! Have an amazing adventure and all great journeys start with a single step ! Glad you are taking some time for yourself and enjoy some fantastic food and enjoy…
Go Go Go Go Girl, Paris is amazing and although i think february isn't the best month to fully appreciate the city. It's that time in between winter and spring that always makes me feel in between things as well. Paris is always a great experience. Although i just spend a few days in LA and came back to Frankfurt the difference was quite Substancial, early spring weather and sunshine in Redondo and the grey rain in Frankfurt upon returning. Enjoy your time. I Hope it does you well..
You're so brave! I would love to see a vlog with you wandering around a flea market and then showing us the cool stuff {or one thing - even a hat} you found that day, or perhaps a lovely trinket you may use for an ASMR video. Have fun, Julia!
OMG GOOD FOR YOU!!!! Depression is sucky and if you can find stuff that helps, you do that stuff. Pulling myself out of my comfort zone is very hard and you're a great inspiration. Anyway HOORAY FOR YOU AND I HOPE EVERYTHING IS FAB!
Hell yea! Don't let anyone invalidate your experience just because you're not there for more than a month. This is the longest you've been away from the comfort of home and that's a big deal. The longest I've been away was for 3 months backpacking Europe. Have a great time! Live it up!
Well done for following your dream! Some videos of what hidden gems you discover whilst in Paris, and of course ASMR videos! Wishing you lots of happy adventures in Paris ❤️
I would call it living in France because you are living there. I agree- it’s important to always have something you can look forward to. Can’t wait to see what adventure France brings you 🇫🇷
I live in England and I’ve spent a month living in India and California. It’s so good to get away and work somewhere else :) ! Glad you can do this xxxx
Good for you! I'm 35 and I still haven't moved to Berlin for 3 months like i've always wanted to. I feel bad because 10 years ago I spend over a month in the south of Germany and promised myself to go back, as i wanted to live in Europe for a few months. I don't know how to do it now my life here has become more complex. I have no kids, but a lot of dogs and a long term relationship that I don't know how would it work, but i still have to do it. Have fun there! learn a lot.
wow you are so close al of a sudden! thats so cool. paris is amazing. I totally agree on spending some time away from a partner can make the relationship even stronger. I would love to see 'a day in the life of paris', when you are settled. take us along when you go out. looking forward to paris asmr videos! you are so creative. one of the best asmr creators in my opinion. much love from Denmark
Here's to Adventures! You only live once so why not go for it. Getting out of your comfort zone always leads to personal growth. Would love to watch a daily vlog following you around as you investigate the different marvels of Paris, no matter how grande or simplistic.
I'm so impressed that you are doing something that you have always wanted to do! Although you had always romantasiced it, it is still a brave choice. And hell yes on independent relationships! Being with someone and also supporting them in what they want to do even if it takes them away from you for a little while is amazing! My boyfriend and I have that relationship and it only makes things stronger. I can't wait for more videos in Paris!
Stay safe & have fun...I only go to the city (NY) by myself for a week at a time (several times a yr) & love the freedom of coming, going, seeing and doing anything I want without having to consult anyone. Don't know if I would be brave enough to leave the country by myself (Israel is on my bucket list) so I look forward to seeing your adventures in France & how you do, cost of where you are staying/food etc.
If you decide to pop to the UK, you are welcome to stay in my house. I bet you miss your cats a lot .... When I am away I miss my cat more than I miss the hubby LOL Enjoy Paris, it's a beautiful city !! :)
AH this is exciting for you!! I don’t know if you remember me commenting at some point a while ago about this, but my boyfriend and I have been long distance (I’m in the southern US and he’s in Australia) for almost 4 years and and I’m moving there next month!!! It’s happening!!!!! And I’m so excited!!!!!!! I worked in both retail and at a bar (retail store in the mornings/ early afternoons and then straight to the bar to work a dinner shift almost every night for the 3ish years that I’ve been saving up to go be able to stay with him long term) and it feels so airy and giddy and surreal to finally be at the point in our story that brings us together long term. Not to be too deep or cheesy but from what I’ve seen for you and the close friends around me, 2019 is going to be a year of pushing forward in big steps I think. And I’m excited as hell for it.
Thats amazing! Try to explore around your living area, dont stay at home ❤ so happy for you, would love to meet you but I'm actually from Portugal 💕 I would love to see a video with your morning routine in paris, things that you love about being there...and what do you eat as well Lots of love xx
Enjoy your time in beautiful Paris! If you get "bored" consider taking the train to Amsterdam for a day or 2, it's only 3 hours away. I know you would love it here, and I'm happy to give you guys some tips/advice!
Yes come to Amsterdam 🤗!!
Agree agree!
Yes come to Amsterdam Julia 🥰
Yes!! Amsterdam!!! :d
Go to Bruge, Brussels. It’s a fairytale city I’ve always wanted to visit.
Angie Nic I felt this comment in my soul
Yes Paris morning routine! & asmr!!💕😩
Is her boyfriend not in jail??? Sorry I may be out of the loop 😶
moon light exactly :)
Lin Harbourne I believe one of their friends is in prison, not her boyfriend.
Would love to have u take us around the city and daily ish vlogs! I'm never been and dying to see hehe
You are so brave!!! Stepping out of your comfort zone like that is a huge thing and I believe in doing that every once in a while because it's healthy. It helps us remember or discover who we really are or who we aspire to be.
I hope you'll have an amazing time in Paris!! 💕💕
Hi Christin! Thank you so much ❤️
How exciting!!! If you will please, can you show more of what France looks like? Not necessarily the touristy spots, but what day to day life looks like there. ☺️ Thank you so much for sharing!! ❤️
omg please make a "what I eat in a day" Paris edition!!!!
Food sucks in Paris. Bread and water only. and wine.
@@kate_lee_young ΟΜG !!
I could listen to you talk about paint dry! Your voice is so calming!
Have the best time in Paris! You deserve it! ❤💜
Video about dry paint coming soon 😅❤️
Hey, it’s great finally seeing someone from Tennessee on here. I live in Cookeville, Tennessee.
@@andrewhoward4523 I live in Lebanon!
This is inspiring me to have the guts to move to Italy for a while after college!
Okay, I’m committing to doing this for myself! The love and support on this channel is amazing!
Do it....
do it! i went to Rome after college and it was one of the best experiences of my life! good luck 💛
Welcome in Paris from a fellow parisian. Hope you'll have a great time in our city :)
Same♥️
It's never too late! Thank you so much for your support ❤️
Oh my god, YES!! And Julia has such a delightful personality that they’d be really fun to watch.
i think that i really needed this video! i am a french major and hope to study abroad for spring 2020. but i have been very reluctant and scared from just thinking about it. it truly comforts me to know that you are okay with being outside of your comfort zone, especially in a language you aren't fluent in.
A grocery store/french market haul and/or some cooking videos would be amazing - I love seeing what other countries have food-wise
Sticky Coyote she is vegan , she videoed a whole day in what she eats with recipes .
Funny when you said, that you already miss your cats....💓💚💓
Enjoy your time here in europe😊💚
I’m so excited you went for it! I lived in Germany for 4 months and had the time of my life, I know you will love it!
Love the cozy feels at the beginning. Have fun with your stay in Paris and can’t wait to see what you create ❤️
Love this! So brave and timely. Do it while you have the time because it's not promised to anyone.
Oh great !! Happy to have you here in my beautiful country, the more you’ll discover it the more you’ll love it, hope to see you at once !
This video honestly made me feel so happy. I can’t explain it. Enjoy it ❤️
I would love to eventually move to Paris one day even if it’s for a short time.
I'm not religious but from the top of the hill you have an amazing view of the entire city, and you can walk down from there to the old city, and see some plants along the way :)
Since you don't eat meat, you won't really be able to eat at the local restaurant there (bouchons), but they are really nice vegetarian restaurant nonetheless (Against the grain for example).
I wish you an amazing journey in France!
I'm so inspired! I've been wanting to go back to Barcelona for an extended stay, there are monthly rentals for about $1000 US, less than rent here in Portland lol. Cant wait to see more Paris vlogs and details about how you planned your trip
Video Ideas: love everyday stuff, what does the petrol station like, take us to buy t.p, how much do stamps cost etc... (Or anything similar to that)
So happy that you can discover more about my country, you'll see how beautiful it is 😊😍
I love how you shot the first couple of 'scences' and your vlog style is so easy to watch.
Yes to the Paris morning routine please once your all settled :) and as always thank you for sharing with us!
Have fun!! Can’t wait to watch all your French adventures!!
So happy you are in Paris, I really hope you will enjoy this great adventure ❤
Definitely would love to see a "day around Paris" video! As someone else stated in the comments not necessarily tourist spots but just what Paris is like or spots you are going to visit! 😎
A what I eat in a day but Paris version! Have fun in Paris and I’m so glad you are able to do this for yourself!
Wow, that's very brave! It takes a lot of courage to push yourself out of your comfort zone. Well done! I live in Italy, if you have time you could travel around here as well, there are plenty of amazing places (and people and food). Big hug!
Congrats on finally being in a place in life where you can go and explore the world and yourself ! Hope you have a happy little journey 💗
Bon Voyage, Julia. I hope you have so much fun in Paris. Sending you good vibes and positive energy. 💚
Id like to see paris coffee shop asmr , or a vlog walking around for the day
Good for you!
You are so brave Julia! Have fun and be safe in France! Much love from Texas 💖
Safe travels Julia and please consider coming to Scotland.. I think you’d love it!🌎
Here's to Adventures!
Please please please, I’m exchanging french class with a Parisian for one of your ASMR massage 🤞🤞
Clémence Fay Love this idea 😊
Thats amazing! Try to explore around your living area, dont stay at home ❤ so happy for you, would love to meet you but I'm actually from Portugal 💕
I would love to see a video with your morning routine in paris, things that you love about being there...and what do you eat as well
Lots of love xx
