MY BELOVED VOLTRON. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH FOR WATCHING IT. Till this day i can't accept the death of adam. Shiro was my new hyperfixation with his HOT design and how the character was written. The fandom can be a bit scary but it's not that bad. Oh fun fact! The altea is a seafairing ship present on the planet of Aris, the original Altea (planet, not the ship, the oringial altean homeworld is Airis), from 1984. As I said, the guys who wrote this show totally watched the original series.

5:30 This is actually drawn from the 1984 tv show. Actually, most of this show's ideas are just ripped right from the 1984 tv show, but they're exectued infinitely better. You'd be surprised how much of this show sticks to it's literally 40ish year old roots, its, it's actually kinda crazy. Even the Gulra kinda have their roots in the Drul from the original series, LITERALLY RIPPING A VILLAIN FROM THE SHOW IN THE 80S RIGHT INTO THIS SHOW. The guy with the weird floaty arm! They're literally the same character, only one is cooler, the netflix one. 😂

SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT SPOILER AAAAAALERT The main problem I have with the ending is that Hagar did not need a redemption arc after having killed literally, QUINTILLIONS OF PEOPLE TO GET EHAT SHE WANTED. She ended, ENTIRE UNIVERSES AND TIMELINES JUST TO HAVE A FAMILY. That is genocide on a WHOLE new level. Also, fun fact, the alternate universe shiro they encounter in the show is actually a main character from the original 1984 tv show, named Sven. He's from finnland or something, hence the funny accent. Sven is literally my favorite character drom that show, because he was one of the only interesting ones. 😂 If you like this show (2016 voltron, aka netflix voltron) you should watch the show that came out in 2012, I forget what its called but just look up 2012 voltron and you'll find it. Its sort of a direct sequel to the 80s show andnis honestly way better, and its criminal that the show only got ONE season. Cancelling it that early is just unfair, it was just getting good. 😂
1:20 DON'T DON'T SO IT ITS NOT WORTH IT DON'T DO IT I watched the entire series so nobody else has to, here's my opinion: IT'S TOO DAMN OLD 😂 1984 voltron is a product of its time much like any show, but this one REEEEEEEEALLY shows its age. The princess is completely useless until she suddenly isn't. There are space mice. And they get entire episodes. (actually some of the best ones) The plot for a good season or two is just, "LOTOR WANTS TO RIZZ THE PRINCESS BUT HE CANNOT FOR HE IS AN EVIL JERK!!! did we mention he's EEEEEEEEVIIIIIILLL?!" 😂 It's worse than Heman I swear. Oh but there was this one season that actually was really good. Of course, back in the 80s, nobody liked it, because it was actually kind of a like mid season mid show reboot, which threw me for a fricking loop. I was so confused, I thought I'd accidentially clicked on a new show. Nah, they just said, "hey you know that voltron stuff? Well some of it is kinda lame so what if there were like, MULTIPLE voltrons? And this second one is made up of various space land and sea vehicles." This one plays out more like baby's first star trek, they roam around the galaxy in search of a new home for earth due to a massive over population issue, and they fight the Drul I believe. The Drul are kinda like a space empire. They're pretty cool. Incase you do actually want to eatch this i wont spoil anything else but ya, all in all, its not worth your time dude, there's at least 100 episodes and most of thrm are just the same thing eith a few different ideas thrown in. 😂

I play DnD, my group is actually meeting later today as I write this, (night owl, im always uo at the hours of ungodly) and the show fricking nailed it! You just know the writers used to play. XD I literally almost pulled a shiro, i was playing a dnd version of the joker once, and he died a bit early, so i almost went, "aaaaaaand this one is also the joker!" I still kinda did but he ended up more like dr doom than the joker. 😂 8:40 Ah, I remember this one! I commited it to memory because the show actually explains what a decophebe is once, its a year i think. Almost said a decade but I believe the show sayas it's a year.
