I loved this story. I can always tell an American author because they say” out the window” instead of out of the window! But what a great yarn! Thank you it was much enjoyed and I loved the ‘ forgiveness flavour’- we need more of that and less vengeance in the world so very beautifully done! Xx
I think my bio saying I’m from Texas might also be a dead giveaway. Good thing people can read, write, and enjoy Regencies from any part of the world 😉
One objection - speaking Gaelic is a wonderful thing 😀 at least for me it is ❤ LOVE this book and enjoyed listening immensely. Just like the other Kasey Stockton books, it's so well written, what a lovely way to sneak away and join Kate for a wee while. Thank you ,Kasey for sharing this with us ❤🙋🏻♀❤
@@AuthorKaseyStockton yesssss and I love it ❤ When listening to the Scottish audiobooks I thought how great it would be if there was a Gaelic version - in print and/or audio. I started learning Gaelic 4 years ago and enjoy it very much. There are quite a lot of people learning online. Sadly there's not much literature in Scottish Gaelic on the market. In case you might consider a translation and need more information, I think Jason could answer a lot of the questions. He's from Maine, teaches Gaelic for a living. After studying Gaelic he even taught at the Gaelic college on the Isle of Skye. Jason also has a YT channel "Gaelic with Jason".... just saying 😀A girl can dream even in her 60s 😀
Excellent. I love that the fl and the ml were strong and authentic in characters great lesson on forgiveness and the great lesson on the consequences of unforgiveness. I love how love kept extending grace even to the one who seemed to not deserve it. Love conquers all and true love gives you a safe place to forgive. Bravo👏🏾
I have always struggled with anger , resentments, and unforgiveness. I have been working on it with a therapist and 12 step sponsor, and it is getting better. I was told that resentments only hurt you, not the wrongdoers. I had to write down my resentments and how they affected me to see the damage to motivate me to let go. I also had to write down my part in the resentments so I could see where i was in the wrong, make amends, change behaviors, build my character and reconcile relationships if appropriate. Obviously there are some situations you don't play a part like if you were abused. I really get into psychology and human behavior so I like to understand why people act how they do for example mental illness. It helps to have compassion on them and to wish them well. This is NOT justifying or condoning it just helps to understand, have compassion, and wish them well. Its also not good to get revenge, not only because of consequence but they will get their karma and there will be justice. If it motivates them to change and make anends be happy for them.
I'm a little dubious about the ending. Shunting the villain off to Antigua no doubt assuages the consciences of the leads, but what about the people he will have power over there?
That’s why he will be heavily supervised. It’s not about conscience, it’s about true forgiveness. What he chooses to do with his life after that will have consequences outside of his brother’s control.

And yet Americans might say "move it off of the table" where Brits say "move it off the table" - language variations are interesting!
@@eshaneogy yes apsoluptly.

This was such a lovely read / listen. 5 stars.✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨
I absolutely love your writing ❤❤❤
An other great listen. 😊
Hooked from chapter one!
Nice story, surprised me about Martin.
Why she never asked about the older brothers when she first met Martin, never made sense to me.
Do you mean when he explained they'd known each other in childhood? I don't think she knew the other two boys were his brothers?
She didn’t know they were brothers.
Both men had reasons as to why this wasn't mentioned. Peter at first had no idea she was the same girl and Martin wanted to use it as manipulation
Not at the end yet but i absolutely LOVE this story!! A romance mystery!? I didnt know such a thing existed.
I love your books. I read the Bradwell Brother's stories in between your uploads 😃
Thank you so much!
I loved this book❤
🎉. She returns to her early childhood home. Now has feelings for Peter Evans

I've been looking forward for new upload from you...thank you so much!!!!!!!❤
Me too 🥰
Same!! Thank you!
Great story
Thank you
Wish Martin had gone to prison!! Kidnapping, murder, attempted murder!! Evil! Loved the story!
You’re not alone! But the theme of the book is forgiveness. So that’s how I chose to end it 😊
I say he should have gone too. Because what if he comes back? Or Kate always to know "he's out there"
Great entertainment
