      yeah they're not dirty, they're "broken". you just happen to find pre-ripped jeans normal because they're a normal part of the culture we live in. that doesn't mean they make any more sense.

      They aren't painted. It's actual mud and you can't wash them because it drastically changes them. It's 500 for a pair of jeans you CAN'T wash

      I've come to the conclusion that every time this guy shows up in the beginning of a video saying, "I was on the internet and found ____", that just means they're copying another TH-camr and trying not to get their asses chewed. They did this with this Annika Victoria ripoff and the Saf inspired clear jeans ripoff.

    • @darkanddandy6898
      @darkanddandy6898 7 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      And she's the only one who does that? TH-cam is saturated with people doing the exact same thing. I enjoy her videos but she's by no means the only one who does them. There are plenty of other youtubers doing videos like Thrift Make or Buy. Just like Anika Victoria did a video about the TopShop Pants, which is conventiently similar a video Safiya Nygaard. Both of which were posted at nearly the same time.
      Just because you're a stan for a specific youtuber doesn't mean that youtuber is unique or special.

    EXTRA TIP: use acid washing!! construction workers deal with chemicals sometimes, giving that bleached look and then put the mud over it.

    Goddamn if upper class people want grunge style outfits, I have a pre stained Levi jacket for $1,000 bucks. I'll even throw in the band logos I drew in pen on the sleeves during sophomore year for free.

    425$ per item is not cheap and 110$ is not any better. You purchase two "semi-expensive" items and ruin them. You could have bought a pair of jean and denim jacket for a way lower price at any thrift store, Walmart, target..(The list goes on lol). This is coming from a college student who can't afford to spend 110$ on simply two items.

    How is this a thing!!! Seriously...... if you walked into my house looking like that, I would promptly tell you to go outside, strip down ( and not I a sexy way) and spray yourself down with the garden hose (or if was really caked on like the $450 pair, a power washer....). Real rugged men do not run around like this. My better half is a hard working diesel mechanic and farm boy. I love him dearly and like that he has dirt under his nails and beat to hell, callused hands. That being said, he knows better than to dirty up my house with said clothes haha. He takes those clothes off by the backdoor and I wash them for him.He knows damn well I'm not going out with him smelling like cow manure and pig ****. I'm bothered by these guys out here acting like they're rugged and country. It is a false image and it frankly mocks the life a lot of us live. I find these pants and jacket offensive. To me it says that the hard work, stains and smells a lot of these men carry from daily life and trying to make a living; those marks, can be easily bought and emulated. Blue collar work is not a fashion statement. For many its a way of life. And not an easy one at that. Why don't these city guys come down to Texas or the south with that mess. See how many woman actually pay attention to you. Better yet, well help you earn your own stains and tears. Ones you can wear with pride haha.
