All in all, I agree with this analysis of the movie. I have a few more issues with just “Teen Titans Go” and it carries on into “Teen Titans Go the The Movies” and that being the fact that THEY CAN NEVER TAKE SOMETHING SERIOUSLY EVEN IF IT COULD DESTROY EVERYTHING! No matter of the threat is something as intense as Trigon or Slade or some other big intimidating villain, they just treat it as a joke or just sing about toilet jokes or something. When I saw some serious clips from “Teen Titans Go to The Movies” I legitimately thought they were going to take this iteration of the Titans seriously but I was throughly let down by the “humorous shenanigan” and I hesitate to even call it humorous. I just hope the writers start to make the show a bit more serious for some of the older fans who grew up with 2003 Teen Titans.

Look dude, just because they aren't the serious more realistic titans that you grew up watching in the 2000s, doesn't make them bad or unbearable. This is just your nostalgia taking affect and causing your biased opinion. I am victimized as well, I felt the same way for the newer blues clues that was 3d and not her usual 2d appearance we all knew and loved. Saying this before watching the video btw

The worst part is, if you watch teen titans go, you actually feel BAD for go robin despite of how unlikeable is

When I was little I used to watch teen titans go a lot and I remember that Robin was my least favorite character, but recently I started watching 2003 teen titans and Robin is my fav so far

Why are the TTG movies so much better than the shows by a tenfold

It makes me cringe so much how much they try to appeal to more mature audiences with meta jokes, every so often I get reels of those jokes

They just did their version of Crisis on Infinite Earths from the comics, which happened so they can reboot all of their properties as one universe. It didn't stick because some of the writers do want to write stories that won't affect the main canon so they made further storylines that made way for the multiverse to return. Unless they make a company-wide mandate to only write the animated shows and movies as only 1 universe, this version of the crisis doesn't really have the same influence on the overall plot the same way the actual Crisis on Infinite Earths did in the comics. On the bright side though, some writer/s can still write a proper reunion for Aya and Razer in the future since it didn't happen in this movie.

You blew my mind with the Go Robin and OG Robin character development potential that was missed. I bet it's cause they didn't want to make any permanent changes to Go Robin that significantly alters his character since the series was continuing and the story would have had to adapt. A really cool detail in "My Adventures with Superman" is that slade in the beginning as the exact same fighting style as Nightwing (future robin) wich keeps the theme of them being so similar

18:20 they're not exactly gonna have their OLD stars anymore after the ANTI MONITOR of their continuity did his thing there, literally their old sun was dead as of partway through that episode

This isnt some deep message or even a good story, this is the Go writers being salty that people hate their show and shitting on the old one in retaliation. It isn't even the first time they've gone out of their way to show how salty they are by directly putting it into the show. Like that one episode where they just made fun of the people who hate the show. Or that other episode where they just made fun of the people who hate the show. Or-

Unpopular opinion,I like Teen Titans Go.I’m also watching the og show too and so far it’s really great too

I am so glad I grew up on this and the 1st two seasons of Ninjago from Cartoon Network.

I literally hate go because they made Robin seem like a joke. I’ve never been able to articulate it, but this person is perfectly correct. They decided to emphasize all of the flaws about Robin. They could’ve emphasized that he was a planner. Made him a bit of a grump, kinda like Batman because that’s how he is in the Teen Titans show from 2003, but they didn’t do that. They made him the butt of every joke. There’s literally a movie dedicated to making him the butt of the joke. And at the end of the day, every time he finally stepped up for himself because he had enough of being made fun of or whatever, he always has to admit that he’s in the wrong, or overcome whatever “selfish” sing that’s holding him back, like being made fun of to the point of wanting to go solo, only for his team, too fail at being heroes, which leads to Robin getting blamed for abandoning his team, even though they’re the ones that basically pushed him into leaving. I’m pretty certain that’s an actual episode from Teen Titans go. I know that he’s had a moment like that in the movie. But yeah. There are some jokes like that in the original teen Titans as well but they make him seem at least a little bit cool. I’ve seen that comes to mind is the prom scene from the original teen Titans in 2003 where Robin is threatened to go to prom with kitty and he shows up looking all bad ass on a motorcycle and a tuxedo. But Teen Titans go everything about Robin is lame and is a joke to both the audience and the other members of the cast from his appearance to the way he acts…. it’s just so sad to see them make such a beloved character fall from glory like this. And it’s been happening for 10 years now.

I liked TTG, it’s not supposed to have clever plots or multi faceted characters, not everything needs to be serious. It’s a silly show with some gags that are honestly entertaining (like how robin is constantly trying to teach the titans about financial literacy) they make silly meta content using beloved characters so not everything is doom and gloom all the time, the OG TT is better but that doesn’t automatically mean TTG is bad it might’ve started off by imitating plots from TT but the show has grown into an entity of its own and I think it’s fun to see some of my favourite characters be goofy and not have to worry about their worlds collapsing around them.

Actually love consideration about Deadpool knowing that it's pg-13. So far, a big fan of your Marvel and DC content.

Im sorry to say this, but Slade was a creep, even in the show. He always gave me extreme predator vibes, and that honestly just goes on line with his character. The comics just make it more apparent then the shows.
