Many laugh-out-loud moments throughout the story; I learnt not to listen to it in a public setting after having to choke back a giggling fit and embarrassing myself! Honora’s ‘snobby’ voice and persona was absolutely hilarious! I thought the narrator did a great job in switching between so many voices and characters. You also really feel the main character’s desire and painful longing for a home that feels lost to her. Anyone who has had to move away from their home country will relate. All in all, I really enjoyed it! Many thanks to both the author and narrator!

I will admit that I was skeptical at first but this book turned out to be incredibly interesting with a story that twisted and turned all over in some quite surprising ways! I love that it gave a glimpse of my beloved India and the culture along with a bit of mystery, suspense, historically accurate issues and events, and a beautiful love story. I am so glad that I gave it another chance (and that Honora did not have to squawk throughout the entire story lol). Thank you to the author and narrator for taking us on such a lovely adventure!

Really such a brilliant book and well done audiobook! I have listened to so many audiobooks over the last year and this is honestly my favourite one. Well done- such fun, fantastic story line and engaging characters. Loved that it wasn’t the typical plot of a love triangle and lots of uncertainty in each others love. Loved how Graham was so steadfast in his affection and sure, and how both of them just really wanted to do what they believed was best for the other- and that it was a really hard situation and not an easy match and his family would be seriously affected by the connection- it gave such a depth to the story

I love this book! I listened twice in case I missed something. I can't imagine being sent across the world by my father, leaving my culture, my friends. However, Nora's fake voice, plans to irritate her intended family & wonderful humour makes an entertaining novel. The narration is perfect, too.

I really enjoyed your audiobook, The Nabob's Daughter, so much. I love history, plus two of my adult children have Dyslexia so I was interested in listening to how the children were treated. With sadness of how the India Indians were treated. Your novel was well written and so enjoyable!
