This is one of the best I have listened to. I appreciate the clean and wholesome story. Twist and turns were divine and captivating.

No Arabella, don’t listen to the Dragon lady! She has no love and no kindness. You are not a carbon copy of your mother. You will never be free of your cruel vicious mother if you marry her choice. I do not understand how her mother can forbid her father to do anything in a patriarchal society. He has control of the money. My favourite scene is Arabella’s Papa telling her how thoughtful she is and who she is as a person. I was not sure you were going to be able to get the main couple together with so much blackmail in row midst. But the ending was so rewarding and the Epilogue so hilarious. Janna Fox has a lovely singing voice.

I was so pleased to see another story from Jess and narrated by Janna the two of you truly make magic. This was lovely I literally couldn't stop so ended up listening right up to the end. So it's midnight and I'm off to bed with a wonderful dream like story that can carry me off to dream land. This book is so enjoyable. I love the characters and how well rounded they already are even though I'm only a third of the way through. I already know I will be sad when this story ends.

I love this book! I listened twice in case I missed something. I can't imagine being sent across the world by my father, leaving my culture, my friends. However, Nora's fake voice, plans to irritate her intended family & wonderful humour makes an entertaining novel. The narration is perfect, too.

I just discovered this astounding author! Jess Heileman,you are a true artist! I can't wait to see how this story unfolds for Abigail,you seem to capture the true essence of a character and give them life, I can almost picture myself with them. Beautiful writing! And what a truly captivating work of art with, The Nabobs Daughter!!! I caught myself laughing so hard that I had to let my husband in on the book as well. You have a big fan in me.For now I will follow Abigail and so far loving every minute of it! Thank you for posting for free.

I’ve loved all your historical novels, especially the humor, and this book is no different. Maybe it’s just an attempt to appeal to a younger reader, but I was surprised and a little disappointed with the dumbing down of the writing and dialogue as a whole. You have such an incredible gift, and I think sharing that gift of beautiful writing and intelligent dialogue would really stand out in a world of simplistic and childish contemporary romances.

I really enjoy this narrator, and the story. Thank you for posting this Ms Heileman.
